Chapter 27: The Avengers (3)
"Man, the emotional damage must be worse for them than the physical one." Kirishima said sympathetically.
'EMOTIONAL DAMAGE!' Kiddo shouted mentally before staring at the readers. 'My apologies'
"The bruises on our body may heal quickly, but it takes time within the heart." Recovery Girl said.
01:29:21 - 01:29:32
"That's sad. He couldn't fulfill his bucket list." Midoriya said, thinking about the possibility where he died from the Sludge Villain before he could meet his hero.
"How rude! Couldn't he just have handed those cards to him properly!?" Hagakure snapped, which surprised everyone. "That's just disrespectful to his dead friend!"
"Everybody grieves in their own way, Hagakure. You need to calm down." Aizawa said.
Hagakure lowered her head, "My apologies, sensei."
01:29:32 - 01:30:42
After hearing the true purpose of the Avengers Initiative, the audience finally understood why Fury wanted to form a group of remarkable people in the first place. There may be threats that the governments all over the world wouldn't be able to handle in the future, so a group of heroes would work together and stop that threat from ensuing.
"So the Avengers is basically the equivalent of bringing together numerous Pro Heroes together from all over the world to fight together in unity." Hawks said. "It sounds nice. I don't think Mirko would agree though."
"While it may sound nice in concept, I can understand why Fury deemed it a greater risk." Aizawa understands that forming a group of heroes is much more risky than the Phase 2 weapons. "The heroes need to communicate and work together as a whole, but as we've seen throughout the story, they failed miserably. And relying on a group of individuals this early would cause fear instead of hope in the public."
"But it doesn't mean they can't try again. Isn't that why we have teamwork in our lessons? So that we could learn to overcome our differences and work together to achieve the goal?" Iida questioned.
"…You're correct." Aizawa answered.
"All my life, I thought I was the Symbol of Peace." All Might began, as everyone stared at him. "I thought I was the one who will bring true peace in the world and stop the Villains from terrorizing the country, now I know I was wrong." He then stared at the future heroes. "Perhaps… the world doesn't need one symbol, it needs something more."
"All Might…" Midoriya said before looking at his hands. He realized that he shouldn't follow All Might's footsteps as the Symbol of Peace. He needs to become more than that. He needs to become another symbol, along with his friends and schoolmates. He believes that they need to become something else and work together. "We'll try our best, All Might!"
"So we just need to be symbols of ourselves. Neat." Kaminari said.
"Don't let that go over your head." Jiro warned him.
Toga pretended to puke, "All the dramatic conversation makes me wanna puke."
"Yeah, it's so ridiculous." Dabi agreed.
"And I disagree with the plan of forming the hero group. I prefer Captain America working with trustworthy and reliable people instead of Iron Man or Thor." Spinner said.
01:30:42 - 01:31:06
"Perhaps, the world might just need a little old-fashioned." Midoriya quoted Coulson.
"Yeah." Shoto agreed.
01:31:06 - 01:31:28
"Hm… What is Thor thinking?" Kaminari asked curiously.
"He's probably wondering whether he is truly worthy or not." All Might answered. "He is wondering if he is strong enough to stop his brother and save everyone from his tyranny. And if he ever fails, he is probably wondering if he should've remained unworthy when he died. I understand his feelings because I similarly feel the same during my time as a hero."
"That's deep, bro. I don't think Endeavor would love to see your sullen look right now." Hawks said teasingly, which made All Might laugh.
"I would be satisfied if that hammer betrays him right now." Dabi said. "It probably already is, considering he failed to stop his own brother."
01:31:28 - 01:31:37
"Brucey! You're alright!" Toga was glad that Banner wasn't injured, even though she confidently knew he would be fine from the fall.
"Banner is back to normal." Mirio said before sighing in relief. "I'm so grateful that Hulk didn't go rampage across the city."
"Me too, though I wish he wasn't naked though." Ashido said while looking away with blushed cheeks. "Why is he naked? Wasn't Hulk wearing pants?"
"I don't think those pants would've fit him anymore because they became shorts when he transformed. And they were probably burnt upon falling from the sky." Shishida answered.
01:31:37 - 01:31:49
"I hope the pigeons were alright." Koda said worriedly.
"I'm grateful that Hulk didn't cause any destruction. I guess he must've snapped back to reality after the influence from the scepter disappeared." Yaoyorozu speculated.
"Yeah. We all know that Hulk doesn't attack anyone or anything as long as they don't provoke him." Midoriya said. "He only wants to be left alone, which Banner also wanted in the beginning."
"Well, it's too late to turn back now. He'll have to go to the location where the Tesseract is and stop it. He's currently the only one who knows where it is."
"Ha. He can just leave the 'heroes' to do the job. He already fulfilled his part of the deal, so he can go back to his old life and… 'help' people." Toga hesitates to say that word due to doing the opposite of it.
01:31:49 - 01:31:57
"Awake? Does that mean Hulk… maneuvered himself to land in the building… to avoid hitting anyone?" Nejire asked.
"It was probably Banner influencing Hulk via subconscious to avoid anyone from being hurt or killed. But if it was Hulk, then it wouldn't be too out of character because he does avoid anyone from being hurt sometimes." Midoriya said.
"Hmph. Why should he have cared about the people who deemed a monster? Is he really that… kind hearted?" Toga questioned.
"Well, Banner never really has lost his way after the public treated him as a criminal and monster. He stayed the same and never went out to exact his revenge. He's a different villain than the rest of us who turned back from the law due to being treated as monsters thanks to our Quirk." Dabi said, admitting that he's going too far with his vengeance but he doesn't care at all as long as his old man and his perfect creation suffer.
"I guess that's why Banner is a different villain than the rest of us. He may have a Quirk that is worse than ours, but it doesn't change who he is." Kurogiri said, as Toga looked back and thought about it slowly.
01:31:57 - 01:32:17
"What a kind old man." Uraraka complimented the man.
"Yeah. He is helping a stranger who he just met and saw him as Hulk earlier." Shishida said. "He probably heard about Hulk in the news, but that doesn't stop him from helping him."
"Stan from The Incredible Hulk and this old man helped him. I guess the elderly in that reality are kind hearted." Toga said, wishing all of the people were like them who don't treat anyone dangerous because of their Quirk and appearance. She wouldn't have become a villain if someone accepted her for who she is. She wondered if she would've become a hero if everyone didn't treat her as a monster. It's too late to go back now because she enjoys the thrill of blood and killing.
01:32:17 - 01:32:31
Kamikiri chuckled, "I mean, he's not wrong. He does have a condition."
"Still, Hulk saved Banner from many occasions. He is basically his guardian, so his artificial Quirk is basically both a blessing and a curse." Tokoyami said. "I hope both of them will find peace with each other."
"Yeah, they'll probably become stronger and smarter if they work together. It's the best of both worlds!" Shishida agreed.
'Foreshadowing…' Kiddo said mentally before munching on the chocolate doughnut.
"That would be quite terrifying and amazing at the same time." Kodai said.
01:32:31 - 01:32:57
"Is Loki trying to regain control or something?" Komori asked worriedly.
"I don't think so." Shinso answered. "He must've forgotten about him after he escaped. I think he's fighting back the scepter's influence to regain control of his own mind and body again."
"Good. We wouldn't want him to go rampant again unwillingly." Snipe said.
01:32:57 - 01:33:21
"What does she mean by that?" Tsunotori asked curiously.
Aizawa sighed, "It means that she was forced to be trained as a killer at a young age. Her superior must've forced her to obey them without any questions. She wasn't allowed to have free will. She was forced to kill mercilessly until Agent Barton rescued her and redeemed herself."
"That's messed up." Ojiro said.
"Agreed. If there is anything worse than brainwashing, it's that you can't think anything about yourself." Shinso said.
01:33:21 - 01:33:40
"Aww. They really are best friends." Uraraka said.
"Of course they are. She was only hiding that fact from Loki so that her emotions wouldn't get to her." La Brava said. "Perhaps they can be more than best friends in the future."
"Uh yeah, I wouldn't think about that ever. You'll understand what I mean soon." Kiddo said.
01:33:40 - 01:33:57
"Exactly. You weren't in control of your own body. Those blood are on Loki's hands, not yours, agent." Makoto said. "Unless you think differently, Vlad King."
Vlad grumbled, "I'm not sharing my thoughts."
"Besides, they can train to their limits after encountering 'monsters and magic' now." Tiger said. "They may be Quirkless, but they have potential to become stronger. I can see that in them."
01:33:57 - 01:34:13
"That's great!" Tokage said with an annoyed tone before facepalming. "Banner is the only person who knows the location of the Tesseract now. He has no choice, but to inform the heroes somehow."
'I definitely hope it's not that location.' Hawks and Nezu said mentally.
01:34:13 - 01:34:20
"Now you're talking!" Kirishima exclaimed. "A little gross about the eye socket, but whatever!"
"It seems that Agent Barton, or Hawkeye, will be joining the battle." Snipe said. "I'm definitely interested in how he fights with a bow and arrow."
"Yeah. I want to see how a Quirkless person like him can fight with a primitive weapon. It's exciting to see it." Midoriya said excitedly.
