Ethan Grant had a bad temper. Insults like these towards Serena right in front of him were intolerable.
"Yvette Sterling." Ethan's voice dropped as he addressed Yvette behind him, "Slap her. Slap her hard."
"For every insult, ten slaps! Count how many things she said and slap accordingly!"

"Ethan Grant." Carter Lockwood stepped in to stop him. This was a party hosted by the Sterling Family. For Ethan to slap a guest of the Sterlings in front of so many people was inappropriate.
The Keaton Family could settle scores with them after the party.
