The next three days passed in a blur. Shen Yi had gotten Jiang Qi a tablet, for them to communicate more efficiently. Jiang Qi was also improving and healing fast. His hands were much faster than before and he could now eat by himself, and even do some minor tasks without much help.
At the moment, the two were outside. Jiang Qi was sitting on his wheelchair while Shen Yi was taking a swim in the pool. Jiang Qi's eyes followed him keenly, and in short breaks, Shen Yi also glanced at him.
After about five minutes, Shen Yi climbed out of the pool. A few strands of his long wet hair, which had been tied, now fell loose against his forehead. Droplets ran down his masculine but not overly large chest, sliding and falling onto the tiles. Jiang Qi's eyes trailed after Shen Yi, and for a moment he seemed to be in a daze.
Shen Yi noticed those eyes lingering on him and whispered under his breath with a small satisfied smile.
"Old habits never die," he said softly to himself.
