Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 – Into the Shadows

---

The Briefing

The Storm Division gathered on the Hokage monument at midnight, their blank masks gleaming under moonlight.

"Our first mission is a test," I said, voice firm but calm. "We're taking down a black-market chakra trader operating on our borders. No detection, no survivors if hostile."

Kai cracked his knuckles, Sera adjusted her headgear, and Jin vanished into the trees even before the mission started.

Hana stood by my side, her masked gaze steady. "We're ready," she said quietly.

Silent Approach

We reached the border trading post by dawn, moving tree-to-tree, silent as ghosts.

Sera whispered through comms: "Five signatures inside, one high-level."

"Positions," I ordered. "We go on my signal."

Kai took the roof, Jin phased into shadows, Hana and I took the front.

Hana's Combat Bloom

The moment I signaled, the doors burst open, and enemies rushed out. One swung a blade at me, but a green chakra vine snapped from Hana's palm, wrapping his arm and sending an electric shock down his nerves.

"Chakra Bloom: Paralyzing Petal!" she called, dropping him instantly.

I grinned behind my mask. She's more dangerous than I thought.

Capture

Inside, we caught the ringleader—a missing-nin from the Mist. He sneered: "ANBU? Thought you were myths."

I pressed my Falcon Strike at his throat. "Believe now?"

We cuffed him for interrogation. Mission clean. No Leaf casualties.

Cliffhanger

Hana removed her mask briefly, sweat glistening on her temple. "First mission done. How do you feel?"

I stared at her a moment longer than I should have, then smiled. "Like we just woke a storm that won't stop."

And deep down, I knew… this was only the beginning.