"I'm sure he'll run away once he doesn't have any arrows anymore." Bakugo said confidently. "He'll be hopelessly helpless without them."
01:34:20 - 01:34:48
"A lot. He brainwashed you, mocked her mysterious and tragic past, attacked her and the other heroes using you, manipulated the Hulk into attacking her, and killed Agent Coulson who is her closest ally." Uraraka answered Barton's questions. "You can bet that she wants to fight in the frontlines just because of Loki."
"If you put it like that, yeah… I would've been pissed as well." Tetsutetsu agreed with the explanation.
01:34:48 - 01:35:10
"Poor Natasha. I hope she wipes her ledger one day." Tsunotori said hopefully.
"It might take time because we're unaware of how much red she needed to wipe out. She probably killed a lot of people since she was a child. The only thing she could do is forgive herself and move on from her past while trying to commit something good to redeem herself from her past actions." All Might said.
"Agreed. You can't change the past, but it doesn't mean you can't move forward." Midnight said.
"A former villain was reformed? This must be a dream because there's no way that would happen." Toga said.
"Unfortunately, it does. The villains aren't seen as monsters yet in this reality. Most of the people have different mindsets about them." Kurogiri said. "Heck, there's probably a few people who saw Hulk as a hero because he saved Harlem from Abomination."
"That's absurd. There's no way anyone would see him as a 'hero'." Toga said in denial.
01:35:10 - 01:35:34
"Man, I feel bad for her. I wonder how she's going to take the news that her love just died out of nowhere. And I'm confident that she doesn't know Coulson was an agent." Kirishima said sympathetically.
"Darn it. I wanted to see a love blossom between the cellist and Agent Coulson. I'm so disappointed in Loki for ruining this chance." Ashido said with an annoyed tone.
01:35:34 - 01:35:41
Mirio raised his eyebrow, "Excuse me, what? That was dis-"
Kiddo teleported in front of them and raised his hand, "Hold on now. You need to hear what he has to say first."
01:35:41 - 01:35:50
"He has a point. They should've assumed that Loki would've escaped by now, especially Coulson. He should've grabbed a few agents as a precaution. There's a chance he would've survived from being stabbed in the heart… literally." Naomasa explained.
"You're right. Agent Coulson could've lived if he waited a little longer. Thor would've survived the fall anyway, so he should've followed Loki quietly instead." Yaoyorozu agreed. "It was a reckless plan, but it was understandable."
Shigaraki chuckled, "So his death means nothing? He sacrificed himself for absolutely nothing!"
"You're wrong, Shigaraki. It meant something… for the heroes. You'll see why." Midoriya said.
"Shut up, brat. Who gave you the permission to talk to me?" Shigaraki asked while forming a fist after the green-haired brat ruined his joy with his comment.
01:35:50 - 01:36:02
"Yeah… that was the wrong thing to say, captain." Sato said.
"He witnessed soldiers dying in front of his eyes by the terrorists who used his weapons." Melissa agreed. "It isn't the first time he lost a soldier."
01:36:02 - 01:36:15
"I mean, yeah, to hurt you guys. What does it have to do with the current situation though?" Kendo asked.
"I don't know, but Stark suspected something. He just needs to put the pieces together." Shoto answered.
"I've already thought about it, but I'll let the real genius do the talking." Nezu said confidently.
01:36:15 - 01:36:34
"Of course. The weakness of some villains…" All Might understood where Stark is going with. "…attention."
"It makes sense. It's similar to his act in Germany where he made everyone kneel before him because he's a god." Shoji said. "He's a narcissist."
"Isn't that your plan, Shigi? To have an audience?" Toga questioned.
"Not now, Toga." Shigaraki threatened her.
01:36:34 - 01:36:49
Honenuki raised his eyebrow, "Did he just realize that he was describing himself?"
"Yes, and no. He figured out the location of the Tesseract AND Loki." Nezu answered. "Can someone guess where it is?"
Midoriya widened his eyes, "The Stark Tower!"
"I was really hoping it wasn't in that location." Hawks said.
"You knew, sir?" Tokoyami questioned.
"Yeah, I saw it on the computer with my eyes. It was very obvious." Hawks answered.
01:36:49 - 01:36:57
"And it seems Stark was right. This isn't good." Sero said.
"Oh no. Loki is going to start his alien invasion in the middle of New York." Iida said while fumbling with his thumbs nervously. "And he has his audience as well. It's basically a perfect spot for it. I can't believe I just said that."
"The entirety of Stark Tower is also filled with arc reactor's unlimited clean energy. It'll definitely be enough for the Tesseract to create a stable and controllable portal without it going haywire." Melissa reminded everyone. "This is terrible."
"Somebody has to get Loki's stinky feet off my god's tower right now!" Hatsume shouted.
"Thor will definitely give him a spanking after this, assuming he knows the location." Kaminari said.
"I'm sure he'll find out soon through the news or something." Komori said.
01:36:57 - 01:37:10
"Yeah, Hawkeye is joining the fight!" Katsuma cheered.
"Does that mean Hawkeye is a member of the Avengers now? Cool." Midoriya said, happy that a Quirkless person is joining a group of superhuman individuals.
"This is probably the first time I've heard a Quirkless hero joining a group. And I'm all for it!" Kirishima was excited to see the capabilities of Hawkeye in battle.
"It's so absurd…" Bakugo was in denial that there's actually Quirkless hero joining with the heroes, and he literally has no enhancements nor armored suits, just a simple bow and arrow. It's absurd to think about it.
01:37:10 - 01:37:14
"That was a cool line." All Might complimented the one-liner.
"Yeah, it felt like I would follow Captain America wherever he goes. He's a natural born leader." Cementoss said before bursting into a chuckle. "And to think we considered him to be a liability in the battlefield before."
"Well, sometimes fate laughs at us for underestimating someone like Steve Rogers." Thirteen said.
01:37:14 - 01:37:37
The audience were getting chills and goosebumps from the montage scene. They felt a thunderous roar in their hearts when Thor picked up his hammer and summoned the lightning, felt something patriotic in their spirit when Captain America pulls out his shield and puts on his helmet, felt a tingling sensation from the inventors when Iron Man was fixing the damaged helmet, and felt a chilling and excitement in their bones when Black Widow attached her gauntlets on her wrist while Hawkeye slipped on his new quiver of arrows.
"Oooh~ I'm interested in those baby gauntlets…" Hatsume said. "And I'm also interested in those 'trick' arrows."
"Man, I felt stronger after seeing all of that!" Kirishima exclaimed.
"You're not the only one!" Tetsutetsu agreed before both of them did a fist bump.
"I'm not going to lie… that was epic." Mr. Compress admitted.
"You're in trouble now, Loki. You have angered these people and now they'll try to stop you. You've made the biggest mistake of your life." All Might declared. "These mightiest heroes will save the world from you."
"I'd love to see them try." Dabi was confident that Loki was going to win and conquer the world, though he disagreed with the latter and simply ignored it.
01:37:37 - 01:37:45
"Oh damn! Never tell your elders what to do, everyone!" Tsuburaba said.
'I know the feeling.' All Might remembered the time when he tried to tell something 'important' to Gran Torino, only to be told to quiet down because he was still eating teriyaki.
"If I was their superior, I would've never approved of someone commandeering an airship without my permission… but considering there's an incoming invasion, I suppose I'll overlook the insubordination." Naomasa said professionally.
"It wouldn't be the first time Captain America went against the orders, brother." Makoto reminded him.
"And that's one of the reasons why he's a true hero!" Spinner exclaimed, as his comrades were starting to get sick from hearing those words while Shigaraki silently agreed unknowingly.
01:37:45 - 01:38:07
"Wah? That is messed up, Fury. You took your late friend's card from his locker and wiped them with his fresh blood… just so that you can give them a push?" Iida questioned. "That is disrespectful to the dead!"
"It's necessary, Iida. Those heroes wouldn't have bothered to find Loki soon if they didn't direct their negative emotions to their target, who is the killer of Agent Coulson." Aizawa defended Fury. "They would've simply taken too much time from mourning the dead rather than finding and stopping Loki… but yes, I agree it's a bit messed up."
"I don't think the heroes would be glad to hear that once they discover it." Gentle said.
01:38:07 - 01:38:19
"Alright, ladies and gentlemen. Get ready for the final shadow between the heroes and the God of Mischief!" Present Mic shouted loudly, much to his friends' and peers' annoyance.
"This is going to be amazing and exciting!" Tetsutetsu exclaimed while clenching his hands due to the excitement.
"Stop meaning Loki, Iron Man!" Eri cheered adorably.
01:38:19 - 01:38:38
"Iron Man arrived too late." Melissa said. "Well, there goes Plan A off the window."
"He can just simply blast the device, and then boom, there'll be no alien invasion." Tsunotori said.
"If only that were easy." Shoto said.
01:38:38 - 01:39:04
"Woah! That's one hell of a defense system! Awesome!" Hatsume complimented the device until everyone glared at her. "I mean… terribly awesome!"
"Thanks for the early warning, J.A.R.V.I.S." Awase said sarcastically. "It wouldn't have caused a small shockwave if you warned Stark early."
