Chapter 14 - “ I've Never Wanted Anything.... Until You”

Boss's POV

He wasn't used to feeling uncertain.

He ruled everything. His school. His home. His world. People feared him, envied him, wanted him... but no one had ever touched him the way Sea did. Not physically—no, Boss had barely touched him yet in the way he truly wanted. But emotionally?

Sea was already inside his head. Inside his fucking chest.

Boss watched him from afar again, leaning against the rooftop railing, cigarette lit but forgotten between his fingers. Sea was sitting under the sakura tree, flipping pages of some dusty old poetry book like the world wasn't burning around him.

Why are you so calm? When I'm going insane?

Nick's words echoed in his head: "If you don't speak up, someone else will get him."

No. Not happening.

Boss crushed the cigarette, turned on his heel, and walked.

---

Sea jumped a little when he saw Boss walking up to him, sharp in his all-black uniform, eyes unreadable. But Boss didn't say a word. He just sat next to him. Close. Too close.

Sea cleared his throat, avoiding his gaze. "Something wrong?"

Boss chuckled darkly. "You really don't know what you're doing to me?"

Sea blinked. "What do you mean—?"

Boss took his wrist, pulled him close until they were nose-to-nose. "You walk around this place like you're invisible. Like no one sees you. But I see everything about you."

His voice dropped to a whisper.

"Your silence. Your kindness. Your strength when people try to break you. I see how you curl into yourself when you're scared. And yet... you still walk."

Sea's breath hitched. "Why are you telling me this?"

Boss's hand gently cupped his cheek. "Because I'm not good with words. I destroy things. I own things. I don't love things... but then you happened."

Silence. Sharp. Real.

Boss lowered his gaze.

"I think... I love you, Sea."

Sea's eyes widened.

"I don't know how to be gentle. I don't know how to love the right way. But if you'll have me—even if it's just a little—I want to be yours. Not your owner. Not your Boss. Just... yours."

---

Sea didn't speak for a long time.

His heart was beating too loud. Too fast.

But then he reached out. Just one small touch—his fingers over Boss's.

And whispered, "Okay."
