Chloe blushed and agreed, then turned on the speakerphone and made the call. Soon, a very gentle voice came from the other end.
"Hey, Chloe!"
"Honey, there's something I'm unsure about and I wanted to discuss it with you."
Chloe then brought up her desire to move to a new apartment.
After all, it was motivated by safety concerns. She genuinely didn't want to live a life of constant fear and anxiety, especially since the incident with Carter had left her feeling deeply unsettled.
Luis listened quietly until she finished, then offered his suggestion.
"I think your sister is right. It's always better to be safe than sorry. Security should be your number one priority."
"As for the financial aspect, you really don't need to worry about that at all. Even if you might take a small loss on the price difference and have to pay some taxes by selling and buying quickly to get it done, it really doesn't matter."