"I'm sure J.A.R.V.I.S. was still analyzing the device before his reckless master tried to destroy it with repulsor blasts." Iida defended the A.I.
"But if the barrier is unbreachable, how are they going to destroy the device?" Nejire asked. "Surely they have some sort of plan."
"I'm not sure if they do. I don't think even Hulk or Thor could even destroy it. I think they'll have to fight the alien invasion after all." Yaoyorozu answered.
01:39:04 - 01:39:14
"Mark VII!? So we're going to see a new baby!" Hatsume was excited to see a new Iron Man suit after so long, hoping that the chest piece isn't a triangular shape. "I wonder what kind of weapons this baby has."
"Calm down, Hatsume. We'll see soon enough when it's ready." Power Loader said.
"Yeah, it's definitely smart to change the suits. There's no way his current one will be able to withstand prolonged combat. It barely withstood the blast. He was lucky that the suit didn't malfunction and plummet to his death." Melissa said.
01:39:14 - 01:39:34
"Uh… why is Stark removing his suit!? I'm pretty sure he might want to keep it on when facing a literal demonic demigod!" Mineta pointed out.
"I'm sure he has a plan. And if he doesn't, he improvises it which oddly works for him." Shoto answered. "Besides, Loki is going to lower his guard because he doesn't find him a threat for now."
Shigaraki growled, "Loki could kill him right there. What is he waiting for?"
"Conversation, Shigaraki." Kurogiri answered.
01:39:34 - 01:39:42
"Yeah, he should've really left his armor if he's 'threatening' him. Loki doesn't look threatened by a normal looking man right now." Kendo said.
"Let's just hope that Stark really has a plan, otherwise, this is no different than committing seppeku." Shoji said.
01:39:42 - 01:39:58
"Getting drunk before a big fight. I'm not sure if that's a good idea." Shinso said.
"Well, Stark has been on edge from all the craziness last night. I guess having a drink will replenish his energy and calm his nerves. It's a terrible idea to send an unprepared hero to fight an army." Midnight said. "Isn't that right, Shota?"
"I guess. As long as he isn't drinking too much, then it'll be fine to have one before the battle if that helps him." Aizawa agreed.
"I think I need a drink after this." All Might said.
"I'll be sure to prepare the beers or wines later." Lunch Rush said, listing it down on his notepad in case he'll forget.
01:39:58 - 01:40:08
There were grins and smirks from the students' faces while the villains rolled their eyes from the simple answer that the Avengers will fear Loki. There were some slight goosebumps and chills in some of the students when the team name dropped.
01:40:08 - 01:40:13
"Earth's Mightiest Heroes? That's honestly a cool title for them!" Kota exclaimed happily, as everyone stared at him in surprise, which made him blush from embarrassment. "I-I mean, it's a cool title. W-Whatever…"
"Yeah. I agree, kid. There's some ring to it, even though it's a bit narcissistic that they considered themselves the greatest heroes of Earth." Midnight approved of the title.
"Considering they're the only heroes for now, Stark isn't really lying that they are." All Might said. 'And it's a bit of a coincidence that I called them mightiest heroes earlier.'
01:40:13 - 01:40:24
"Oof, that was smart. By calling out his brother first makes Loki unhinged." Sero complimented Stark.
"Snarky Stark. That was a bad idea." Dabi said, knowing that Loki would be enraged by that comment.
"Also, a demigod? I'm pretty sure Thor isn't half-human." Kodai pointed out.
"I think the demigod part is that he's half-alien and half-god, I think." Midoriya said. "I'm also confused by what makes Thor and other asgardians deities."
"See!? I'm not the only one!" Kaminari exclaimed.
01:40:24 - 01:40:29
"Yep, he definitely does." Midoriya agreed while smiling when Stark told Loki about the second member.
"Captain America will always be a legend amongst legends in that reality. A symbol and icon to the world." All Might said. "I'm not in the same league as him."
01:40:29 - 01:40:31
Toga raised her eyebrow, "Is he talking about Hulk? What makes him think he's part of the superhero group?"
"Because he is. Stark considers him as a hero, hence why he considers him part of the team." Kurogiri answered. "He'll basically be the first ever villain to join a hero team."
"…that's absurd." Toga refused to believe that Hulk will ever become a hero. She believes that the people wouldn't accept a monster as a hero, especially after the Harlem Incident with Abomination.
"Yeah! Dr. Banner and Mr. Hulk are heroes!" Eri cheered, which made Mirio and Midoriya smile while Toga was so confused on why the little girl considered Hulk as a hero rather than a villain.
01:40:31 - 01:40:38
"Oh yeah, he definitely did." Tokage agreed with Stark. "He'll regret doing that, especially killing Agent Coulson."
"Indeed. He better surrender now unless he wants to feel the pain from the heroes' wrath." Naomasa said.
Dabi rolled his eyes, "As if he'll be afraid of an empty threat."
"And it seems that Hawkeye and Black Widow are officially members of the Avengers, which means they're considered heroes now." Uraraka said.
"A government spy and assassin becoming heroes because of Loki. That's unexpected." Hawks said.
"And judgement. If they're heroes, then they're false heroes because of their actions and unheroic deeds." Spinner doesn't approve that a government spy and assassin are considered heroes in this reality.
01:40:38 - 01:40:50
Shishida chuckled, "A neat comeback."
"And a pretty even argument. Nothing can stop the Hulk. The Chitauri will only increase his strength if they enraged him long enough." Midoriya said.
01:40:50 - 01:41:07
"That was… manly." Kirishima said.
"That's an… interesting threat… and a different goal for the heroes…" Yaoyorozu said.
The audience were having mixed feelings about 'The Avengers'. In the beginning, the heroes and students were conflicted by the name because it means 'a person who exacts punishment or inflicts harm in return for an injury or wrong'. It isn't the trait a hero should have, which Iida understood completely after trying to exact his revenge for his crippled older brother by killing Stain the Hero Killer. He regretted his actions ever since because he didn't think about saving a Pro Hero, compared to Midoriya.
In this story, however, it has a different perspective about the word 'avenger'. No matter the outcome, such as the heroes failing to stop Loki from conquering the world successfully, they may not have been able to protect the world, but they'll damn sure to avenge it. It is basically another word for 'never give up', only a badass version.
"It doesn't matter whether Loki wins. There will be other heroes who will avenge the world and avenge the fallen. It is something a villain like him doesn't understand." All Might said.
'And something I didn't understand before.' Iida said, feeling guilty that his friends were injured that time because of him.
"Avengers. I have been conflicted with the name because of the meaning, but after hearing the different version, I approve of it." Midnight approved the team name.
"The Avengers. Earth's Mightiest Heroes. I like that." Midoriya said before writing them down in his notebook.
"Tsk. 'Avengers'. If there's anything I hate about heroes, it's that they won't give up. They're like pests." Shigaraki despises the heroes who wouldn't surrender despite being disadvantaged against villains.
"Does that include Captain America? He doesn't surrender. He can do this all day after all." Toga reminded him.
"…whatever." Shigaraki doesn't have any comments about that.
01:41:07 - 01:41:16
"Oh sh*t! He's going to brainwash him!" Tetsutetsu exclaimed.
"No! Stark needs to get out of there! The other heroes are going to have to deal with brainwashed Iron Man! They don't have time for this!" Mineta pointed out.
"Calm down, Mineta." Shoji said calmly. "I'm sure Stark has a plan to overcome the brainwashing."
01:41:16 - 01:41:23
"…or doesn't have a plan at all." Shoji was quite surprised when the scepter was unable to brainwash Stark. "How is he uneff…?"
"The arc reactor! That beautiful baby protected him again!" Hatsume answered immediately.
"Wow. It was very convenient that he didn't have surgery yet." Melissa said while giggling, unbeknownst to her and everyone the reason why he still couldn't. "I guess keeping the arc reactor isn't just for a show."
"Ha! What are you going to do now, Loki!?" Kaminari asked mockingly.
"Don't jinx it, duncehead." Jiro said.
01:41:23 - 01:41:43
"Tony! No!" Hatsume called out when Stark was falling from his own tower after Loki threw him through the window.
Jiro glared at Kaminari, "You jinxed it."
"My apologies." Kaminari apologized by lowering his head.
"Well, there goes one hero." Shigaraki was smiling wickedly until he remembered the times that Stark survived miraculously, as he reverted back to his usual emotions. "He's not going to die. I would be surprised if he was already."
01:41:43 - 01:42:06
"That was awesome!" Maharo cheered, as her little brother snickered at her. "Uh… I mean, whatever…"
"Ingenious! The Mark VII baby is much more advanced than the Mark V!" Hatsume pointed out excitedly. "A sensory device that scans the wrist bracers before the pod forms the newly upgraded armored suit! It's very similar to the briefcase, except it doesn't need to be manually activated! A much more efficient mechanism because it'll just simply go to Tony whenever he's in a dangerous situation! Awesome!"
"I guess he would invent an improvised version of Mark V. It took a while before Pepper handed him over the briefcase. It was very inconvenient when the threat was literally a few feet away from you." Shoto said.
