Clap ~ Clap ~
With two crisp sounds, the man's arm suddenly drooped, and then Chu Yang pinned him against the wall with a reverse grip.
Thud!
The immense force made the man feel like he was slammed against the wall by a Kuma, almost fainting.
The man braced himself, gasping, and whispered, "I think this is a misunderstanding. I have no ill intentions."
"Tsk, every villain in movies says that."
Chu Yang increased the pressure on his hand.
Who would believe someone secretly following others isn't a bad person?
"Oh, my goodness, children nowadays are so well-nourished. He's only 16 and already so strong."
"It sounds like you know a lot about me?"
Chu Yang narrowed his eyes, a long-lost killing intent surfacing, and slowly reached his palm towards the back of the man's head.
Whoosh~~~~
A whooshing sound exploded to Chu Yang's right.
A short-haired woman in tactical gear suddenly appeared to his right, and while his right arm was pressing against the man, she kicked towards Chu Yang's waist.
It was a very vicious and tricky attack angle; if it were an ordinary person, that kick could have crippled them directly.
Chu Yang directly lifted the man, using him as a shield.
The short-haired woman's eyes widened, seemingly not expecting Chu Yang to be so strong.
He could easily lift an adult man.
She had no choice but to forcefully retract her strength, redirecting her kick towards the wall.
Crack~
A small crack appeared in the wall.
The short-haired woman's face was flushed, and she instinctively stood on her tiptoes, clearly injured.
"Hehehe, relax, I told you it's a misunderstanding!" the man shouted at Chu Yang.
Pepper, who had finished collecting criminal evidence, came out of the room.
She happened to see Chu Yang holding up a strange middle-aged man.
"What's going on?" Pepper was bewildered. She had only heard movement outside the room and didn't expect Chu Yang to be fighting someone.
"Miss Pepper, please tell him to put me down. I'm a government agent, not some commercial spy," the man quickly explained.
"FBI?" Pepper was startled and quickly told Chu Yang to put the man down.
Chu Yang tilted his head and glanced at the other party's hairline, then understood.
So he put him down.
"I used to work there, but not anymore," the man straightened his suit. "My current department is called the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division."
Pepper looked at him blankly.
"A bit of a mouthful, I know," the man chuckled awkwardly. "Anyway, my name is Phil Coulson, and I want to understand Tony Stark's experience in Afghanistan."
That's right, this man, who was almost killed by Chu Yang, was S.H.I.E.L.D.'s senior agent, Coulson, and also a key figure who would "shine" in the future New York battle.
Chu Yang looked at the short-haired woman beside him and asked, "Who is she?"
Coulson replied, "She's my colleague, Agent Hill."
Pepper asked worriedly, "This agent looks like she's in a lot of pain."
Hill straightened her body, her face exceptionally stiff.
After her worry, seeing the other party's good figure, Pepper immediately frowned, "Is she also here to learn about Tony?"
Coulson quickly waved his hand, pointing to Chu Yang beside him and saying, "She's here to learn about him..."
Chu Yang: "???"
Chu Yang didn't expect to attract Nick Fury's attention.
It made sense, though. Tony hadn't yet developed a true Iron Man suit.
Only after defeating Obadiah's Iron Monger would Tony be noticed by Nick Fury.
However, Hill coming to Chu Yang wasn't because Nick Fury wanted to recruit him to form the Avengers.
Instead, it was to get him to join S.H.I.E.L.D. as an agent.
Based on Chu Yang's current demonstrated abilities, he wasn't yet a piece of Nick Fury's Avengers puzzle.
"That's too dangerous, Miss Hill. I have no interest in becoming an agent," Chu Yang refused S.H.I.E.L.D.'s invitation without hesitation.
Are you kidding? He gets ten times the salary at Stark Industries.
Can your S.H.I.E.L.D. afford that?
Fighting to the death, and not even being able to afford decent insurance!
"You're not going to reconsider?" Hill's face didn't look good, whether it was because of her foot pain or because Chu Yang rejected her.
"Miss Agent, I don't care what department you're from," Pepper stood in front of Chu Yang, staring at Hill and warning her solemnly, "I must remind you that employing minors is illegal."
Hill said with a cold face, "Since you know it's illegal, why do you let him work at Stark Industries?"
"Firstly, Yang doesn't work here. He's a beneficiary of the Stark Philanthropic Foundation, and we are his guardians."
Pepper said sternly, "Secondly, I will never let him become some inexplicable agent."
Seeing the two becoming increasingly confrontational, Coulson quickly stepped in to mediate, "Miss Potts, we're just making a suggestion, not forcing him to join us."
"You know, he's not an ordinary boy. We're afraid he might misuse his power; he needs guidance."
"Don't you think so?"
Hearing Coulson's explanation, Pepper's expression softened considerably, but she still said very firmly, "Thank you for your concern, but how to guide Yang to do the right thing is our responsibility."
"OK! OK!"
Coulson raised both hands, nodding repeatedly.
Pepper didn't waste any more words with them and quickly took Chu Yang away before Obadiah returned.
Hill and Coulson didn't stop them from leaving because they weren't confident they could defeat Chu Yang.
"I don't like this woman very much!"
"From my perspective, you two are actually very similar."
"I know, that's why I don't like it."
"If this were a movie, the screenwriter would make you two good sisters."
"Shut up, Coulson!"
Coulson shrugged, then truly shut his mouth and said nothing.
Hill rolled her Byakugan and said, "That boy's skills are even better than I expected..."
Coulson said in a deep voice, "His anti-reconnaissance ability is also very strong. I was careful enough when approaching them, but he still discovered me immediately."
"I didn't even see his movements clearly before he subdued me," Hill said helplessly. "Such a report will only make Fury more interested in this boy."
Coulson shook his head and said, "Next time, let him come himself."
On the other side, the press conference was already in an uproar because just now, Tony Stark announced in front of everyone that he would permanently shut down Stark Industries' weapons division.
This was Stark Industries' most profitable department!
Obadiah sat beside Tony, staring at him blankly.
After a long while, the anger in his heart erupted like a volcano.
But, even so, reason kept telling him to stay calm!
Tony dropped a bombshell, letting it stir up a huge wave, and walked out of the press conference without looking back.
Then, Obadiah stood up and said to all the reporters present, "Tony was just a little stimulated in Afghanistan. When he clears his head, he'll realize he made a ridiculous joke. Please don't take it seriously."
After speaking, he also ignored the reporters' questions and quickly left the scene.
He chased after Tony in the direction he had left.
But how could Tony, who already knew all the truth, calm down and talk to Obadiah?
"Stane, what do I need to explain to you? This group is called Stark Industries, founded by my father, and I am the owner here!"
Tony was almost losing control of his emotions, roaring at Obadiah, directly stunning the latter!
Happy saw the situation and walked to Tony's side, whispering a few words in his ear, and he gradually calmed down.
"Sorry, I just left the terrorist base, and my emotions aren't very stable."
After Tony apologized, Obadiah finally came to his senses.
He gently patted Tony's shoulder, comforting him, "It's okay, I understand. When you feel better, we'll discuss this topic."
Then, under Obadiah's gaze, Tony and Happy whispered to each other as they quickly left.
"Pepper already has the evidence, right?"
"Yes, not only the process of your kidnapping but also footage of him making a deal with the terrorists."
"I really should have just punched him just now."
"If you want, I can do it for you."
Tony stopped, looked at Happy's fat, and after thinking for a moment, said, "That's a good idea, but Happy, objectively speaking, you might not be able to beat him."
Happy's eyes suddenly became resentful.
...
The four met at Tony's mansion, and Pepper handed the USB drive to Tony.
