Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The Dragon of Infinity and Earth's Heroes

Chaos reigned supreme in the streets of New York. Explosions ripped through the air, screams blended with the roars of Leviathans and the crackle of Chitauri laser fire. Amid the pandemonium, Naruto stood beside Tony Stark, Iron Man's red-and-gold armor sharply contrasting with the young man's jeans and hooded jacket.

"So, kid, ready for the big show?" Tony quipped, his repulsors lighting up. "We've got some guests who don't want to leave. And they've got this nasty habit of wrecking my buildings."

Naruto nodded, a determined smile on his face. "I'm ready. Just tell me where to help."

"J.A.R.V.I.S., scan the area. Priority to trapped civilians and major threats," Tony ordered. "Naruto, see those big flying slugs? The Leviathans. They're our big problem. And those little guys swarming everywhere? Chitauri. There's a lot of them, but they're not exactly geniuses."

A group of Chitauri charged at them, weapons raised. Before Tony could react, Naruto raised his hand. Time seemed to freeze around the Chitauri. Their lasers hung motionless mid-air, their movements locked in aggression. With a flick of his wrist, Naruto twisted and shattered their weapons. Then, he released his hold on time. The disarmed and confused Chitauri were blown away by an invisible gust of wind, slammed into a wall, and knocked unconscious.

Tony let out a low whistle. "Okay, time control and reality manipulation. Fancy stuff. You got a full list of those superpowers, or are we going à la carte?"

"It's… a lot," Naruto admitted, slightly uneasy. "I can do many things. But I'm not used to using them like this."

"Good news, we're winging it anyway," Tony replied. "Look up! Cap and Thor are handling the portal. Hulk's doing his thing. Widow and Hawkeye are on the ground. We're a team, even if we argue more than we help each other."

A giant Leviathan tore through the sky, spewing debris. Tony flew up to intercept it, blasting it with repulsors that barely slowed it down. "These things are tanky! J.A.R.V.I.S., give me something that can crack this armor!"

Naruto observed. He had disintegrated a Leviathan earlier, but he didn't want to just erase them. He wanted something... impactful. Something that would inspire fear.

He felt the infinite power within him. He could control the elements, chaos, life, death. He could create.

"Tony!" Naruto shouted, his voice cutting through the battlefield noise. "I think I've got an idea for these big guys!"

"I'm all ears, kid! Make it fast—this one's about to turn me into armor soup!" Tony yelled, dodging a massive tail swing.

Naruto closed his eyes. He visualized—not a creature, but a manifestation of raw power. He drew from primordial chaos, from the elements, from the infinite energy flowing through him. The ground trembled, not from explosions, but from his will alone.

The air around him began to swirl. Blue and gold lightning crackled from his body, striking nearby buildings without causing harm. The wind roared, and fragments of debris, broken pipes' water, and sparks from nearby fires gathered before him, defying gravity.

Tony, having just dodged another attack, caught a glimpse. "J.A.R.V.I.S., what's he doing? I'm getting massive energy spikes—this is off the charts!"

"Sir, the readings are unmeasurable. The energy is cosmic in nature... and of unknown magnitude."

Naruto opened his eyes, glowing gold. Before him, from nothingness, a form began to take shape—not a chakra summon, but a creation of reality itself.

Deep blue scales laced with gold formed, each the size of a shield. Razor-sharp claws of stone and raw energy appeared. A massive maw opened, unleashing a roar so powerful it silenced the battlefield for an instant—a roar that echoed across Manhattan. Gigantic wings of swirling wind and light unfurled, casting enormous shadows over the war-torn streets.

It was a dragon. A colossal dragon, born from energy and elements, its eyes glowing with fierce intelligence, its body radiating primordial power. Larger than any Leviathan, more majestic—and far more terrifying.

"Oh. My. God," Tony gasped, hovering nearby. "He just… made a dragon. A giant freakin' dragon! J.A.R.V.I.S., snap a pic—no, snap a thousand! That's the coolest thing I've ever seen!"

The dragon, obeying Naruto's silent will, turned its head toward the Leviathan threatening Tony. Without a sound, it surged upward, its wings beating with cyclonic force.

Across the city, the Avengers all looked skyward.

Captain America, in the middle of a skirmish, stared. "What the…?"

Thor, fresh from smashing a group of Chitauri, looked up, his eyes wide. "By Odin! What creature is this? From the higher realms?"

Hulk, pounding a Leviathan into scrap, paused and grunted in surprise. Even he seemed impressed.