"And another improvement from the Mark VII is that it has more protection now. The purpose of Mark V was for mobility, but in this case, he needs a lot of protection against the army of aliens." Melissa added.
"Holy moly. This guy keeps adding new things to his suit whenever he faces an enemy." Shoda pointed out. "I'm starting to think he won't run out of ideas for his new suits."
Hatsume laughed, "Of course he won't, because Tony learns from his mistakes!"
01:42:06 - 01:42:15
"Heck yeah! Do it for Coulson!" Uraraka cheered when Iron Man blasted Loki.
"Avenge the fallen!" La Brava exclaimed, which slightly surprised Gentle.
"It seems Agent Coulson would've been regarded as an official member of The Avengers if he didn't die." Midnight said.
01:42:15 - 01:42:23
"A sky portal. Of course." All For One has seen so many sky portals from various movies in the past to the point he's getting sick of seeing them again.
01:42:23 - 01:42:39
"The alien invasion… has begun." Tokoyami said dramatically.
"Can the heroes really handle that scale of invasion?" Sato asked, doubting that six heroes could handle the alien invasion. "Iron Man sounded confident earlier."
"That was to hurt the trickster god's ego, but now, he's going to actually face the real thing." Yaoyorozu answered. "He needs to keep his own word that the Avengers will stop the invasion."
"They'll have to win. It's their purpose to fight the impossible battles that the governments couldn't handle." Hawks said.
Toga giggled, "I'm going to see so many deaths here."
01:42:39 - 01:42:45
"Eek! They're hideous!" Ashido expressed her disgust after seeing the Chitauri's appearance.
Most of the audience were mixed with disgust and horror reactions towards the Chitauri while some were interested in learning their biology or filled with hatred that these seemingly mindless beings are invading Earth without any purpose, but to serve. Eri and Katsuma were horrified by the appearance, as they tightly hugged Mirio and Midoriya, while Kota and Maharo felt that they would puke after seeing the alien invaders.
Melissa narrowed her eyes at their technology, "They have such advanced technology in this era. It's almost like Earth is the only primitive planet in the universe."
"Heck yeah! For such a disgusting race of aliens, they have great technology!" Hatsume expressed her excitement and delight after seeing the technology. "Hover vehicles, energy blasters, and even their ugly looking armor are amazing! How did they achieve such things!? Who is their inventor!?"
"Calm down, Hatsume." Power Loader said. "And I'm pretty sure the inventor is one of their boss' subordinates or something."
01:42:45 - 01:43:01
"Go, Iron Man! Show 'em who has superior technology!" Hatsume cheered.
"Hey, Iron Man is actually doing well against these guys." Honenuki pointed out. "This is easy peasy for him."
"No, he is not." Aizawa corrected him. "There's simply too many of them for one hero to take on. The rest of them are passing by him and heading straight for the city."
"Where are the others!? They haven't arrived yet or something!?" Mineta asked.
"A jet takes a while to arrive compared to the Iron Man suit, Mineta." Iida answered.
01:43:01 - 01:43:36
"Look at those people, running away from the Chitauri. It must've been terrifying for them." Fuyumi said, hoping a similar event wouldn't happen to her and her brother.
Mirio clenched his hands, "I wish I was there. A lot of those people are going to die. I wouldn't let that happen."
"Me too, Mirio, but we can't do anything." Midoriya agreed, feeling the same thing about watching people run away from the aliens in fear when he could save them if he was there.
01:43:36 - 01:43:49
"The God of Mischief doesn't even have a single regret of bringing an alien invasion to Earth. He is simply enjoying the death and destruction he is causing." Kuroiro said. "Are we sure he is being controlled by the scepter?"
"He still is, judging by the eyes. But the problem is that his new personality might've overtaken his original personality, even if the scepter wasn't controlling him anymore." Nezu answered. "This is a different Loki now. He isn't the one you used to know."
Dabi nodded, "Good. At least there'll be no emotional distraction. That was an irritatingly annoying fourth story."
01:43:49 - 01:43:55
"Thor is here! You arrived late, mister!" Komori complained.
"And can he even destroy the Tesseract? Iron Man couldn't even penetrate the barrier." Sero asked curiously.
"I don't think so. It is explicitly stated numerous times that the Tesseract is unlimited power. It can't be destroyed, even by a god." Yaoyorozu answered.
"I love that Thor is willing to destroy the Tesseract, even if he's unable to go home." Midoriya said while smiling at Thor's growth. "He is willing to sacrifice going back to Asgard in order to prevent the alien invasion from continuing to wreak havoc on Earth… if only the Tesseract wasn't impenetrable and unbreachable."
"He has changed. It makes sense why he's worthy of his own hammer again." All Might said.
"I still can't call him a true hero though." Spinner doesn't see the God of Thunder a true hero yet, because of his prideful personality and lack of saving people from the Chitauri.
"It'll be humorous if his hammer betrayed him right there." Dabi said wishfully.
01:43:55 - 01:44:02
"Here we go! A rematch between two deities and two brothers! God of Mischief versus God of Thunder! Who will prevail!?" Present Mic announced.
Aizawa grumbled, "You really need to pipe down, Mic."
"You better have improved from your last fight, Loki." Dabi said hopefully.
01:44:02 - 01:44:14
While the audience was watching the fight between two gods, a few of them noticed their fighting styles and thought they were unique. Thor fights in a reactionary and careful manner, striking his opponent at the right moment, whereas Loki uses theatrics and the momentum of the scepter. It was fascinating to see different fighting styles collide with one another. Due to the tense situation, they didn't think about it much in the fourth story.
Ojiro and Kendo are hoping that Midoriya records the fighting styles of the brother gods so that they can learn about them in the future in case they face stronger or more agile villains, and Yaoyorozu wants to learn Loki's skills so that she can improve her bo staff fighting style. Meanwhile, Kaminari was perplexed as to why Thor wasn't using his lightning to defeat Loki.
01:44:14 - 01:44:23
"Man, there's already so much chaos within minutes." Kirishima said. "I can't imagine seeing this much destruction in the future."
"You'll have to eventually, kid. There's going to be a war incoming. I can feel it with my feathers." Hawks said.
"Where are the other heroes!?" Vlad asked angrily. "They're late!"
01:44:23 - 01:44:30
Vlad sighed in relief, "Finally! They're here!"
"It took them long enough and I agree with Stark. Did they stop at the drive-thru or something?" Tokage asked with an annoyed tone.
"Just be glad that they've arrived to help. Iron Man doesn't need to handle an army of Chitauri all by himself anymore." Amajiki said.
01:44:30 - 01:44:48
"Good. Iron Man led the Chitauri in front of the Quinjet so Black Widow or Hawkeye could mow them down with the turrets." Aizawa approved the plan. "It seems that their teamwork is starting to be an improvement now."
"Yeah, I'm quite surprised they can work together in a short amount of time." Cementoss said. "Not even the students could work together like that."
"Please don't humiliate us, sir…" Kirishima and Sato said in unison while lowering their heads after remembering the embarrassment of rushing towards the teacher head on instead of planning something.
01:44:48 - 01:44:53
"So Iron Man is keeping the Chitauri away from the civilians by being the bait. Manly!" Tetsutetsu complimented the armored hero.
"Yeah, he is essentially the worm while the aliens are the fishes. It's very heroic of him!" Iida agreed.
Shigaraki scoffed, "His overconfidence will be the death of him."
01:44:53 - 01:45:09
"No!" Tsunotori shouted worriedly when Loki destroyed the Quinjet with the scepter
"They'll be fine, Pony. They're just going to crash on the ground safely, but roughly." Honenuki reassured his classmate.
"And it's such a waste too. The Quinjet was helpful for dealing damage against the Chitauri." Makoto said.
"You're right, but it's also risky to use firearms. They might end up killing civilians in the process." Naomasa was glad that the Quinjet was out of commission in the fight.
01:45:09 - 01:45:20
"Damn, Thor is beating the crap out of Loki. His bloodlust AND anger is definitely showing here!" Kirishima pointed out excitedly.
"Tsk. You're losing to your brother yet again, Loki? Seriously?" Dabi was slightly disappointed that Loki is losing in physical combat to his brother again.
"What did you expect? Thor is much physically stronger than Loki." Spinner pointed out the obvious. "Loki is a cunning and deceitful warrior rather than a fierce one. He's obviously gonna have a disadvantage against Thor. Plus, he doesn't have Odin's spear in his hands anymore."
Dabi glared at his turtle ally, "Did I ask?"
"Oooh~ snap~" Toga said teasingly, much to Spinner's annoyance.
01:45:20 - 01:45:49
"Yeah. They really need to if they want to deactivate the Tesseract, but I prefer if the three of you stayed back on the ground to help the people. The Tesseract can wait after the people are safe." Thirteen suggested.
"But more Chitauri will come. The heroes, and eventually the entire world, would be overwhelmed by the army if they don't close the portal soon." Cementoss said. "It's best if Hawkeye and Black Widow are sent up to the tower to figure out a way to somehow destroy the barrier while Captain America stays behind to save the people."
"That's honestly a good idea. Nice one, Cementoss." Ectoplasm complimented Cementoss.
