Chapter 103 - Chapter 104: Eternal Ark Space Station

"BD-4? I like BD-4! He doesn't avoid me like the big bird does!" Milisen strapped herself into the co-pilot's seat, teasing the droid beside her.

It seemed she was still holding a grudge against Yunyin.

"Alright, say goodbye to Yunyin. Didn't he already let you sit on his neck?" Amir laughed.

"Hmph! Goodbye, stupid big bird! Goodbye, stupid Mona! This time, I'm the one leaving you! I'm going! Don't you cry when you miss me tonight!! Rau!"

Seeing Milisen's antics, Amir couldn't help but chuckle.

He started the Traveler. Accompanied by Yunyin for a stretch, the ship burst through the mist and flew toward the sky.

. . .

Tatooine, Cantina

Kayin was drinking a beverage, killing time, when a message suddenly arrived on his communicator.

"Hondo? Why is Amir looking for that old geezer?"

. . .

Somewhere in Space

Lango was staring at the sensor readout in front of him. Beside him, Chewbacca grunted impatiently.

"Have you found it or not?" Han Solo was also here for some reason, urging him on from the side.

"Don't rush me." Lango was sick of these two. He had to wait for the ship to send a signal; it wasn't him sending it!

"Here it is, here it is! What's this?" Han Solo stared in surprise at the familiar symbol on the display.

"Damn it! Why is it Crimson Dawn again!" the young Han said angrily. If nothing had changed, the public face of Crimson Dawn was now his long-lost ex-girlfriend.

"We agreed. We helped you out once. This time, it's your turn. Help us rescue this group of people, and we're even," Lango said.

"Rrrroooaaar~!"

"Next time you roar, can you stay away from my ear, you big oaf!" Han Solo's words were harsh, but he didn't back out of the deal.

"On my ship, you listen to me! Who knows how to fly? Get in the co-pilot's seat!" Han Solo walked to the cockpit and began to rapidly operate the ship he had just re-acquired. He was in love with this ship.

Seeing Chewbacca amble up, Han Solo's eyes widened.

"What are you doing here, furball? If you're hungry, go to the cargo hold!"

Chewbacca ignored him, skillfully started the auxiliary systems, and sat down in the co-pilot's seat.

"Not bad! Guess you can't judge a book by its cover," Han Solo was stunned by Chewbacca's proficiency.

"RRAARGH!!!"

"###"

The ship started. The Millennium Falcon accelerated rapidly, flying into space. In the blink of an eye, it was just a small point of light in the starry sky.

. . .

Hyperpsace

"Where are we going next?" Milisen sat in the co-pilot's seat, staring hard at the streaking stars, trying to count them one by one, and asked curiously.

"Eternal Ark Space Station." Amir pulled up the coordinates Hak had given him and flew toward an empty corner of the map.

"A space station... Is that a star, too?"

"Strictly speaking, yes." It floats, it shines. No problem there.

Not long after, the Traveler jumped out of hyperspace. From a distance, they saw a shining point of light. Unlike other stars, it wasn't very bright, was very small, and was mechanical.

As they flew closer, Amir saw the luxury of the space station. It was covered in colorful, flowing lights. Luxurious landspeeders shuttled ceaselessly overhead. Countless people were singing and dancing, venting their emotions and desires. This was a true lawless land, the money pit for the galaxy's wealthiest criminals and thrill-seekers.

Milisen's face showed amazement. She had never seen such a scene.

Passing through the magnetic shield, Amir landed the Traveler in the designated docking bay. He led Milisen out.

Amir, after all, had grown up in the core of Coruscant. Even though it was the lower levels, hadn't he seen a bantha run, even if he'd never eaten bantha meat? He had seen such luxurious scenes a few times before.

Looking at the dazzling array of delicacies and eye-catching entertainment venues, Amir and Milisen suddenly found their feet wouldn't move.

He touched his still-full pockets. He didn't know why Hondo hadn't stolen anything from the bag, but as long as the money was still there, Amir could hold less of a grudge. But none of that mattered now. Amir decided to put off seeing the doctor for a bit.

As the saying goes: We're already here.

Eating and drinking all the way, Amir and Milisen held colorful drinks in their left hands and a bag in their right, filled with all kinds of snacks. They ate as they walked, without any sense of decorum, as if they hadn't eaten in days.

Milisen had never eaten these things before. She wished she had more mouths. She vowed to save some of the bag's contents for Mona to try, to let her know that nutrient paste could never be considered delicious!

While the two were enjoying themselves, a dilapidated, pirate-like ship slowly landed in a public docking bay nearby, catching Amir's eye.

For a moment, Amir had a strong sense of déjà vu, as if he had seen this scene at some point in time.

Perhaps it was a flash in a dream, or a slip in his memory.

But the next scene left Amir completely stunned.

The pirate ship's ramp opened, and a figure staggered out.

It was the same familiar appearance: ulcerated skin, like a demon crawling out of hell.

Amir pulled Milisen to a stop in the crowd. He and 032 stared at each other from across the street. His mind raced, searching for any reason 032 could possibly be here, and how he got here.

There was none. No traceable path. 032 shouldn't be here at all, not at this time!

Dragging his heavy steps, 032 walked straight toward Amir. The pedestrians on the road seemed not to exist in his vision. In front of him, there was only the blond boy with his cheeks puffed out with food.

Swallowing the uniquely flavored dessert, Amir pulled Milisen behind him.

Just then, a Duros ran out of the ship 032 had disembarked from in a panic. Seeing 032's back, his face showed fear, and he fled frantically to the side.

"Who are you? Get out of my master's way!" A Snivvian with giant nostrils walked up to 032 and shoved him hard, as if annoyed this person was blocking the path of the Hutt master behind him.

Amir stared intently at 032's movements. Unexpectedly, just like an ordinary patient, he was easily knocked to the ground by the shove.

Seeing 032's skin, the ugly Snivvian kicked him aside in disgust and continued to pull the luxurious repulsor-sled, leading his Hutt master forward.

"Do you know what to do when you see someone fall and not get up?" Amir asked, watching the scene, questioning Milisen who needed to learn some manners.

"No! We can't be like that person and kick him! That's not nice!" Milisen looked at Amir in disbelief.
