The letter was covered in blood when Luca pulled it out of the white bag, which was barely a white bag. I glanced at him, eating for him to read when he turned to look at Ares.
What did that mean?
"Where is he taking the bag?" I whispered, I glanced at him again, waiting for him to speak when Ares took the bag away, and a wave of disgust was over me. "What did the letter say, Luca?" I asked
His eyes were on mine, he knew he couldn't lie to me and he didn't want to tell me the truth either, who is it, I didn't have anyone to lose but him.
"He found Aria." Luca breathed out and my chest tightened.
"What do you mean? We asked her to leave so she would be safe, Patrick is not even meant to come close to her because if he had done his research he would have found out that we didn't even care that much about her." I explained, I didn't want to accept what he was going to say.
