Chapter 191 - Chapter 191: Edo Tensei Hashirama

It's a shame, this kid is good in every way, except for one thing, he is Izuna's grandson. Tobirama Senju shook his head and pulled himself together.

The politician's fake smile appeared on his face. "I am Tobirama Senju, Tsunade's second grandfather. My elder brother is Hashirama Senju, Tsunade's biological grandfather, and also the First Hokage of Konoha."

Ryun Uchiha did not speak, only listened as Tobirama recounted some basic information, his expression showing no change at all.

Tsunade, however, frowned and looked at Tobirama with some displeasure. Tobirama's mouth twitched; he really didn't understand what kind of spell this young man called Ryun had cast on Tsunade!

"Our generation did too much for peace, yet we still felt it wasn't enough. But fate played tricks. If you are willing..." Before Tobirama could finish, Izuna Uchiha slapped him.

"Tobirama Senju, have you no shame! Trying to use Ryun Uchiha to resurrect you and your brother, you wish!" Izuna Uchiha roared.

After being slapped away, Tobirama covered his Edo Tensei face and coldly shouted, "Izuna, you don't understand. You died at twenty, still a youth. You have no idea how much my brother and I sacrificed for peace!"

"I don't give a damn about your peace! You want my grandson to waste this eye to resurrect you and your brother? I disagree!" Izuna Uchiha waved his hand dismissively.

Although Izuna Uchiha often mocked and teased his grandson, if anything happened to him, he would risk his life to ensure his grandson's safety.

"Izuna, I know there are misunderstandings between us, but Ryun Uchiha's ability is too important. Do you want the Konoha that your brother and my brother built together to be coveted, plotted against, and decline?" Tobirama said coldly.

"Heh, you can't do it."

"What are you saying? I don't understand."

"You can't do it."

"Enough! Izuna, is that all you can say?"

"You can't do it!"

"..."

Tobirama fell silent, gritting his teeth. Just then, Ryun Uchiha spoke. "Lord Second Hokage, I originally planned to resurrect you and the First Hokage. This is a gift from me, as a husband, to Tsunade."

"She lost her grandfather when she was young, and her second grandfather when she grew up. Though she doesn't say it, I understand how much it hurt her to lose her loved ones one by one. For her sake, I will resurrect you," Ryun Uchiha said calmly.

"However, if you incite the villagers again, play some underhanded democratic election tricks, or manipulate the First Hokage, don't blame me for not caring about our family ties!" Ryun Uchiha stated firmly.

These words shocked everyone present. No one expected Ryun Uchiha to care so deeply for Tsunade that he was willing to sacrifice one of his Mangekyō Sharingan eyes for her!

Tobirama frowned. However, for the sake of rebirth and continuing to protect Konoha, Tobirama decided to play along.

"Of course, I only wish to continue dedicating myself to protecting Konoha! I believe my brother feels the same way," Tobirama said, glancing at Ryun Uchiha. This part was not a lie.

"Grandfather, enough. Step aside. My mind is made up," Ryun Uchiha said to Izuna Uchiha, coaxing him.

Izuna Uchiha snorted coldly, glanced at Tobirama with contempt, but when he looked at Ryun Uchiha, his expression was filled with worry and pride.

Ryun Uchiha was willing to sacrifice his Sharingan for his wife—this was the passionate love unique to the Uchiha clan.

Tsunade's eyes reddened. "Ryun, maybe forget it. If you do this, you'll go blind, right?" She hugged Ryun Uchiha and cried bitterly.

Although she deeply wanted her grandfather and second grandfather resurrected—they were her pillars of support, and with them around, she could live a happy life—compared to Ryun's health, none of that mattered. She didn't want Ryun Uchiha to go blind; she wanted him to be well.

Tobirama turned away, not wanting to watch. Just a little longer, just a little longer, and he would be resurrected. This was an opportunity! A chance for Konoha to rise to the top of the shinobi world again!

Ryun Uchiha smiled. "Don't worry, Tsunade." He patted her back, then took out a White Zetsu from a scroll as a sacrifice.

Then, he smiled at Hiruzen Sarutobi and said, "Lord Hokage, please give me some of Lord Hashirama's cells!"

Tobirama looked surprised. What did he just hear? Hashirama's cells? He turned to Hiruzen Sarutobi, his eyes scrutinizing.

Monkey, what have you done? How do you have my brother's cells?

Hiruzen Sarutobi widened his eyes in disbelief, looking at Ryun Uchiha. Seriously, man, are you cheating? I just decided yesterday to start the Hashirama cell project and took some flesh. How did you know already?

This wasn't Ryun Uchiha's fault; his perception was astonishing. He sensed a piece of extremely vibrant life force flesh on Hiruzen Sarutobi and made an educated guess.

Hiruzen Sarutobi looked uncomfortable, glancing at the Second Hokage, Tobirama Senju. Tobirama nodded, signaling him to hand it over.

Hiruzen sighed. Well, there goes the experiment. He took out a piece of flesh wrapped in a bag and handed it to Ryun Uchiha without any explanation.

Ryun Uchiha smiled, then clapped his hands together. The Edo Tensei technique activated. A coffin appeared, enveloping the White Zetsu, and then the coffin opened.

A man with long, straight black hair reaching past his waist, wearing red Warring States-era armor, slowly stepped out of the stone coffin. It was the First Hokage, the God of Shinobi, Hashirama Senju!

He opened his eyes, looking confused. When he saw Tobirama Senju, his eyes lit up, and he quickly asked, "Tobirama, what's going on?"

Hashirama's voice carried confusion, warmth, and the sternness of an elder brother, and he scratched his head.

After Tobirama explained the situation, Hashirama immediately said, "Ryun Uchiha, right? You don't need to resurrect me. Resurrect Madara instead."

His expression was sincere and serious.

These words shocked everyone present. Faced with the chance of resurrection, Hashirama Senju was willing to give it up for his best friend.

Izuna Uchiha looked conflicted, opened his mouth, but ultimately turned away. He couldn't forgive Hashirama on his brother's behalf. His brother had suffered so much because of Hashirama's indecisiveness. How could he forgive him just because of these words?

"Hashirma, no need. I'm here." The appearance of Madara Uchiha made Tobirama's pupils shrink, while Hashirama's heart leaped with joy!

"Madara, you're resurrected? No, wait! You didn't die?" Hashirama was first excited, then thoughtful, and finally shook his head.

"That's right, I didn't die." Madara Uchiha's lips curved into a smile. He had rushed over the moment Hashirama was summoned by the Edo Tensei.

What he didn't expect was that Hashirama was still as foolish and naive as before, willing to give up the readily available chance at resurrection for him!

Well, it's Hashirama. He's just a bit dumb, a bit indecisive, a bit naive. Being resurrected is fine too; he can keep me company and fight with me.

Tears streamed down Hashirama's face.

"Madara, I thought I killed you with my own hands. I was so guilt-ridden I couldn't muster any spirit, and eventually died depressed."

Madara looked at him. Even though he wanted to act fierce and call him pathetic, seeing Hashirama's tears, he could only sigh.

"Alright, stop crying! How old are you! You're a grandfather now!" Madara Uchiha roared. "You shut up!"

Scolded like this, Hashirama sat on the ground hugging his knees, devoid of any dignity befitting a legendary shinobi.
