Chapter 80 - 80

That's true," Uchiha Madara nodded, no longer pressing.

Chu Yang always felt that these two brothers, one playing the good cop and the other the bad cop, seemed to be targeting him.

"Just now, Teacher Tobirama received news that the other Four Kage will personally attend to offer their blessings."

Chu Yang quickly stated the main reason for his presence, wanting to get away from the two brothers as soon as possible.

"Heh, blessings? Uzumaki Mito, the Nine-Tailed Jinchuriki, marrying Hashirama must have made them restless, right?"

"They just want to come and see Konoha's situation; they haven't given up yet!"

"Let them come and see! After this wedding, their remaining ambitions will be completely crushed into dust!"

After Uchiha Madara finished speaking, Chu Yang excused himself and left.

Uchiha Izuna watched him leave, then turned to Uchiha Madara and said, "Big Brother, didn't we agree to take it slow? Why did you suddenly become so impatient?"

Uchiha Madara shook his head, "I just wanted to test this kid's attitude. If he's so resistant to even becoming my disciple, how could he possibly marry a woman from the Uchiha Clan in the future?"

Uchiha Izuna sighed, "For the continuation of the clan, you've truly gone through a lot of trouble."

Uchiha Madara laughed, "The current situation is good enough. As for Yang... that's my greed. I've never envied Hashirama in my life, except for this matter of taking a disciple..."

The two brothers chatted for a while longer, then set off together for the Hokage's office, where Senju Tobirama was still handling state affairs.

Everything would only return to normal after the wedding concluded.

The fact that the Four Kage personally attended the congratulations postponed the original wedding by a few days.

Several days later.

Convoys from the Four Great Nations gradually entered Konoha Village.

The other smaller nations, led by the Land of Iron, formed an alliance to celebrate the wedding.

Konoha Village allocating the Seven-Tailed Beast to them was a great favor, signifying that these smaller nations could use it to gather enough power to contend with the Five Great Nations.

This was the most practical way to achieve peace.

If the Four Great Nations attending the wedding was a display of submission, then the alliance of smaller nations was a genuine expression of gratitude and blessing.

Chu Yang could discern this from their expressions.

Upon arrival, the Four Kage went directly to the Hokage's reception room.

As they passed Chu Yang, their eyes were no longer as friendly as before.

One Nine-Tailed Beast was enough to shatter all their sense of security.

As Senju Hashirama's only direct disciple, Chu Yang was responsible for looking after and receiving these important guests.

After these people entered the room, Chu Yang stood guard until Senju Tobirama arrived.

The Uchiha brothers were also there.

These three individuals were likely the three most formidable people in all of Konoha!

Senju Hashirama was not present.

Apparently, they considered him an unnecessary hindrance.

Given his good-natured personality, he would indeed affect the performance of the three of them.

Chu Yang suddenly felt a bit sorry for the Four Kage.

Because these people were about to face an awkward situation where they couldn't win with words, nor could they win with a fight.

Senju Tobirama patted Chu Yang's shoulder, then pushed open the door and walked in.

Uchiha Madara and Uchiha Izuna followed closely behind.

The chilling aura made goosebumps appear all over Chu Yang's body.

He quickly closed the door.

This was to preserve the last bit of dignity for the four Kage.

Chu Yang stood outside the room, unable to hear a single sound.

It was eerily quiet.

Also standing guard outside were the soon-to-be Second Generation Kage.

They looked even more nervous than Chu Yang.

Time passed minute by minute.

No one outside dared to breathe loudly.

Creak~~~

The door opened.

The guards outside immediately went to greet them.

Chu Yang turned and saw the four Kage slowly walk out.

He wasn't sure if it was Chu Yang's illusion, but their faces looked a bit pale.

The four Kage left in a hurry, without saying a word, accompanied by their guards.

Chu Yang walked into the room and saw Senju Tobirama and the Uchiha brothers still sitting calmly.

Chu Yang grinned and said, "Judging by the reactions of those Kage, it seems Teacher said something quite extraordinary."

Senju Tobirama's lips curved slightly upward.

Uchiha Izuna said brightly, "Indeed, some harsh words were spoken, which scared these guests quite a bit."

"However, they should recognize reality, lest they end up embarrassing themselves."

Uchiha Madara stood up and said indifferently, "Hmph! A bunch of fools. This peace we have now is something we granted them willingly. Since they can't even understand such a simple thing, they still dare to make demands of us!"

Chu Yang asked in surprise, "What demands did they make?"

A cold glint flashed in Senju Tobirama's eyes, "The Senju Clan, the Uchiha Clan, the Hyuga Clan, they each wanted a clan member..."

"Tsk tsk, they're setting their sights on Bloodline Limits..." Chu Yang helplessly shook his head, "These people are truly greedy."

Uchiha Izuna sneered, "So, we gave them some warnings."

Chu Yang gloated, "I hope these esteemed Kage are still in the mood to attend the upcoming wedding."

Senju Tobirama stood up and said meaningfully, "They will be."

Three days later.

The grand wedding officially took place.

Just as Senju Tobirama said, the four Kage attended the wedding with smiles on their faces, showing no hint of reluctance.

They seemed very happy, even happier than if they were getting married themselves.

There were four newlyweds.

Senju Hashirama and Uzumaki Mito.

Uchiha Madara and another woman named Uchiha Mai.

They became husband and wife witnessed by countless people.

Chu Yang didn't know if Uchiha Madara loved this woman, but at least he didn't seem to dislike her.

...

Soul Society.

A long time had passed since Yosuke Honkawa's incident.

Karakura First High School had just finished its mid-term exams.

Chu Yang undoubtedly became the top student in his class.

Kurosaki Ichigo was third in the class.

In the school-wide rankings, Chu Yang was still first, while Kurosaki Ichigo had dropped to fifteenth place.

Good academic performance, excellent athletic ability, not fond of socializing, and a lone wolf.

Classmates often compared the two, who had similar styles.

Kurosaki Ichigo, in a sense, became Chu Yang's backdrop.

Whenever others asked, Kurosaki Ichigo would say he didn't care, but in reality, his curiosity about Chu Yang was stronger than any other classmate.

Because no one else had seen Chu Yang fight a Hollow bare-handed.

Kurosaki Ichigo still remembered it vividly.

Why was this person so strong?

What was that Fullbring that the Shinigami mentioned that day, and did I also have similar power?

These kinds of questions had been bothering Kurosaki Ichigo for a while.

He originally had no interest in power whatsoever.

But because of Chu Yang, Kurosaki Ichigo faintly developed a desire to win.

Just as Kurosaki Ichigo was competing with Chu Yang in his mind.

He and Rukia met again by chance.

Rukia was chasing a Hollow.

Kurosaki Ichigo originally didn't intend to meddle, but thinking of Chu Yang, he inexplicably followed.

As a result, Ichigo discovered that the Hollow was attacking his family.

Fortunately, Ichigo's appearance made the Hollow shift its target.

Ichigo wanted to fight back but was directly knocked away by the Hollow.

He was no match at all.

"So this is what it feels like to fight a Hollow?"

Kurosaki Ichigo was covered in blood, but his mind was clear. His head was filled with images of Chu Yang fighting the Hollow.
