Chapter 28 - “TAKEN”

The rain wouldn't stop that night. It pattered against the dorm windows, soft like a lullaby—almost too soft. Sea curled deeper into his bed, wrapping his blanket around himself, trying to feel anything but the growing ache in his chest. Boss hadn't come. No messages. No threats. No touches. No presence.

Silence.

But Sea had grown used to danger wearing silk gloves.

A soft knock echoed at the door.

He blinked. His roommate was out. No one was supposed to be here.

Another knock—then the sound of the doorknob jiggling.

Sea sat up slowly, heart thudding.

Then—

BANG.

The door burst open. Black boots stomped in, three men with covered faces and gloves. Sea froze, breath caught in his throat.

"No—" he tried to scream.

A cloth slammed over his mouth. He fought, kicked, scratched, but they were faster, trained. His limbs weakened as something sharp stung into his neck.

His last sight was the dark figure in the hallway.

A man. Not masked.

A man he recognized from a photo in Boss's penthouse.

That scar. That smile.

"Take him," the man said.

"Let's see how far my nephew is willing to burn for this little pet."

Scene Cuts —

Nick ran down the hallway, holding his phone. "Where the hell is he?!"

Van's voice echoed from another hall. "He's not picking up—Sea's not in class!"

Then—

Boss stood outside the dorm.

Still. Silent.

Face unreadable.

Until he saw the broken door.

Then his phone rang.

A blocked number.

He answered.

A familiar voice whispered,

"Your toy screamed beautifully."

Click.

Boss dropped the phone.

The storm didn't matter anymore.

Hell had been set loose.
