Gugu circled high in the sky, calling out continuously. Its silhouette was soon spotted by the contestants around the manor.
In an instant, the regional channel exploded. Any contestant who knew a bit about Fang Zhou recognized that this Pearl Bird, Gugu, was his eye in the sky. With the Pearl Bird at the manor, Fang Zhou was certainly nearby.
The manor's outer wall was, in effect, a solid fortress wall. To the contestants, it was an insurmountable barrier. The walls were covered with demons that had mutated from the original guards. Aside from the main gate, the other three sides were bordered by a vile moat. The water gleamed strangely under the dim lights, and occasionally, massive shadows could be seen gliding beneath the surface. The contestants could even see large, barb-scaled fish swimming in the moat, their appearance alone enough to make one recoil in fear.
