Black mist condensed in midair, rolled, and vaguely revealed Voldemort's face.
Dumbledore waved wand at Lockhart—rope appeared from nothing and pulled Lockhart to his side.
"Dumbledore! So that's it!" Voldemort's voice came from black mist. "This is why you weakened?"
"Accumulated magic to expel me! Was it worth it? You're still so soft-hearted! Truly foolish!"
Dumbledore straightened. "Don't you understand? How important a living life is..."
His body rose and fell slightly, tone full of sighs, like pitying Voldemort. "Even though you were defeated again because of this living life, you still..."
"I don't understand! But you'll understand soon!" Voldemort rudely interrupted Dumbledore. "You'll lose your own life because of this so-called living life!"
Before words finished, black mist surged and violently rushed toward Dumbledore.
Hearing this, facing menacing black mist, Dumbledore made no movement.
He smiled at the mist, like not planning any resistance, prepared to calmly face what came next.
"Expecto Patronum!"
Wizette raised his wand. Obscurus-form Corporeal Patronus flew out, became a barrier, and firmly blocked before Dumbledore.
Light from Patronus contacted black mist and produced ice-melting effect—made Voldemort unable to advance.
This was Patronus Charm's most well-known use—against various Dark magic affecting spirit and soul, had excellent effect. Current Voldemort clearly fit such characteristics.
Voldemort's tone filled with fury. "Wizette!"
"I'm here!" Wizette responded and looked at Voldemort returning to midair. "I heard a saying—people killed by Killing Curse leave no soul and won't become ghosts."
"You dare in front of Dumbledore..." Voldemort quickly returned to midair, like hearing funniest thing. "Use Unforgivable Curse on me?"
Wizette didn't pause and continued on his own. "So I'm curious... If existence like you gets hit by Killing Curse, what happens..."
Behind Patronus's light came Dumbledore's tired voice. "I'm too tired now. Heard nothing..."
Voldemort's tone became uncertain. "You can't! You don't even know how..."
"Really? At least I know the incantation and know what to do..." Wizette asked back. "You? Know why to do it?"
"Wizette, very good!" Voldemort didn't answer and flew toward higher darkness.
"Avada Kedavra!" Wizette's incantation extremely clear.
Green light illuminated entire Chamber but didn't taint Patronus Charm's glow.
Thick green plasma shot out, flew high into air, and extremely precisely hit escaping Voldemort.
Black mist Voldemort became became bizarre—front half flew toward darkness, back half spun chaotically, as if pulled and twisted by something.
Wizette immediately used Oculus Magicae. Pitch-black opening appeared in midair with endless suction inside—wanted to pull Voldemort's black mist within.
"Wizette! Dumbledore!" With Voldemort's roar, he finally completely escaped into darkness and that pitch-black opening also disappeared.
"What did you see?" Dumbledore asked.
"Vortex-like thing... Like it absorbs souls." Wizette tried describing. "He was continuously absorbed by vortex but never succeeded..."
"If that vortex is death..." Dumbledore speculated. "Perhaps this is Horcrux's function—makes him unable to be absorbed by death."
"I think that's the result." Wizette nodded and picked up his wand to examine it. "But too simple... Seems only needs one thought..."
"Yes! That incantation too simple, too easy to release..." Dumbledore said slowly. "You should understand my meaning."
"Headmaster Dumbledore, I understand." Wizette nodded. "Magic's charm lies in creation, not destruction."
"Right! Destruction too easy, too many methods!" Dumbledore exhaled. "But to create... Extremely difficult!"
Wizette nodded, raised Spirit-Luring Box and lightly squeezed—black mist appeared and condensed into Voldemort's form.
He took wand and pierced into black mist, closed eyes to sense.
Taking this opportunity, Dumbledore brought Harry to his side and waved wand around. "Reparo!"
Rubble and dust flew up with rumbling sounds and returned to original places.
But Chamber couldn't restore to initial appearance—stones annihilated by magic couldn't be repaired by Repair Charm.
"Slightly regrettable..." Dumbledore spoke softly, pointed wand toward Chamber door, summoned stones from outside, and repaired damaged areas.
After a while, Wizette slowly opened eyes. "Headmaster Dumbledore... This is a soul fragment."
"Voldemort has extremely deep soul research! This soul fragment has two parts—one belongs to Voldemort, other belongs to Tom Riddle."
He couldn't help praising. "Precisely because of this, he could complete soul fragment exchange. Truly... Very clever idea!"
"He was always talented... Pity..." Dumbledore shook head. "But also because he's 'master,' could do this to 'servant.'"
"Exactly!" Wizette's expression became serious. "Since this is two fragments, means he plans to make at least one more Horcrux!"
"We can even be bolder and assume this situation... Horcruxes Voldemort currently possesses probably not just this one!"
"Indeed!" Dumbledore agreed. "He can exchange soul fragments—at least means prepared fragment beforehand."
"Too insane!" He sighed long. "To make multiple Horcruxes—if truly completed, that's also an achievement..."
Dumbledore continued asking. "What else can you sense?"
"The Horcrux Tom Riddle inhabited..." Wizette said. "He hid that Horcrux in Forbidden Forest... Moreover in a lake. Not easy to find."
"Very fitting Tom Riddle's thinking." Dumbledore smiled slightly. "Pity he still failed... Didn't expect Voldemort had such backup."
