Chapter 140 - 140

Chu Yang scornfully raised his katana high, like a god judging mortals.

He brought the blade down.

The powers of the sun and moon appeared simultaneously.

Blazing sunlight.

Dim moonlight.

The two intertwined, like two giant millstones, grinding all matter enveloped in their light into dust.

Source Breathing, Second Form: Sun and Moon in Unison.

The Special Grade Curse Spirit, Incarnate Tamamo no Mae, shrieked piercingly the moment its front foot stepped into the light of the sun and moon, its body slowly being ground away.

It tried to escape, but found itself utterly unable to move; there was a powerful suction between the two different lights, like a black hole.

Geto Suguru stopped, watching the Curse Spirit's destruction with goosebumps rising all over his body, a chill shooting from his tailbone to the top of his head.

Such destructive power, he had only seen it once before in his life, on another person.

Satoru Gojo!

Geto Suguru felt the urge to retreat.

But at this point, how could he retreat?

Rika Orimoto was right before his eyes; as long as he obtained this Curse Spirit, he could completely turn the tables!

Geto Suguru gritted his teeth and instantly released a large number of Curse Spirits, hoping to use them to stall Chu Yang until he could kill Okkotsu Yuta and seize the Curse Spirit.

On the other side, Okkotsu Yuta and Maki Zen'in in the classroom also saw the Curse Spirits released by Geto Suguru.

The two exchanged glances, seeing worry in each other's eyes.

"Although Yang Senior is very strong, it might be difficult for him to handle so many Curse Spirits alone, should we go help him?"

"No need to ask!"

The two rushed out of the classroom together, leaping continuously across the rooftops.

Shinjuku.

The belated Satoru Gojo guessed Geto Suguru's objective, then teleported Kuma and Toge Inumaki back to Jujutsu High.

"With Yang there, you two cooperate with him to stall Geto Suguru; I'll be back soon."

In a blink of an eye, the two appeared above Jujutsu High.

"There's a barrier, Satori's guess was right, Geto Suguru is here!"

Kuma roared, preparing to break through the barrier with brute force.

But the next second, he saw the barrier shatter with a bang, and two strange lights illuminated the entire world, which was already sinking into twilight.

Sunlight.

Moonlight.

Kuma and Toge Inumaki saw the dense Curse Spirits on the ground completely annihilated under the illumination of the two lights.

And Okkotsu Yuta and Maki Zen'in witnessed the terrifying scene from an even closer distance.

All four, including Geto Suguru, trembled, simultaneously focusing their gaze on Chu Yang.

That person, bathed in light, walked slowly forward.

He was both a god and a devil.

"I was careless…"

Geto Suguru gave a bitter smile, his face ashen, watching Chu Yang walk towards him step by step.

If he had known the opponent was so powerful, he shouldn't have thought about using Curse Spirits to entangle him; he should have launched his strongest Jujutsu from the very beginning.

Geto Suguru still had a Jujutsu called Uzumaki, which could condense the power of all Curse Spirits into a single attack, with immense destructive power.

But now Chu Yang had destroyed more than half of his Curse Spirits; relying on the remaining ones, the power of Uzumaki would not be enough to threaten Chu Yang.

"I lost." Geto Suguru understood that he had no chance to turn the tables, yet he felt a sense of relief at the brink of death.

Anyway, he had tried his best in this life; things developing this way could only be attributed to bad luck. There were countless people in history who failed at the last hurdle, and he was just one more.

"Even if I succeeded… I might not have won against Satori."

Geto Suguru mocked himself inwardly, his expression becoming increasingly calm and composed.

He stood rooted to the spot, as if waiting for death.

Chu Yang walked up to him, and the blade in his hand slowly pierced towards Geto Suguru's heart.

Intense pain came, but Geto Suguru's expression didn't change at all.

Kuma and Toge Inumaki landed directly beside Maki Zen'in and Okkotsu Yuta.

The four held their breath, watching silently from the side.

The tip of the blade did not pierce a vital point, but instead, with extreme speed, carved mysterious incantations onto Geto Suguru's heart. After a brief pain, Geto Suguru found that his injury was not as serious as he had imagined.

Divine skill!

Geto Suguru was utterly shocked.

When the blade tip left Geto Suguru's body, he stumbled and collapsed to the ground, his consciousness falling into a coma, but he did not die.

Only a master of swordsmanship like Chu Yang, who had reached the pinnacle, could achieve this.

What Chu Yang carved on Geto Suguru's heart was the Flying Thunder God incantation; now, if he wished, he could appear by Geto Suguru's side at any time.

