Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: Training the Scarlet Witch – Spellbound Hearts & Chaos Surge

Location: Ruined Church Hideout – Brooklyn

The dim candlelight flickered inside the church as ancient spell circles hovered mid-air, rotating slowly. The scent of old wood and incense filled the room. Wanda stood in the middle, her fingers dancing through complex gestures as I watched silently from the altar steps.

"Good," I said, my voice calm but firm. "Now bind the chaos magic to the necro-rune at the edge of the circle."

She nodded, her brow furrowed in focus. Red energy glowed from her fingertips, coiling like a serpent. The rune pulsed darkly—then stabilized.

She collapsed to one knee, panting.

"You're doing better than you think," I said, stepping forward.

She looked up, her face glistening with sweat. "No one's ever taught me this before… not like this. You don't treat me like a weapon."

"I see you," I said simply.

And in that moment, the distance between us broke. She reached out—not with magic, but with her hand. I took it.

Her fingers were cold.

Mine were calm.

Location: SHIELD Helicarrier – Hidden Chamber

Nick Fury sat in silence as an encrypted feed from a HYDRA mole blinked to life.

Wanda Maximoff… alive… powerful… and not alone.

The image paused on me standing beside her, hands glowing with mixed white and black energy, necromancer robes swirling with wind, mage tattoos glowing faintly.

Fury muttered under his breath: "Who the hell is this guy?"

He turned toward Natasha Romanoff, who stepped into the chamber.

"I need you to find him," Fury ordered. "Watch him. Don't engage… unless you want to die."

Natasha frowned. "What makes you think I can get close?"

Fury smirked.

"Because he hasn't met you yet."

Location: Church Rooftop – That Night

Wanda leaned on my shoulder as we watched the moon above Brooklyn.

"I've never felt… safe. Not until now."

I looked at her, hand gently brushing her red hair.

"You're not alone anymore. Chaos or not, you're mine."

She smiled.

But I already sensed it.

A presence. Watching. Calculated. Silent.

Black Widow… has entered the board.