"Damn, the teachers are really good. There's so much we have to learn, everyone." Iida said eagerly.
"Well, they are Pro Heroes after all. They're experienced in this sort of thing, ribbit." Asui reminded him.
01:45:49 - 01:46:20
The audience were bewildered, horrified, and amazed by the sight of giant eel-like Chitauri floating in the sky. The children were covering themselves behind their guardians due to the horrific and terrifying sight while the villains, mostly All For One, were impressed by the monstrosity. The heroes, on the other hand, were immensely worried that the people inside the buildings weren't safe anymore as it could simply float through them without any effort, while at the same time, questioning its existence and laws of physics.
"What the f*ck is that!?" Mineta asked while mentally pissing his pants.
"The Leviathan." Kiddo answered with an intimidating tone before bursting into laughter in his mind. 'And to think their original name was supposed to be Jumbos back then.'
"Well, that isn't ominous at all." Shoda said before remembering the name. "Hey, Shiozaki. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there a creature called 'Leviathan' in the Bible?"
Shiozaki nodded, "You're correct. The Leviathan is described in Psalms 74:14 as a multi-headed sea serpent that God slayed and feeds to the Hebrews in the wilderness. In Isaiah 27:1, Leviathan is a serpent who represents Israel's enemies and is slain by God. I'm guessing that's where this filthy beast got its name from."
"I still don't know how you managed to memorize the ENTIRE Bible. You're really dedicated to your religion. I'm honestly impressed." Tokage complimented her religious classmate.
"Hmm… Garaki would certainly love to experiment on that thing. It might be helpful for his Nomu research." All For One said.
"It really is, the problem is its size. It's impossible to move it in day or night because the heroes would spot it." Kurogiri said.
"I know, but the Leviathan is just quite impressive and probably strong enough to take hits from the Nomu. Its skin and armor would be definitely helpful for the Nomu." All For One said.
01:46:20 - 01:46:37
"What!? It's spewing out foot soldiers!? That's great news!" Mineta exclaimed sarcastically.
"This is bad. It's already hard enough dealing with the air units, and now, the heroes have to deal with the surface threats." All Might said. "This is tough for only six heroes."
"Especially when the other two 'heroes' are Quirkless." Bakugo pointed out, as everyone stared at him. "What!? I'm merely pointing out that they can't handle all of the f*cking Chitauri because they have limits compared to Captain America or Thor!"
"Whatever you say, Bakugo." Uraraka said.
"It looks like Captain America, Black Widow, and Hawkeye aren't going up the Stark Tower for now." Mr. Compress said.
01:46:37 - 01:46:43
"Well, you aren't the only one." Sato agreed that it's still hard to believe that the Chitauri Leviathan existed.
"You know, I wonder if you can speak to the Leviathan, Koda." Sero wondered. "Can you?"
"I'm not sure. It may look like an animal, but I don't know if I can speak to it because it's a different animal from a different planet." Koda answered.
'Wow. He's talkative now.' Jiro pointed out mentally.
01:46:43 - 01:46:47
"Does Stark really think that Banner is coming to help?" Shigaraki asked before rolling his eyes. "I suppose he doesn't care when a 'monster' wreaks havoc on the city now."
"That isn't what he thinks, Shigaraki. He simply believes that Banner will come to help." All Might said confidently. "And I'm pretty sure he needed the raging alter ego in order to kill the Leviathan."
"Brucey shouldn't help them… they owe him nothing…" Toga is conflicted whether Banner and Hulk should help the heroes or not because they saw them as monsters earlier, except for Stark who treated him like a normal person. 'But if Brucey and Hulky help them… would they finally be considered as heroes…? No… the people will fear them instead… there's no way they'll accept them…'
01:46:47 - 01:46:52
"Yeah, good luck in finding that thing's weak spot." Jiro said.
"And I doubt there's a soft part on the Leviathan. I can tell that its hide is nearly impenetrable." Koda said, as everyone stared at him. "I have studied the biology of animals since I was a kid. I can tell when an animal has a tough hide or not."
01:46:52 - 01:47:10
"He's getting through him…" Tsuburaba said.
"Come on, Loki. Just snapped out of it. Listen to your brother." Pixie-Bob begged, hoping that there's still a chance of redemption for Loki.
"Yeah, both of you can go back into being a family again!" Hagakure agreed.
Dabi smirked, "Fools."
01:47:10 - 01:47:17
"NO!" Pixie-Bob shouted.
Ojiro facepalmed, "You've got to be kidding me."
"That was a dirty trick! Not funny, man!" Kaminari complained, along with everybody else.
"What did you fools expect from a God of 'Mischief'? You really think that he would simply give up his conquest? That's hilarious." Dabi said, holding back his laughter at the heroes' naivety.
"This is a lesson for you, class. Don't expect that you fully convinced the villains, and definitely don't lower your guard like the thunder god. Your career would end before it even began. Understand?" Aizawa said.
"Yes, sir!" All the students responded.
01:47:17 - 01:47:36
"Coward." Yanagi insulted Loki.
"It was a tactical retreat. He has to lead an army in case you forgot." Dabi reminded everyone.
"It was an act of cowardice nonetheless." Shoto agreed with the Class 1-B student.
01:47:36 - 01:47:41
Recovery Girl sighed in relief, "It seems Thor is fine. The knife didn't seem to hit his vital organs. It would've been disastrous if it was whether he's a god or not."
"But he seems a little tired. I guess he hasn't been resting for a few days. He must've been stressed by his psychopath little brother." Nejire said. "He needs a lot of rest after this."
"That is probably nothing for Thor. He is a natural born warrior, so he'll keep pushing himself to the limits." Kaminari said. "Heck, he probably fought an entire army for forty days and forty nights without any rest in the past. That's the definition of badass."
"I guess you're a fan of Thor now." Jiro said teasingly.
"He's an inspiration. My Quirk will reach his level in the future." Kaminari said while blushing in embarrassment.
01:47:41 - 01:48:00
The heroes growled and glared at Loki angrily, as he continues causing destruction with the hover vehicle and energy blast alongside with an army behind him. They were reminded about the Hosu Incident after witnessing the scene, but this incident was way worse than the former. Shigaraki was quite jealous that Loki was able to turn New York into a battlefield within a few minutes while the Nomus took time due to the numerous heroes patrolling in the area.
01:48:00 - 01:48:21
"Woah! That was interesting." Snipe was fascinated by the arrow's mechanism as it was able to release miniature bullets from the arrowhead at the Chitauri.
"The tech may look slightly inferior to others, but it is nonetheless an awesome baby! How many trick arrows does he have!?" Hatsume was slightly interested to know more about the variety of arrows while planning to make them in the Apocalyptic Workshop.
"The bow also has buttons that equips the shaft with the arrowheads he wants to use. I hope one of the arrows isn't too dangerous though." Melissa said. "I'm kind of worried that he'll be killed by an explosive arrow or something, similar to how an enemy could destroy the flamethrower tank and kill the wearer in World War II."
"Well, that's worrying." Shinso said. "But still, I didn't think a primitive weapon could be used like this. I don't think anyone has thought of implementing something neat to the arrows."
"I wonder if I could replicate them with Quirk. It'll be useful for me in case I fight a strong or agile villain in the future." Yaoyorozu noted down her new goal.
'They're seriously making big deals out of f*cking arrows? I can destroy them easily!' Bakugo declared proudly.
01:48:21 - 01:48:31
"That was an impressive flip from Captain America." Ojiro complimented him. "He used the momentum of the flipping car to vault himself forward before correcting his landing with a flip."
"Yeah. Despite the ridiculousness of the costume, it doesn't take away his skills." Midoriya said. "I guess frozen in the ice for 70 years didn't hinder them."
"But where is he going? Is he going to help the civilians?" Bondo asked curiously.
"I'm not sure, but he must've a good plan. He always has." Kendo answered.
01:48:31 - 01:48:43
"I'm glad that the heroes aren't just fighting the villains. They must also prioritize helping the people." Thirteen said. "See, class? I don't see the difficulties of fighting the villains while rescuing the people at the same time. Black Widow is providing cover with a fast-pacing firearm while Hawkeye focuses on saving the people from the bus."
"I can't believe we were compared to Quirkless heroes who worked more effectively than us. This is a bit… embarrassing." Shoto said while closing his eyes.
"Yeah, their teamwork is efficient. I can see why the Quirkless people can have advantage against us. They don't rely on unnatural power, but their skills." Jiro said.
Bakugo grumbled, 'This is getting ridiculous.'
01:48:43 - 01:48:50
"For Quirkless people, they are really handling the alien invasion pretty well." Nejire complimented Black Widow and Hawkeye. "I'm sure that Pro Heroes would even struggle against that many horrifying and disgusting creatures."
"You're not wrong. I don't think I would've lasted long against them." Tiger agreed. "I'm really impressed with these heroes. They don't have Quirks, but they're putting in more effort than the students. What a shame."
"Don't say it out loud!" Mineta yelled at him.
"Also, was Budapest her previous mission or something?" Awase questioned. "What in the world happened in Budapest that an alien invasion would remind her of?"