The four, including Kuma, felt a chill.

From their perspective, Chu Yang was killing Geto Suguru in an extremely cruel manner.

Stabbing a knife into someone's heart and twisting it around, just thinking about it was painful enough.

Such a misunderstanding was quite good, saving them from noticing anything amiss.

Chu Yang carried Geto Suguru's "corpse" out of Jujutsu High; Maki Zen'in and the others dared not question, only watching him leave.

Arriving at a deserted place, Chu Yang first treated Geto Suguru's injuries, then woke him up; the latter was somewhat bewildered.

"You're not killing me?"

"I want your life."

"What value does my life have? In front of you, I'm no different from an ant, am I?"

"Whether it has value or not, I decide. Even if you are an ant, you are a relatively large one."

Chu Yang stated directly: "I don't particularly like the current Jujutsu world. Whether it's those major families or the higher-ups of Jujutsu High, they can arbitrarily define the good and evil of Jujutsu Sorcerers, but in my opinion, some of them are more like Curse Users than Curse Users themselves."

"I want to redefine the order of this world."

"I have no interest in mocking your ideal, even if I think it's naive. But before you have enough ability to realize your ideal, why not help me achieve my wish first?"

Geto Suguru was lost in thought, and after a long while, he chuckled softly: "Why should I help you?"

Chu Yang directly stabbed the blade into Geto Suguru's chest and said coldly: "I'm not giving you a choice, just an opportunity to live."

The cold blade once again pierced his body in a familiar way. Geto Suguru's breathing became rapid; the feeling of dying and coming back to life was not pleasant, and it repeatedly eroded his courage to face death.

Just as Chu Yang was about to continue his artistic creation on his heart, Geto Suguru chose to yield.

"Very good. From today onwards, we are comrades in the same camp. Though I am unworthy, I can reluctantly be the boss, what do you think?"

Chu Yang's benevolent smile made Geto Suguru feel unusually familiar. He suddenly remembered what the other party had said before the battle and couldn't help but smile bitterly: "So you were after me from the very beginning, the mantis stalks the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind…"

"In this situation, if I say no, I'll definitely die. Besides agreeing, is there a second option?"

Chu Yang nodded: "Since you agree, then quickly find a way to deceive Satoru Gojo; he's about to return."

Geto Suguru summoned a reptilian-like Curse Spirit.

Then he dripped a few drops of blood onto the Curse Spirit, which immediately transformed into his likeness.

Chu Yang immediately understood, using the tip of his blade to destroy the fake Geto Suguru's heart, obtaining a perfect corpse.

"The corpse can only exist for a maximum of one hour; if it exceeds that time, the Curse Spirit will disappear."

Geto Suguru narrowed his eyes, reminding Chu Yang.

"Alright, you should leave quickly, lest you run into Satoru Gojo later, which would be even more troublesome."

Chu Yang waved his hand, signaling him to leave.

"Aren't you going to ask where my base is? Aren't you planning to find me later?"

Geto Suguru's face was full of confusion.

"If I want to find you, I can find you anytime. If you don't believe me, you can try hiding."

Chu Yang sneered, issuing a warning in a jocular tone.

For some reason, Geto Suguru felt a chill down his spine. He knew Chu Yang must have done something to him, but he couldn't figure out what.

Staying by Chu Yang's side for another moment made Geto Suguru feel uncomfortable all over. He immediately summoned a Curse Spirit and had it take him away from Jujutsu High.

Not long after, Satoru Gojo rushed back to Jujutsu High in the afterglow of dusk, seeing Chu Yang and the fake Geto Suguru's corpse at the main gate.

Satoru Gojo suddenly slowed his pace, walking slowly to the corpse and gazing at it for a while before turning to Chu Yang, "You worked hard."

Chu Yang shook his head and took a student ID out of his pocket, handing it to Satoru Gojo. It was Okkotsu Yuta's student ID, lost during a recent mission and picked up by Geto Suguru.

"Do you need some time for yourselves?"

"Thank you, then please wait a little longer for me."

Chu Yang nodded and walked to the steps to sit down.

Watching the fiery clouds in the sky, he silently waited for Satoru Gojo to mourn his close friend.

Three minutes later, Satoru Gojo stretched, seemingly returning to his usual carefree attitude.

"You guessed from the start that Geto Suguru's target was Yuta, so you deliberately stayed at Jujutsu High, didn't you?"

Satoru Gojo's lips curled slightly as he recalled Chu Yang's hesitant expression during the previous meeting.

"Just lucky.
