Upon hearing that it was Dominic's son, Blanche immediately wilted. She smiled bitterly, her face full of frustration, and said, "No wonder. Calling the police really is useless."
"Fortunately, it was just a scare. We can just take this loss, but what's truly frightening is that the little bastard might not be willing to let it go and could keep causing trouble."
She was a very realistic and clear-headed person. Her first reaction was knowing that pursuing this matter was almost impossible. Her only worry was that Daniel would not give up so easily.
"Don't worry, I will handle this matter."
Luis reached out and held her in his arms. Looking at this mother's helpless and worried expression, he gently stroked her beautiful hair, "You focus on taking care of Avery tonight. The doctor said your daughter is fine. She can be discharged tomorrow after some observation."
"Okay!"
Blanche said meekly.
