When Xu Manman lunged forward, Jiang Xingye first pulled Xu Qinghuan into his arms, thinking Xu Manman was about to attack Xu Qinghuan, a murderous aura filling the air.
Though Xu Manman didn't dare, this was a perfect moment for her to put on a show of bravery, so she summoned the courage and was about to continue her tirade, when Xu Qinghuan slapped her across the face once more.
"Xu Manman, just because you like eating shit doesn't mean everyone else likes the smell of it. Get lost! Next time you approach me, I'll hit you everytime I see you," Xu Qinghuan said.
Xu Manman covered her cheek and cried, "How can you do this, hitting people at the drop of a hat? Is it wrong for us to care about you? I've always treated you like a sister and worried you'd be bullied by some country bumpkin, Chengxu and I have always been watching over you from afar. Even if you don't appreciate it, how can you treat me like this!"
