Chapter 81 - Chapter 81: Suddenly, He Said He Was Leaving

After chatting with the old man for a while, Ethan Grant came over and carried Serena Sullivan out directly.

He seemed to be addicted to carrying her. Even though the path at The Sullivan Residence was perfectly accessible for a wheelchair, he chose to carry her.

Serena, catching a whiff of the tobacco scent on him, spoke softly.

"Why are you here?"

"Grandfather's sick. I came to see him." Ethan answered simply. The servant had called to say Serena needed a car back to The Sullivan Residence, and he was worried she might run into something there, so he came over.

Luckily, he did.

He carried Serena into the car. Just as another car stopped nearby, he got in from the other side, and Zoe Quinn got out of the car.

She had gotten a call from Claire Sullivan saying Ethan was at The Sullivan Residence, and she rushed back immediately.

"Brother Ethan!"

She approached joyfully, and when she saw Serena next to Ethan in the car, she pounded on the car window even harder.
