We woke abruptly to the sound of someone trying to kick the door down. It opened with a bang and scattered trying to get dressed. Standing in the doorway watching us was none other than Luna Kirsten. I swear if looks could kill, I'd be like poof and gone. She was furious and looked hideous.
"What the fuck do you two think you're doing?" The Luna screeched
We were too busy looking for our clothes to answer her back and Logan looked very pissed off, as if he was gonna burst at any given moment.
"I demand to.." she shouted but got stopped mid sentence.
"Mom, would you shut the fuck up! Shouting here like a crazy person, this is not even your place. Luna or not, you cannot barge into people's homes when it suits you. If you must know the obvious, I spent the night with my mate." He says determined.
"Ah excuse me mister! That is no way to speak to your mother! And did you forget what I said? This mating will never be allowed!" She shouts.
"We'll see mom, I will mark her no matter what anyone has to say. In fact I think I will go down to the elders today and let them know I found my mate and to arrange the mating ceremony. They will be thrilled whether my mate has a wolf or not, she completes me and make me stronger." Logan says while smiling.
I joined Logan's side and clutched his arm. He took me into his arms to show his mother that we will stand united no matter what.
His mother took one big step towards us and grabbed my arm, pulling me into her. Then she wielded a silver knife to my throat. Logan tried to get me back but when he saw the silver knife he put his hands up and said
"Mom stop! What are you doing, please don't hurt her! I beg you."
"Mmm the only way you will listen huh? I want both of you to reject each other here and now or I will kill this baby and kill the mother too. This silver knife, when stabbed directly into the stomach will immediately kill the baby and poison the blood, you will be unable to have children again" She says through gritted teeth
"Sounds like you've thought this through already Luna? Please don't hurt my baby, I beg you" I started crying
"Mom please stop this madness." Logan says defeated.
"Reject her now!" Mom shouts
"No mom, no I won't do that!" Logan says defiantly
"Well then say goodbye to your baby!" She shouts
"No no please!" I yelled and cried.
Luna Kirsten moved the knife towards my stomach but I stopped her hand from moving any further.
"Please Luna don't do this." I cry
"Then you reject him! Now!" She yells
I turned to face Logan and locked eyes with him, he had tears strolling down his face as he shaked his head in refusal.
"Baby don't do this! Please!" He cries