Black Widow, perched on a rooftop, lowered her binoculars. "Fury, are you seeing this? We've got a dragon. A real dragon. And it looks friendly."

"I see it, Romanoff. And I have no idea where it came from. But if it's helping…" replied Nick Fury, his voice filled with disbelief.

The dragon struck. It didn't use its claws. It opened its mouth—and from it burst a blinding beam of pure energy and cosmic fire. The blast hit the Leviathan head-on. This wasn't an attack—it was annihilation. The creature disintegrated into glowing ash within seconds, leaving only smoke in its wake.

The dragon roared again in triumph, then turned toward the other Leviathans.

"Kid, you're a genius. Or a god. Maybe both!" Tony exclaimed, flying beside the beast. "How the hell did you do that? Can you make more? We've got plenty more where that came from!"

"I can," Naruto said, his voice stronger now. He felt his connection to the dragon—a living extension of his will. "It's a manifestation of my power. I can make as many as we need."

"Then do it!" Tony shouted. "We need an air force!"

Naruto closed his eyes again. This time, it was faster. Energy swirled, and beside the first dragon, a second appeared—smaller, emerald green, its eyes blazing red. Then a third, deep violet, its wings crackling with lightning.

Three titanic dragons soared over New York. They dove into the Leviathan swarm, roaring, their elemental breath incinerating the alien beasts. The aerial battle became a hunt. The once-unstoppable Leviathans were now prey.

On the ground, Captain America turned to the others. "Who is that kid? And where did those dragons come from?"

"No clue," Black Widow replied, firing her pistols. "But he's on our side. And he just gave us a huge advantage."

Hawkeye added while launching explosive arrows, "Don't care where he's from—he fights better than most of us. And those dragons? Way more efficient than any missile."

Thor landed nearby, awe in his eyes. "This is not Asgardian magic. Nor Jotun sorcery. This is something older—something elemental. He wields the essence of creation itself. He is… a being of cosmic power."

Hulk, finished smashing another Leviathan, looked up at the dragons and gave a giant thumbs-up. "Dragon. Good."

Tony flew in formation with the dragons, blasting Chitauri with renewed energy. "J.A.R.V.I.S., try communicating with him—or them. I want blueprints. Specs. Production models!"

"Sir, I can't establish a link. Their energy signatures are… unique. The boy controls them by sheer willpower."

"Sheer willpower, huh? I like that," Tony muttered. "Naruto! You're a game-changer! We're gonna win this war because of you!"

Back on the ground, Naruto continued shaping the battlefield—walls of wind repelled Chitauri, gravity wells trapped them, lightning bolts stunned them. He only killed when necessary. He could feel the civilians' fear, the Avengers' desperation, and their determination. He was here to help.

As the dragons cleared the skies, the Chitauri portal began to weaken, strained by the Leviathans' destruction and the Avengers' relentless push. From the Stark Tower, Loki watched, furious.

"Who is this interloper?!" he snarled, slamming his scepter. "He wasn't in the plan! He's not from this world!"

The final Leviathans fell, and the dragons dissipated into particles of light, returning to the infinite energy from which they were born. The sky, still filled with smoke, was finally clear of giant threats.

The battle wasn't over, but the tide had turned. The Chitauri, now lacking heavy support, were easier to manage. The Avengers, empowered by this miraculous ally, fought harder.

Tony landed near Naruto, his helmet retracting. His face was smudged with soot and sweat, but his eyes sparkled.

"Naruto, you just changed the whole damn game. I don't know who you are or where you came from, but you're the best thing to happen to this city since cheeseburgers." He extended a hand. "I'm Tony Stark. And I think we're gonna be great friends. We've got a lot to talk about after this."

Naruto took his hand, warmth and belonging flooding his chest. "Naruto Uzumaki. And I'm glad I could help."

"Help? You saved our asses, kid. And the asses of a few million New Yorkers!" Tony laughed—a rough, sincere laugh. "Now if you'll excuse me, I've got a Norse god, a super soldier, a spy, an archer, and a giant green guy who need to meet our new MVP. Then we're shutting that portal and grabbing shawarma. You like shawarma?"

Naruto shrugged. "I don't know what that is, but I'm hungry."

"Perfect answer," Tony grinned, clapping him on the shoulder. "Come on. We've still got work to do."

As the sound of emergency sirens grew louder and the last Chitauri were pushed back, Naruto felt... at peace. The chaos didn't bother him. He had a purpose. And for the first time in a long time, he wasn't alone.

He had helped.

And he had found a friend.
