Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: It's All the Apocalypse!

In the end, it was Shen Yu who finally let out a long breath, murmuring with joy, "There really is such a thing… What is this, an external incarnation?"

Yes, although the two people before him looked nothing like Shen Yu, they were both Shen Yu himself!

Now, Shen Yu had already found the answer in the Gray Mist Space. From the very moment he obtained it, his soul had in fact split apart, scattering into different worlds, reincarnating anew.

That's also why they could survive in this Gray Mist Space!

"I really thought I'd merely transmigrated and been reborn, and without any cheat codes at that—never expected this, never expected..." Martial Artist Shen Yu also murmured, looking at the former self before him, his emotions churning.

When he first transmigrated, he'd reminisced about his past more than once, worrying about his parents, friends, family.

He truly never expected that a day would come when he'd see 'himself' like this.

So that means, in truth, he never left, and his parents, friends, family don't have to suffer the pain of losing him?

That's not so bad.

"Based on the information we just received, this place is called the Gray Mist Space?" The other cyborg Shen Yu also spoke up, but his tone was calmer. "The reason we're in this situation must stem from this mysterious space. Furthermore, I can sense that the main body here has higher permissions than I do—not only in the Gray Mist Space, but in other aspects as well."

"True enough," Martial Artist Shen Yu stroked his chin. "Our relationship seems a bit like the external incarnation from myth and legend; both Taoists and Buddhists have similar divine powers. There's the Five Forms of the Divine Marshal, united as one, and the Buddhists have that famous verse: 'Incarnations countless as hundreds of millions...' "

"We'll study all that later." Cyborg Shen Yu cut him off, his usually expressionless face now showing a hint of eagerness and a measure of nervousness. "Mom and Dad… are they alright?"

Martial Artist Shen Yu also fell silent, looking at Shen Yu with the same expression.

Although, after transmigrating, each of them had their own parents, families, and friends, the 'childhood' deep in their memories was still rooted in that former Blue Star.

Countless nights, in quiet solitude, they'd thought longingly of that homeland and family they could never return to.

"They're still alright for now." Shen Yu's expression grew somewhat melancholic. "But who knows about the future."

That was also the thing he feared most.

If it really is the apocalypse, maybe he'll scrape by in the Gray Mist Space, but what about the others?

The Gray Mist Space—they can't get in!

"Why do you say that?"

Shen Yu's worries weren't hidden, and the other two sensed it, quickly asking.

Shen Yu decided to tell them everything happening on the human Mother Star.

But he hadn't expected that, after finishing, the two before him would be even more shocked than he'd imagined.

"What the hell is going on!" Martial Artist Shen Yu even swore out loud. "End of the world in this life would be bad enough, but now the world from the previous life is ending too?"

"Hm?" Shen Yu was stunned, narrowing his eyes. "Your world is ending too?"

"That's right." Martial Artist Shen Yu let out a long sigh. "Ice Age? Dark Era? Something like that. The sun isn't worth a damn anymore—looks like it's about to die. Worst of all, it's a martial arts world, everyone just wants to fight, can't even farm, let alone master fasting... Hm?"

Martial Artist Shen Yu seemed to notice something too, and, together with Shen Yu, turned to look at Cyborg Shen Yu.

This time, Cyborg Shen Yu's expression was extremely grave.

Under their gaze, he nodded heavily.

"In my world, human civilization has been interstellar for two centuries, but we've run into terrifying alien enemies and we're retreating nonstop. So far there's little hope of victory."

"This—" Martial Artist Shen Yu inhaled sharply.

Once might be a coincidence, twice—luck. But three times? That's probably not random anymore.

There's no telling whether there might be a fourth or fifth incarnation in other worlds.

If so… chances are that's apocalypse too?

"Sounds dire, but—" Shen Yu was the first to recover, though the reality shocked him, he was not pessimistic. "Since you're both here, things are different. Now we have three worlds. As long as we resist a little, and we add the Gray Mist Space..."

"That's right." Cyborg Shen Yu nodded vigorously.

With the Biological Chip in his mind, he'd already realized this.

The mist in the Gray Mist Space is similar to the concept of 'merit.'

If we can stop the apocalypse, the merit speaks for itself.

Interconnecting worlds is definitely better than fighting alone.

It's as if fate arranged this from the very start.

"Looks like we need to cooperate even more closely." Shen Yu looked at the other two. "We're all the same person, no need for words. Furthermore, our link seems to go beyond memories and awareness from before eighteen."

He reached out his hand. Ever since meeting the other two, he'd felt something more unique.

As though he could get something from them.

This sense was not Shen Yu's alone; both the others felt something similar.

And when three hands overlapped, the feeling grew much stronger!

Their connection was definitely more than just memories!

Especially, Shen Yu as the main body, was clearly in the dominant position.

He was the main body, the other two were incarnations—unmistakably so!

To the point where all three had a hunch—

If anything happened to Shen Yu, the others would be affected too.

Shared memories, a leading presence, external threats, aligned interests… all these add up to build a highly trusting, even inseparable bond.

"By the way," Shen Yu suddenly remembered those outside people and looked at Martial Artist Shen Yu, "You said your world is a martial arts world? What can you do there?"

There was a certain curiosity, and expectation, in his eyes.

Martial Arts? Is it really the kind he imagined?

"Yes, Martial Arts!" Martial Artist Shen Yu's lips curled up, speaking with some emotion. "This is true extraordinary power—the body as main path, primordial spirit as support. I don't know who the strongest is, but when I was six, I saw someone destroy a city with a single sword slash! It was a city with hundred-meter-high walls, where hundreds of thousands had lived!"

You could tell, even now, Martial Artist Shen Yu still held a trace of old awe in his heart.

That was the first time he'd witnessed the power of his own world!

"Gao Wu!"

Both Shen Yu and interstellar world Shen Yu's eyes immediately lit up.

Given the situation, the stronger each world is, the better!
