Chapter 3 - 3

Navy Captain Leng Leng said, "To dare to infiltrate the Holy Land and set it on fire by yourself, you are indeed no ordinary Fish-Man Tribe member."

Seeing how certain the other party was, Tiger didn't bother to explain. He had come here to free slaves anyway, so it didn't make much difference now.

The long-range attacks had no effect, so the Captain ordered the soldiers to engage in close-quarters combat.

As a Fish-Man Tribe member, Tiger's physical capabilities were 10 times that of a normal human. He knew that these soldiers alone could not take down Tiger.

But that wasn't important; as long as they stalled for a little longer, a Marine powerhouse would naturally arrive to deal with this guy.

The Captain only wanted a piece of the pie and had no intention of fighting Tiger to the death.

On the other side, Tiger saw that the enemy's main commander remained inactive, only sending some small fries to deal with him, and immediately understood his intentions.

"A quick battle!"

Tiger tried to break out in one go, but he kept getting caught in the human wave tactics, like having both feet stuck in a quagmire, unable to move.

The Navy Captain stood outside the crowd and smiled triumphantly, "Don't make unnecessary resistance, it's better for everyone."

Tiger's expression was grim. The longer time passed, the fiercer the fire became, indicating that powerful Marine generals would soon arrive.

"If I have to go back to being a slave, I'd rather die here!" Tiger gritted his teeth, glaring at the Marines. Even if he died, he had to take a few people down with him, especially that leading Navy Captain.

Just as Tiger was preparing for a desperate struggle, the ground beneath his feet began to tremble violently.

Then, massive trees shot out of the ground, instantly overturning the Marine formation, sending countless soldiers flying.

Surrounded by trees, the Captain shouted in panic, "What the hell is this?!"

The next second, he was submerged by the sea of trees!

This sudden scene was truly terrifying, and Tiger had no choice but to watch these strange trees with vigilance.

"Why aren't you leaving? What are you doing staying here?"

At this moment, a human boy emerged from the trees, glanced at Tiger, and then hurriedly left from the other side.

Tiger froze for a moment, then followed behind the boy, weaving through the trees.

At the same time, the World Government and the Gorosei were furious!

"This is outrageous! Someone dares to commit murder and arson in Mary Geoise, practically trampling on the dignity of the Celestial Dragons!"

"Who is this audacious fellow? Have you found him out?"

"According to the patrol team's report, it seems to be a Fishman who is taking the opportunity to release slaves!"

"Damn Fish-Man Tribe, they've become more and more arrogant in recent years!"

"Where is Sakazuki? Tell him to come over quickly and apprehend these slave criminals!"

"The city is engulfed in fire, wouldn't calling Sakazuki over just add to the chaos? It's better to have Aokiji handle it!"

Chapter 4: Escaping the Holy Land, Thinking About the Future

Chu Yang, using a large amount of flammable material, caused a fire far exceeding the original fire in the plot. Now, the entire Mary Geoise was engulfed in a sea of flames.

The situation was so severe that the Celestial Dragons couldn't even bother to pursue Tiger.

Even Aokiji, who had just arrived, immediately joined the firefighting efforts.

Coupled with the scattered slaves, the Holy Land's army was overwhelmed.

On the top floor courtyard of Pangea Castle, a solitary figure quietly gazed at the burning flames throughout the city.

As the true master of the Holy Land, Imu felt no shame; instead, a playful smile appeared at the corner of her mouth.

After gaining the most supreme power in the world, she rarely encountered such interesting things in her long life.

Especially in the last hundred years, boredom had made her lose interest in everything.

Today... was a decent bit of fun.

Imu watched the developments with interest, like an uninvolved bystander.

As for how many slaves would escape, or how many Berries would be lost, she didn't care at all.

While Imu was enjoying this spectacular "bonfire," Chu Yang and Tiger had already escaped the Holy Land and reached the edge of the Red Line.

Chu Yang hadn't expected this Fishman to follow him all the way.

He only helped him because that group of Marines happened to be blocking his escape route, and for a moment, having no other choice, Chu Yang had to act.

That single blow had almost exhausted all of Chu Yang's Chakra.

If it weren't for the boost from Wood Release, his current recovery ability was astonishing; otherwise, he would have fainted long ago.

On the way, Tiger also kept observing Chu Yang.

The ability Chu Yang displayed earlier made Tiger suspect he was a Devil Fruit user.

As for what kind of ability, Tiger was curious, but he wasn't foolish enough to pry.

Their relationship wasn't close enough to exchange secrets.

The two walked to the edge of the cliff. Chu Yang looked at the sheer cliff wall, thousands of feet high, and the crashing waves at the bottom, instinctively swallowing.

