Chapter 83 - 83

No, that's not it…" Kisuke Urahara stroked his chin, his eyes suddenly deepening.

Just as Rukia thought he was about to say something serious, he suddenly blurted, "Perhaps the Gigai is in disrepair."

"Forget it." Rukia didn't want to listen to his nonsense anymore. After thanking him, she left the Urahara Shop without looking back.

Watching Rukia's retreating figure, Kisuke Urahara's expression gradually turned serious.

He certainly knew that the reason Rukia felt a palpitation was not some romantic feeling or the nonsense about a disrepaired Gigai.

Kisuke Urahara was very clear that for a Shinigami to feel instinctive fear and experience palpitations, it meant the disparity between their souls was in a state of absolute crushing.

And such a disparity could never appear in an ordinary person.

"Interesting, truly interesting." Kisuke Urahara chuckled softly, then half-lay on the tatami mat and stretched, "I thought Kurosaki Ichigo was troublesome enough, but I didn't expect there'd be another one!"

"Aren't you going to take a look?"

Behind Kisuke Urahara, a tall man with glasses and a small mustache suddenly appeared.

This was Tessai Tsukabishi, the former Captain of the Kidō Corps in Soul Society, also known as the Grand Kidō Master.

And the seemingly carefree and unrefined Kisuke Urahara was the former Captain of the 12th Division of the Gotei 13 in Soul Society, also serving as the Director of the Department of Research and Development.

The two were falsely accused during the "Hollowfication Experiment" a hundred years ago and were forced to flee Soul Society, opening this general store called "Urahara Shop" in the Human World.

"For something so interesting, of course, I have to see it with my own eyes." Kisuke Urahara slapped his thigh, the smile on his face suddenly vanishing, replaced by a very grave expression.

"Perhaps it's another experiment by that fellow Aizen…"

One o'clock in the morning.

Chu Yang, who had already fallen asleep in bed, suddenly opened his eyes.

By the window sill in the room, a figure stood, watching him with a smile in his eyes.

Looking at the man in the fisherman's hat, Chu Yang didn't show much surprise.

He silently sat up, leaned against the headboard, and frowned, "I hate it most when people disturb me while I'm sleeping, and second to that is when I'm eating."

Chu Yang's calm composure made Kisuke Urahara even more interested in him, and he couldn't help but ask, "Under these circumstances, normal people either scream or get angry, don't they do something?"

"I'm about to." Chu Yang grinned, "Do you think I'm chatting with you?"

"No!"

"I'm telling you in advance…"

"The reason you're about to get a beating!"

When Chu Yang showed him killing intent, Kisuke Urahara finally understood what Rukia meant by the palpitation.

His neck felt as if it was being gripped by an invisible pair of large hands.

There was a suffocating sensation.

This feeling came from the soul level.

If Kisuke Urahara felt this way, imagine what Rukia must have felt.

A moment of distraction.

The biting blade was already pressed against Kisuke Urahara's face.

The chill was bone-deep.

It was a wooden sword, yet Kisuke Urahara felt as though this sword could tear him apart.

Clang!!!

The wooden sword was blocked by the cane in Kisuke Urahara's hand.

But the wall behind Kisuke Urahara exploded with a roar, as if struck by an invisible force.

A massive hole appeared in Chu Yang's room.

As the wind blew, the temperature plummeted.

"Your morning temper is even bigger than I imagined."

Kisuke Urahara still maintained his uninhibited demeanor, even at such a tense moment, still thinking of teasing Chu Yang.

"A guy who runs in the middle of the night to disturb someone's sleep isn't qualified to say that, is he?"

Chu Yang said coldly, his aura changing again, and a large amount of scorching breath erupted from his mouth and nose.

Kisuke Urahara's expression hardened, finally losing the smile at the corner of his mouth, his face grave.

What kind of power is this?

He had never seen a similar power; he wasn't even sure if it belonged to Fullbring.

As Source Breathing erupted, the force transmitted through the wooden sword increased exponentially, instantly exceeding Kisuke Urahara's expectations.

The floor beneath Kisuke Urahara's feet cracked, and he himself was almost unable to withstand this strange force, so he could only take half a step back, intending to diffuse the impact.

But as soon as his foot moved, the pressure on his cane was like a tsunami.

