It was late, around three in the morning, when Jiang Qi stormed into the hospital carrying Shen Yi tightly in his arms. Xu Bo and a few bodyguards followed behind him quickly, while the rest remained outside to guard the hospital entrance.
Doctors and nurses rushed over the moment they saw him, and Shen Yi was immediately placed on a stretcher before being pushed into the operation room.
Jiang Qi followed after them, but a nurse blocked his way and told him firmly, "Sir, you need to wait outside."
His chest tightened but he stopped, standing frozen in front of the door. Back and forth, doctors and nurses came in and out of the room, but none of them spoke a single word to him.