"Probably a similar event as this, except on a lesser scale." Yaoyorozu wondered if Black Widow and Hawkeye were chased by several assassins or government agents in that country, hence why the alien invasion reminded Black Widow of that event.
01:48:50 - 01:49:13
"I'm surprised that police officers are taking part in the invasion, but why are they standing still and panicking? Do they not know what to do, brother?" Makoto asked sincerely.
"I don't blame them. The sudden alien invasion is too much for them. They have no idea what they're doing because they aren't trained to deal with extraterrestrial threats." Naomasa answered. "Also, Pro Heroes are the ones supposed to deal with these types of threats while the Police Force are the ones arresting the villains back to an ordinary prison cell or Tartarus."
"You guys really need to train your law enforcers against villains. You can't just simply rely on Pro Heroes to deal with the villains. A lot of people might die before the heroes could stop them." Kiddo suggested the idea while eating popcorn.
"After witnessing this, I guarantee that I'll be talking to the hero committee and government to train the law enforcers to deal with the villains as well." Nezu declared, which made the detective smile.
01:49:13 - 01:49:25
"That was a splendid instruction and rescue work you gave, captain." Thirteen complimented the star-spangled hero. "If he were my student, he would've passed with flying colors."
"This also shows that the super soldier serum isn't his main superpower. It's his aura of leadership. He calculates the plan whether it's fighting against the villains or helping the civilians. This is the most vital part in hero work." Aizawa said before staring at the students. "I suggest you remember this class. It'll be helpful when you become fully fledged Pro Heroes. Understand?"
"Yes, sir!" All the students responded.
01:49:25 - 01:49:28
"Uh… because he knows what he's doing? Duh." Makoto answered mockingly.
"It's hard to follow the orders from a guy who is wearing a bright blue spandex in an alien invasion." Naomasa defended the police officers. "And the fact they don't know who he is."
Hagakure raised her eyebrow, "Huh? They don't know who Captain America is or something? Isn't he a legendary icon in this reality? They should recognize the costume."
"Will they believe that a legendary soldier from WWII is alive in the modern era? I don't think so. They probably assume that he's a weird cosplayer." Shoto said.
"He really shouldn't have worn the horrendous costume. These law enforcers would've taken him a bit seriously." Spinner said, as everyone glared at him for insulting the late agent's costume. "No offense to Agent Coulson. I'm just speaking facts."
01:49:28 - 01:49:40
"That was epic and manly!" Kirishima exclaimed happily.
"It really was. He took them out swiftly and effortlessly." Tokage agreed wholeheartedly.
"That indestructible shield is really helpful in a fight. I wish I had it." Yaoyorozu wished to own a vibranium shield in order to fight against toughest villains. If only she knew about the vibranium's components to make it. This is one of the moments where she wished her Creation Quirk isn't logical like Hulk or Thor.
01:49:40 - 01:49:47
Most of the audience burst into laughter when the police chief followed the orders immediately after Captain America displayed his seriousness against the Chitauri. Naomasa even found it funny because it wouldn't be the first time that an officer would follow a hero's instructions until the hero displayed seriousness in a fight. They were a newbie officer who was working in the same station as him.
Makoto chuckled, "Well, that's one way to convince the men in blue."
"Action speaks louder than words, as most people say." Shinso said.
"And it's even more hilarious that Captain America doesn't say anything after that. I would've thought he would beg the officers to listen to him, but his presence and intimidation must've pissed their pants." Kaminari said.
"…I don't really feel intimidated by a guy wearing bright blue spandex." Mr. Compress said while shuffling the cards.
01:49:47 - 01:50:02
Nejire chuckled, "Iron Man is literally just improvising on the battlefield unlike Captain America. It just shows how different they are."
"Yeah, but what is he going to do with the Leviathan now? Is he just going to let it follow him constantly?" Sero asked curiously.
"For now, he's simply going to lead it away from the buildings to avoid crashing through them or sending the Chitauri into them." Yaoyorozu said. "I guess that was his Step One. He just needs to think of Step Two, which is how to kill the flying beast."
01:50:02 - 01:50:18
"Damn, Black Widow and Hawkeye are really handling the situation very well for ordinary humans." Vlad said. "I thought it was foolish to send them to battlefield when their specialty is assassination and spying, but I underestimated them."
"It just shows that a powerless individual can combat the ones with power given time." All Might said before looking at Midoriya. 'If Midoriya didn't demonstrate his heroism, I might've agreed with Vlad about these two agents fighting in the frontlines.'
"But compared to other heroes, they're probably the ones who feel pain the most, yet that doesn't stop them to the point of surrendering." Midnight said.
'The teachers are even acknowledging them?' Bakugo questioned the teachers. 'Are these two really heroes in their eyes? Really!?'
"I want to learn more martial arts techniques now." Uraraka said.
"You should go to my dojo. It may help you." Ojiro offered his help.
Midoriya was in tears of joy that Black Widow and Hawkeye were praised by the Pro Heroes, who all probably had a thought that Quirkless people are unable to become heroes until they witnessed these two agents. All the insults and taunts over the years of him becoming a Quirkless Hero seemed pointless now. While Captain America reminded his present self, Black Widow and Hawkeye reminded his past. Together combined, he essentially became who he is today.
Meanwhile, Melissa wondered if she could've used her technology to aid her in becoming a hero. Over the course of previous stories, she had always thought that she shouldn't have given up on her previous dream of becoming a hero. She could've built a suit similar to Iron Man or learned hand-to-hand combat and wield an advanced bow 'n arrow. It's too late to turn back now, but it was fun to think about what her career could've been.
01:50:18 - 01:50:23
"Nice save, captain!" Mirio complimented the star-spangled hero.
"Yeah, I guess he went back to help immediately after giving orders to the hardheaded and hilarious Police Force." Makoto said teasingly, much to her brother's annoyance.
01:50:23 - 01:50:30
"And Thor zapped the remaining Chitauri!" Kaminari cheered. "Nice save, Your Highness."
"You're calling him that now? Is he your prince, duncehead?" Jiro asked teasingly.
"Ha Ha. Very funny." Kaminari said sarcastically.
"It seems the gang's all here, except for Iron Man who is currently busy dealing with the Leviathan." Melissa said.
"And Banner who hasn't shown up yet." Shishida added.
'He won't show up. Don't count on it.' Toga said 'confidently'.
01:50:30 - 01:50:38
"Oh yeah! Teamwork makes the dream work!" Nejire cheered.
Sero stared at Bakugo, "I don't think the pomeranian would agree with you, even though he has a remarkable leadership."
"Did you just insult me, tape face!?" Bakugo asked angrily, as his classmates sighed and wondered how he was a 'good' leader during the team battle against Class 1-B.
01:50:38 - 01:50:42
"Yeah, Thor! Barton will have to deal with your little brother first after everything he did to him!" Tetsutetsu exclaimed.
"Barton did suffer psychological damage from Loki. I would've sought revenge too if I was in his place… ironically." Shinso agreed that Barton should deal some damage to Loki first before Thor.
"That isn't important right now. Both of them must focus on the mission first, which is to somehow close the portal and stop the invasion. They're going to reach their limits very soon." Aizawa said.
01:50:42 - 01:50:47
"That's true. Since Loki is focusing his army on the Avengers because they're a major threat, most of the Chitauri wouldn't run rampant across the city." Ectoplasm agreed with the captain. "It's best to leave Loki until the portal is somehow destroyed and minimize the army."
"Saving the last boss for last. Just like every RPG game ever." Shigaraki pointed out the similarities from the heroes' plan.
01:50:47 - 01:50:52
"Banner. He finally arrived. It took him long enough though." Uraraka said, slightly worrying that Banner transforming into the Hulk would be a bad idea.
"With Hulk by their side, it'll definitely turn the tide." Midoriya said, sharing the same worries as Uraraka. "Let's just hope he doesn't kill innocent civilians or attack the heroes due to his rage."
"…Brucey really arrived there to help. He could've just ignored the battle and do whatever… he wants…" Toga said quietly in disbelief.
"It wouldn't be the first time Banner didn't turn a blind eye on the fight. He offered himself to turn into Hulk in order to stop Abomination despite his hatred for the green beast." Mr. Compress reminded her.
01:50:52 - 01:51:07
"I'm surprised that Black Widow got over her fear of Hulk within a day. I guess she is a reliable spy for a reason." Uraraka was glad that Black Widow isn't afraid of Hulk anymore.
"In battle, you must overcome your fear. You can't let that emotion cloud your judgement." Cementoss said.
"Come on. I want to see Hulk once again." Shigaraki was eager to witness the raging beast again.
01:51:07 - 01:51:22
"Yeah, that doesn't look like a party." Ashido pointed out when the Leviathan was flying in their direction thanks to Iron Man guiding it.
"What are you talking about? It's a FREAKING party!" Bakugo exclaimed excitedly.
"Anyway, it seems Iron Man is relying on Banner to fight the Leviathan as Hulk." Shishida said. "I guess this is the perfect opportunity for him to… suit up."
"This is where the fun begins." Mr. Compress said excitedly.
01:51:22 - 01:51:52
"That was an epic line and…!" Kirishima exclaimed cheerfully.