He didn't have acrophobia.

But such a terrifying height would make even a normal person's legs go weak at a glance.

"I remember there are elevators..." Chu Yang looked around. He remembered there were special elevators responsible for transporting people to the Red Line.

"The elevators are heavily guarded by soldiers, but now these soldiers are busy fighting fires in the city, so there shouldn't be anyone guarding them. As long as we find the elevator, we can successfully leave Mary Geoise."

As soon as Tiger heard Chu Yang wanted to find an elevator, he immediately said, "I know where it is!"

Chu Yang looked at him in surprise. Wasn't this a Fishman slave who had just escaped from prison?

How would he know these things?

Seeing that Chu Yang seemed not to believe him, Tiger explained, "I saw the elevator when I climbed up from below earlier."

"I see..." Chu Yang nodded, then was startled, "Wait, where did you climb up from?"

Tiger pointed to the bottomless abyss beside him.

Now Chu Yang finally knew who this Fishman in front of him was.

There had only been one person who could climb to the Holy Land of Mary Geoise with bare hands for so many years, and that was the hero who liberated slaves—Fisher Tiger.

After learning Tiger's identity, Chu Yang couldn't help but size him up, and only then did he realize he looked very familiar, especially his reddish skin.

Tiger's scalp tingled under Chu Yang's intense gaze, and he quickly said, "Little brother, don't worry, I definitely didn't lie to you."

"I know." Chu Yang asked curiously, "You also came up to set fires?"

Having been misunderstood once already, Tiger couldn't bear this grievance and immediately explained, "I didn't set the fire. I just took the opportunity to rescue some slaves..."

As he spoke, Tiger felt something was off and asked in confusion, "Hmm? Why did you say 'also'?"

Chu Yang's expression changed, and he quickly changed the subject, "There's no time for small talk now. If we stay any longer, the Marines will catch up. Quickly take me to find the elevator."

"Ah, right, right." Tiger recovered and led Chu Yang along the cliff. After a while, they successfully found the entrance to the elevator.

Just as Chu Yang had expected, there were very few soldiers guarding the entrance, only four standing alone. Tiger knocked them out with one punch each, leaving them no chance to resist.

Tiger couldn't help but sigh, "The defenses here are so weak; other places should be similar. I hope those innocent civilians can leave this hell and return home safely."

He really is a kind-hearted person who cares about the world...

Chu Yang, who preferred to mind his own business, deeply admired Tiger. This thought also came from his heart.

There was no hint of mockery.

Under the cover of night, the two took the elevator to leave the Red Line and return to the embrace of the sea.

Directly below Mary Geoise was a small town that served as the landing point for the elevator.

People traveling to and from the Red Line usually gathered in this town.

Because there were no guards, Chu Yang and Tiger's arrival didn't alarm anyone. Walking on the quiet streets, Tiger suddenly asked, "Little brother, are you going home?"

Home?

Where does a transmigrator have a home?

Chu Yang smiled bitterly, "My home is gone; I can't go back."

Tiger thought Chu Yang's family had been ruined by human traffickers and felt great sympathy for his plight. He then asked, "So, where do you plan to go next?"

Oh right, where do I go next?

Chu Yang fell into deep thought.

I need to find a place to learn some useful skills!

Whether it's Haki or physical combat, Chu Yang needs to learn something quickly, otherwise, the next time he meets his other clones, he'll waste another opportunity to meet.

Although freeloading brings joy, freeloading off oneself has no meaning.

What should I learn?

In Chu Yang's opinion, the most valuable skill in the Pirate World was undoubtedly Haki.

The power of Haki is unquestionable, and its enhancement to combat power is even superior to Devil Fruit to a certain extent.

Moreover, Haki, unlike Devil Fruit, doesn't have obvious drawbacks.

But the problem is, where can I find someone to teach me Haki?

Although there are many Haki masters in the New World, with Chu Yang's current ability, even with Wood Release, he would most likely be sending himself to his death.

As for places outside the New World, the only place Chu Yang could access was the Amazon Lily Kingdom, where Hancock resides.

There's a male ban there. Chu Yang, without a protagonist's halo, would also die if he went in, at least for now.

Besides Haki, the next best options are swordsmanship and physical combat.

The only place to learn advanced swordsmanship at this stage is the Isshin Dojo in Shimotsuki Village in East Blue, which means becoming Zoro's fellow disciple.

It's simply unrealistic for Chu Yang to return to East Blue from the Grand Line alone.

As for physical combat, Chu Yang didn't really have anything he found impressive. Apart from the Marine Six Powers, the overall level of physical combat in the Pirate World was not as good as in the Naruto World.
