It's the first time Sean Lockwood has been so proactive in asking her out.
"Get a good rest tonight, don't worry about me here."
Serena Sullivan finished speaking, and she heard voices coming from outside the door. She exchanged good nights with Anna Morgan and hung up the phone.
Soon, footsteps and voices grew closer, and her door was opened from the outside. Serena raised her head to look at the window, showing no interest in the person who entered.
"Sister." A gentle voice called, and Serena heard the sound of footsteps approaching, "I'm here to take you to dinner."
Serena still didn't respond, but Zoe Quinn wasn't upset. She went over and placed her hand on the back of Serena's chair.
"Sister, what are you looking at?" Zoe Quinn smiled, leaning towards Serena's ear, "Are you thinking about Ethan?"
Zoe Quinn's voice couldn't hide her current smugness, the thought of having Serena in her grasp filled her with joy.