"…a manly punch!" Tetsutetsu continued the sentence.
"Damn. I knew Hulk was powerful, but the fact he damaged the Leviathan a lot with a single punch is unfathomable." Sato said. "I don't think even All Might could damage it without using all of his strength."
"I agree, young Sato. I would've had to use at least fifty percent of my strength to kill one Leviathan, but Hulk did it effortlessly." All Might agreed with his student.
"No wonder why Bakugo was injured by Hulk." Kaminari said teasingly.
"Shut up!" Bakugo ordered angrily.
"But I'm worried that Hulk will attack the heroes." Uraraka said worriedly.
"Like in the second story, Banner seems to influence the Hulk via subconscious by aiming at the specific target instead of the allies. I don't think Hulk will be a danger to the Avengers." Midoriya said.
"Is that so? Then from day on, Hulk is officially a member of the Avengers. He has now become a Pro Hero in that reality." Kurogiri said before staring at the yandere girl. "Are you disappointed, Toga?"
"I don't know. It isn't possible… for a villain to become a hero…" Toga was reluctant to be happy for Banner and Hulk because they're heroes now. She is, however, confident that the public wouldn't acknowledge them one after the Harlem Incident.
"Oh ho. I can hear the music coming in." Jiro pointed out.
"It's going to be… epic!" Kaminari exclaimed.
01:51:52 - 01:52:23
The audience erupted in joy, as the screen circled each member of the Avengers, Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Kirishima and Tetsutetsu roared with Hulk, Snipe was ecstatic when Hawkeye drew an arrow and aimed at the aliens, Kaminari felt lightning coursing through his veins when Thor raised his hammer, Uraraka felt a biting sensation when Black Widow cocked her gun, Midoriya was in tears when Captain America readied his shield, and finally, Hatsume cheered loudly for Iron Man. And best of all, they all felt powerful when the music theme played while they felt goosebumps and shivers down their spines.
"THIS IS…!" Kaminari and Sero exclaimed excitedly.
"…THE GREATEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED!" Kendo and Tokage added excitedly.
"AWESOME!" Katsuma and Eri joined in. "SO COOL!"
"This is an amazing hero shot of the ages!" Midoriya couldn't contain her excitement, as his hands were shaking tremendously from excitement which enabled him to draw the heroic circle shot.
"Yeah, heroes that we've known beforehand from their stories. They are now standing side by side together to face a common threat." Iida said.
"The Armored Knight, The Legendary Soldier, The Raging Beast, The Viking God, The Shadow Spy, and The Precision Archer." Shoto gave each hero a perfect nickname based on their strongest skills and already existing ones. "These heroes are special from one another, but they all have something in common. They are the Earth's Mightiest Heroes."
"All six of them assembled in New York for the very first time to combat the extraterrestrial invaders sent by the trickster deity." All Might said. "The Age of Heroes… has officially begun."
"United They Stand, Divided They Fall." Tokoyami quoted. "Go Beyond, Plus Ultra."
Kendo chuckled, "It's kind of weird that Hawkeye is a member of the Avengers. He only appeared briefly in Thor and he was a minor antagonist of this story, so it's odd to see him being a part of the superhero squad."
"Yeah, but he is remarkable as everybody else is. His precision ability stands out more than the rest." Snipe said.
"It's honestly more odd that an ancient deity like Thor joined a group of mortals. This must be his first time working with the ones whose ancestors probably worshipped him in the past." Yaoyorozu pointed out.
"Yeah, that is indeed weird." Shoto agreed. "Their ancestors must be jealous that their descendants get to fight side-by-side with their god instead of them."
"And it's hilarious that Iron Man didn't want to join the super secret boy band at first. Now, he became a founding member of the Avengers." Shoji reminded everyone. "He came a long way from being a narcissistic billionaire playboy."
"Everyone changes eventually." Ojiro said.
"It's also bizarre that Hulk became a founding member as well when he was… basically a villain in his own story." Midnight said. "What do you think, Vlad? You despise Hulk, don't you?"
Vlad scoffed, "It's risky to have a destructive villain like Hulk in a team… but I suppose he is helpful in a fight. He still needs to stand trial though for all the people he killed whether it was accidental or intentional."
"I guess you're still not over that yet." Thirteen said.
Meanwhile, the villains couldn't admit that it was indeed an epic scene. Spinner may have deemed everyone, except Captain America, false heroes but all of them felt heroic in that brief moment. Toga was slightly happy that Hulk became a hero, but she is still confident that nobody would treat him as one. Shigaraki and Dabi still have hatred for Iron Man and Thor, but they secretly admit that it was indeed an amazing scene.
"I'm gonna admit. This is probably the best hero shot I've ever seen." Spinner admitted before silently apologizing to Stain due to his eyes being blinded by the awesomeness.
"You're not the only one, Spinner. This is… magical." Mr. Compress said.
"Hulky…" Toga said.
'A deity working side by side with the mortals to stop his younger brother. This is the exact opposite of me and Yoichi.' All For One realized that the brother gods' stories are similar to him and his brother. 'It's a waste for a powerful god like Thor to work with measly humans, then again, I'm currently depending on the villains to achieve my goal of becoming a god of my world.'
01:52:23 - 01:52:32
"You've got to be kidding me. There are two more!?"
"Yeah!" Tsuburaba agreed. "They already struggled dealing with ONE Leviathan, and now they have to deal with TWO!?"
"Cut off one head, two more shall take its place." Twice the quote from the previous story. "I guess Red Skull wasn't exaggerating. HE TOTALLY WAS!"
"Expect the unexpected." Aizawa quoted. "You'll never know who you'll face."
01:52:32 - 01:52:47
"That's a good plan. Hawkeye has amazing eyesight, so with a high vantage point, he can see everything in the battlefield. He could also inform the heroes about the enemies' location or a hostage situation." Snipe said. "He's basically a sniper in video games, but he uses a bow instead."
"Wow. To think an extra character is important in the team. Isn't that right, Bakugo?" Kaminari teased the hotheaded boy.
"I suggest you stay quiet, zaphead." Bakugo threatened Kaminari 'calmly'. 'To think Hawkeye is a Quirkless hero. Can the Quirkless really become a hero? Could Deku… actually become a hero before having One For All…?'
"And with Iron Man, he can fly and maneuver through the sky. He'll have to guide the enemy flyers back before they'll go too far from the city. He has to prevent them from invading other neighborhood cities." Yaoyorozu said.
"Neat. I would've the same thing as well." Hawks approved the plan. 'Huh. I wonder who is faster. Me or Iron Man?'
01:52:47 - 01:52:53
"Legolas?" Awase questioned before realizing the obvious similarity. "Oh right, it's because both of them are archers."
"Did someone play a Legolas parody in your play?" Jiro asked curiously.
"Unfortunately, no. We wrote a lot of stuff for our play with parodies of characters from Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings, so we somehow forgot our own version of Legolas." Shoda answered. "And we didn't have time to rewrite it because of limited practice."
"And the fact that all of us were already familiar with the chosen characters we played as." Awase added.
"I didn't expect the process of writing a script to be the same as music." Kaminari admitted.
"What in the world are these kids talking about?" Mr. Compress asked curiously.
"Some kind of play or something. I don't know. I was never interested in this type of stuff." Toga answered.
01:52:53 - 01:53:02
"Oh yeah, he's gonna bring the lightning!" Kaminari shouted excitedly.
"A wise plan." Iida agreed with the plan. "The heroes will be overwhelmed by the Chitauri if more goes through the portal, so it's best for Thor to briefly halt them from descending into Earth."
"It'll certainly give the heroes a break." Tiger said. "We may be going beyond, but all of us have limits eventually. It's best for the heroes to catch a breath before continuing the fight."
01:53:02 - 01:53:04
"Yet another wise plan." Midoriya agreed with the captain's plan. "Since Captain America and Black Widow are close quarter combatants, it's best for them to fight the Chitauri on the ground to lure them while staying close to the Stark Tower in case they have a plan to shut down the portal."
"And maybe rescue some other people if Hawkeye spotted them being in danger by the Chitauri." Shoto added.
"Man, you guys are crazy with these plans." Kirishima pointed out. "Awesome!"
"It looks like they're growing." Nezu said.
Aizawa slightly smiled, "They really are."
01:53:04 - 01:53:11
Midoriya and All Might perked up when Captain America ordered Hulk to 'smash' the aliens, which formed a smile on their faces, while Shigaraki wished that the legendary soldier didn't utter that word ever again.
"Oh-ho-ho. The space lizards are definitely in trouble now!" Tetsutetsu exclaimed excitedly while smiling.
"Yes, smash those bugs!" Kirishima agreed.
"It's time to see the destructiveness from Hulk once again." Shigaraki said, slightly excited that Hulk is going to cause a lot of property damage even though he's officially a hero now.
Dabi stared at Toga, "Are you excited, Toga? Your favorite 'hero' is going to shine."
"…" Toga remained silent while still having mixed feelings about Hulk being a hero when he is treated as a villain in that reality.
"Captain America, an enhanced human, is ordering a god and a beast as if they were soldiers. He is built differently." Ojiro pointed out.
