Luca's POV….
Her scent, warm and gentle, like a melody calling out to me, was everything I ever wanted as I felt it, the moment I set foot inside the town, I knew that I was in the right place, she felt right, and it felt good.
I watched as I found myself in a market, I had never been to one, my face covered with a cap and nose mask as I headed further in when I stopped in my tracks.
The scent got even stronger, my eyes filled with joy, my wolf wanted to get out to run to meet her yet I didn't allow him, we both had to be sane about this, it felt like for a long time, I finally found my happiness, I found a purpose, one that I had been lost without.
I headed further in when my eyes caught her, she stood by the end of a store, she had a smile on her face and her eyes looked lifeless.
She didn't see me, but I know she has missed me.
