The assistant was baffled about how Carter Lockwood managed to win over Anna Morgan, wondering if the usually cold and aloof Mr. Lockwood had suddenly connected the dots, confessed directly, and moved Anna.
Watching the interaction between the two of them in the back seat again, hearing Carter say "miss," shocked the assistant.
Since when did Mr. Lockwood start flirting?
Dating really makes a difference!
"Honey!"
Anna Morgan wasn't satisfied with Carter's response.
The single word "miss" wasn't enough to satisfy her longing.
At the banquet, her gaze was constantly on Carter Lockwood.
Seeing him come to pick her up, one can imagine how delighted she felt inside.
"Hmm."
Carter responded again, chatting with Anna Morgan without a hint of impatience.
He never thought Anna's topics were too mundane.
This time, Anna didn't speak; she lifted her head and swiftly gave Carter Lockwood a peck on the lips.
The kiss was so quick it left Carter dazed.