Layer upon layer, wave after wave, almost engulfing him.

Boom!!!

Finally, he was slammed hard into the center of the road, the ground instantly collapsing several meters, cracks continuously extending outwards, eventually forming a vast, spiderweb-like fissure.

"Cough, cough…"

Kisuke Urahara, lying in the deep pit, pushed away the rubble on his body; he looked disheveled but hadn't sustained much damage.

"No Zanpakuto, no Shikai, no Bankai, yet possessing such immense power just with Fullbring?"

"And he still has strength left; it seems an average Shinigami is no match for him, at the very least he has the combat power of a Vice-Captain level."

"As for whether he has Captain-level strength, I can't tell yet…"

After muttering to himself for a while, Kisuke Urahara sighed deeply, as if relieved, "There's no trace of Hollowfication on him at all, so it should have nothing to do with Aizen. I can't even create such a work, so it's even more impossible for him."

Kisuke Urahara shouted loudly, "Young man, I apologize for tonight's incident, let's stop here…"

Chu Yang appeared silently in front of him.

He raised his wooden sword high and stabbed down fiercely!

Kisuke Urahara's pupils suddenly constricted.

"Holy crap!"

In a flash of lightning, Kisuke Urahara used Shunpo.

The tip of the sword pinned his fisherman's hat firmly into the pile of rubble!

The large pit collapsed several more meters.

The nearby area shook violently as if an earthquake had struck, waking countless people in the dead of night.

Adults' panicked shouts and children's cries mingled together, creating utter chaos.

Kisuke Urahara's figure flickered, retreating into the distance, and he said with a headache, "This guy really has a temper. If we keep fighting like this, the entire street will be affected."

"I should have known not to provoke him so rashly…"

Just as Kisuke Urahara was thinking about how to deal with Chu Yang next, Chu Yang did not launch another attack, but merely stood in place, watching him with a stern expression.

Kisuke Urahara was utterly confused.

What was he doing?

Was he tired of fighting and preparing to rest?

"Restore this place to its original state." Chu Yang pointed at the miserable street, then directly returned home through the large hole in the wall.

He went home!

Kisuke Urahara was dumbfounded.

"He really is a unique young man…"

After a quick complaint, Kisuke Urahara actually bent down and began to repair the road. If anyone came out to look, he would erase their memory.

A moment later, even the hole in Chu Yang's house was patched up by him.

"Mr. Urahara, what are you doing here?"

Kisuke Urahara turned around and saw Rukia and Kurosaki Ichigo standing not far away, staring at him.

"Haha…" Kisuke Urahara let out two dry laughs, scratching his head, "Nothing, just bored and came out for a walk."

I absolutely cannot let them know I was beaten into the ground!

Rukia asked suspiciously, "Just now, I felt two very powerful spiritual pressures colliding. I thought a very strong Hollow had appeared in this area, but only you are here."

"Did this place just experience a battle?"

Kisuke Urahara avoided their questioning gazes, tilting his head to the side, "No, nothing happened here."

Kurosaki Ichigo said, "I just saw you repairing a house. Did you break someone else's house?"

"Who said that?!" Kisuke Urahara flatly denied, "I just saw that this house was in disrepair from age, so I was being kind and helped repair it."

"Very suspicious, Mr. Urahara." Rukia walked directly in front of Kisuke Urahara, her gaze sweeping back and forth across his face.

"If there's nothing else, I'll be going!" Kisuke Urahara just wanted to slip away quickly now.

The main door of Chu Yang's house opened.

Chu Yang stood at the doorway, staring coldly at Kisuke Urahara, "You forgot to say sorry."

Kisuke Urahara: "…"

Rukia also didn't expect this to be Chu Yang's house. She stared blankly at him, then connected it to the reason Kisuke Urahara was there.

Rukia glared at Kisuke Urahara, her eyes wide, "Mr. Urahara, could it be that…"

Kisuke Urahara awkwardly scratched his head, "I was just curious, so I came to take a look. I didn't expect this young man to have such a temper."

Chu Yang narrowed his eyes, staring at Kisuke Urahara with an unfriendly expression.

"I'm sorry." Kisuke Urahara immediately turned around and bowed slightly, "Please forgive my rudeness tonight."
