Shen Yi sat down on the couch, his face dark with unhappiness. He leaned back, but the tension in his shoulders gave him away.
Beside him was Jiang Qi, seated on the wheelchair. His gaze was blank, lost somewhere far away, as though he was watching nothing. On the opposite side sat Doctor Qin, the same doctor from the previous day. Unlike the other two, the doctor's expression was light, almost cheerful, with a hint of surprise.
In his hand was Shen Yi's phone, the screen glowing faintly. Doctor Qin stared at it for a moment, then lifted his eyes to Shen Yi. He turned the phone so that Shen Yi could see the words written on the screen.
"Did he really write this?" Doctor Qin asked, his voice filled with disbelief.
Shen Yi frowned, his brows furrowing deeper as the memory of earlier replayed in his mind.

After Jiang Qi nodding weakly indicating he needed something, he pointed towards Shen Yi's phone. At first, Shen Yi thought Jiang Qi wanted to make a call.
