Jiang Qi stopped the car exactly where Shen Yi had told him to, and he looked outside to find the incomplete building that stood tall with no signs of life around it, so without waiting even for a second, he stepped out and rushed into the building through the wide open entrance, not caring that the place looked like it hadn't been touched for months.
He searched the down floor thoroughly but saw no one, and though his heart was already starting to race, he didn't stop to think too much and quickly climbed the stairs, which were still rough and not yet cemented. When he reached the second floor, he again looked around but it was just as empty as the floor below, and he began to feel a strange panic rise in his chest.
