The kidnapper's voice was distorted.
"Bring Dami. Alone. Or the boy dies."
Anita sobbed. Teni couldn't believe she was even helping the woman.
"Why should we trust you?" Dami asked the voice.
"You trusted your father once. That got your mother killed."
The phone cut.
Silence.