"That's what makes him different from other humans. He's a legend." Midoriya said.
01:53:11 - 01:53:25
"Holy moly! He's smashing through them as if they're paper!" Kamikiri exclaimed.
"It's a bit worrying that he is 'smashing' wherever he goes without any consequences because there may be people that would be crushed by the rubble, but at this point, it's best to unleash the beast in order to stop the aliens without wasting any time." All Might said.
"I think Captain Rogers should've told him to be careful with the smashing part." Aizawa criticized the one flaw. "But other than that, he is indeed useful in dealing with a massive army such as this."
'So they only see him as a tool? As expected of heroes. Why was Hulk willing to join them?' Toga asked mentally, trying to deny that Hulk should've remained a villain.
01:53:25 - 01:53:58
"Holy sh*t! That's probably the biggest lightning blast in the history of lightning!" Kaminari shouted happily when Thor struck the incoming Chitauri with lightning.
'Eh, not even close.' Kiddo said mentally.
"He used the Empire State Building as a lightning rod to draw more power from the sky before unleashing the deadliest lightning blast at the uglies." Midoriya analyzed the unofficial Ultimate Move.
"And the lightning blasts absolutely demolished two Leviathans! That's an impressive feat that Pro Heroes with Electrification could barely pull off with their Quirk!" Yaoyorozu was shocked at the powerful lightning. "Thor is indeed a God of Thunder."
"Hey, I'll someday pull it! Mark my words!" Kaminari declared that he'll surpass Thor in the future.
"I guess he isn't an 'all brawns and no brains' type of guy anymore." Shoto pointed out.
01:53:58 - 01:54:11
"Something tells me the Council doesn't have any good news." Nejire said.
"After trying to recruit Abomination to the team? They sure hell don't." Dabi reminded everyone.
Aizawa grumbled, "What are they going to say now? It better not be pointless."
01:54:11 - 01:54:22
There were many shocked and surprised expressions on everyone's face after Hawkeye shot the flying Chitauri without looking at them. It was an unbelievable skill to the point they considered his precision a Quirk or something.
"Clint Barton, also known as The Bow Hero: Hawkeye!" Present Mic announced. "Quirk: Quirkless! He may be Quirkless, but he is extremely skilled in wielding both conventional firearms and archery bows with unerring accuracy due to his keen eyesight and impeccable hand-eye coordination! He is considered as the World's Greatest Marksman in that reality!"
"What an unbelievable skill. He doesn't even need a Quirk to shoot at the Chitauri accurately." Snipe then looked at his hands. "I guess I really need to train without using my Quirk. I don't consider myself as the greatest marksman after seeing him doing all that stuff."
"Don't be down, Snipe. Hawkeye would have used your Quirk if he was born with it." Midnight cheered her fellow hero. "Hawkeye. I can get behind with the codename. I just think something better would be suited for him."
All Might raised his eyebrow, "What would that be?"
"I don't know. Maybe Hawkshot? A mixture of hawk and hotshot." Midnight answered.
"Eh. Hawkeye suits him more." Hawks gave his opinion about the new name.
"Wow. An extra character is certainly helpful, am I right, Bakugo?" Kaminari asked teasingly.
Bakugo gritted his teeth, 'Shut up, pikachu!'
"Anyway, Barton is really reliable in this situation. He analyzed the Chitauri and their weaknesses, such as that they're flying at incredibly high speed so Iron Man could lead them to tight corners and buildings. They'll certainly crash and explode." Yaoyorozu said.
"Yeah, Loki should've ordered them to slow down and take their time to conquer one city." Iida suggested, as everyone stared at him. "Not that I agree."
Meanwhile, Midoriya wrote Hawkeye's first name in his notebook. He didn't expect the name to be common for the greatest archer, but then again, Steve and Bruce are common as well. He still couldn't believe that a Quirkless hero is getting recognition from Pro Heroes. He wondered if he was a Quirkless hero in another universe, probably wielding a bow or something.
01:54:22 - 01:54:40
"Damn, Iron Man is indeed fast and insane at the same time." Hawks said before chuckling at the thought. "It's a bit embarrassing that a man-made armored suit can match the speed of my flight. I guess I need to go beyond when we go back home."
"He's a tech genius, Hawks." Power Loader reminded him. "He'll probably have an Iron Man suit that surpasses your flight speed in the future."
"I don't doubt it." Hawks agreed.
"What kind of trick arrow did Hawkeye use?" Kodai asked curiously. "It seems to be the type that melts anything metal."
"I guess it's something like that." Yaoyorozu agreed. "His trick arrows are really helpful in this battle. I guess that's what makes them different from the usual primitive ones."
"But eventually, he'll run out soon. His arrows are limited." Shoto pointed out. "The battle needs to end fast, otherwise, he's going to be powerless and outmatched."
01:54:40 - 01:55:02
"You have your own turf to defend, Stark. Let Thor and others have some fun with theirs." Kirishima said.
"I don't think that's important right now." Yaoyorozu said. "It doesn't matter who has the most kills. It's important for them to end the fight quickly before more people will be hurt."
"Yeah, but it's kind of fun to count your kills. Legolas and Gimli were doing in The Lord of the Rings film adaptation." Tetsutetsu defend Kirishima.
01:55:02 - 01:55:26
"Yeah, Mr. Hulk saved the people!" Eri cheered.
Mirio smiled, "He really is."
"It's honestly weird seeing Hulk acting like a hero when his actions in the second story are… well." Tokage said.
"Same, but I guess he isn't entirely evil compared to other villains. He was just… lost." Iida said.
"If Hulk thinks he's a hero, then he should lessen the collateral damage. He is doing more damage than the Chitauri." Vlad said with a slight anger tone, which his colleagues noticed.
"It's kind of hard for the not-so jolly green giant to avoid collateral damage when he's like a feral animal, Vlad." All Might defended Hulk. "And Stark has the money anyway. He can pay for the damages that Hulk caused."
Vlad sighed, "Fine. Whatever."
Shigaraki scoffed, "He's a damn cheater."
"So Hulk has chosen the path of the hero. He's probably the first ever villain I've heard to do so." Kurogiri said.
"They only see him as a tool. There's no way people are going to see him as a hero." Toga was still in disbelief that nobody would treat Hulk as a hero, even the ones he saved inside the building.
01:55:26 - 01:55:46
"Yeah, the battle is pointless if the trickster god still has numerous aliens at his disposal." Melissa said. "They need to find a way to close it fast."
"Agreed. Most of the heroes are probably getting exhausted. Look at Black Widow." Shinso pointed out. "You can tell that she's definitely tired."
"Isn't Thor supposed to block the portal to prevent the Chitauri from going through?" Jiro asked.
"He's probably focusing on the Leviathans rather than the small ones." Yaoyorozu answered. "And his Quirk will probably diminish briefly if he uses it too much."
01:55:46 - 01:56:00
"Wait a minute. Is she doing what I think she's doing?" Komori asked.
"Oh yeah, she definitely is." Ojiro answered.
"Isn't that risky though?" Komori was worried for Black Widow.
01:56:00 - 01:56:10
"Whooo! That was awesome! And she got a ride!" Ashido exclaimed happily.
Recovery Girl sighed in relief, "That was risky. If she miscalculated, she would've fallen from a great height and her entire bones would have probably broken. Or if those flyers flew through her, she would've become a puddle of blood while the remaining organs and bones fell on the ground."
Ashido gulped, "I didn't need to hear that!"
"I'm sure Black Widow calculated her moves before executing the action, Recovery Girl." Ectoplasm reassured her. "And now, she'll have to make her way to the Stark Tower."
"But Captain America will have to fight the Chitauri alone." Katsuma pointed out.
"He'll be fine. He's a super soldier." Midoriya 'reassured' the little boy.
01:56:10 - 01:56:36
"Man, she's struggling steering with that thing." Kirishima said. "I never thought that those aliens were actually balancing themselves to prevent them from falling."
"Yeah. They have advanced technology, but the design is horrible." Melissa analyzed the vehicle. "If I have their technology, I could upgrade it into something that is safe for everyone to stand or sit on."
"Kinky. I would love her to ride on m-!" Mineta was slapped by Asui with her tongue instantly.
01:56:36 - 01:56:52
The entire audience were getting goosebumps when Captain America and Iron Man executed a team move at the Chitauri. It was amazingly epic. The heroes were impressed that both of them coordinated together so well when they didn't do any practice beforehand unlike them and the students.
"That was amazing! The repulsor beams reflect from the shield due to its indestructibility. I never thought of that team move." Midoriya wrote down the team move.
"Yeah, they came up with an Ultimate Move together while the rest of us were struggling to discover one, except for Bakugo." Kaminari said.
"That's because I understand my Quirk better!" Bakugo exclaimed.
"The fact that both of them came up with an Ultimate Move on the spot shows that they're professional heroes." Asui said.
"Hmm… I guess we should've made them develop Ultimate Moves by fighting the combat robots. It would've probably been faster." Ectoplasm said.
"You're right, but we couldn't afford to let them destroy all the robots. They're expensive, you know." Nezu reminded him.
