Not many stores around here are open 24 hours.
Chen Yiyang finally found a small hot pot restaurant and went in with the leather jacket girl.
Although this hot pot restaurant is open 24 hours, there's actually only a front desk clerk minding the store late at night.
But Chen Yiyang didn't mind, and had the clerk help prepare a pot. Then he and the leather jacket girl picked some ingredients that still looked fresh.
"Want to drink beer?"
"You didn't ride your motorcycle today, did you?"
"I did."
"Then forget it." For safety's sake, Chen Yiyang said, "Let's go with some sugar-free drinks instead."
So the two of them grabbed some colas, then sat down to wait for the water in the pot to boil.
Chen Yiyang kind of wanted to clear up the misunderstanding from before directly.
But he thought it might be too abrupt to say it straight out.
So he first said to the leather jacket girl,
"Actually, I saw you again a few days ago, but you didn't recognize me."
