Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Rebirth of a Devil Prince

The glowing interface hovered before Kaito—six empty slots, each pulsing with quiet, ominous energy. The Great G stood nearby, arms crossed, watching with a grin that wavered between amused curiosity and divine menace.

"You have six choices," G said. "But only one life. Don't pick like a kid in a candy store. Pick like a king building an empire."

Kaito smirked. "I already have a blueprint."

He raised his hand and touched the first slot.

[1] Hypnosis MasteryThe power to influence thoughts, emotions, and memories through voice or eye contact. Most mental defenses are ineffective. Evolves with use.

"Useful for persuasion… and breaking rules quietly," he muttered.

Then the second.

[2] Genetic & Biological ControlAnalyze, modify, or evolve any biological organism, including yourself. Heal, enhance, mutate, or create entirely new lifeforms.

"For when brains alone don't win wars."

He tapped the third.

[3] Ironmind IntelligenceAccess a hyper-intelligent cognitive state equal to a high-end synthetic AI. Limitless learning, instant processing, creative genius. Think Ironman meets Dr. Doom.

Kaito grinned. "Cortana, here I come."

The fourth slot pulsed brighter as he pressed it.

[4] Infinite Growth PotentialA passive trait. Removes all growth caps. Skills, power, intelligence, magic—everything improves endlessly through effort.

"I've had enough ceilings in life," Kaito said. "Not this time."

Then came the fifth.

[5] Inventory Space-Time SystemA personal pocket dimension with infinite capacity. Time is frozen inside. Accessible via thought. Undetectable. Perfect for tools... or bodies.

He nodded. "No more losing gear. Or evidence."

Finally, the sixth.

Kaito placed his palm over the last slot, eyes gleaming.

[6] Divine System Core: Sign-In & Gacha EngineA system interface synced to the local world. Daily logins, randomized draws, dynamic quests, achievements, stat tracking—and scalable Gacha luck.

"I used to gamble on stock tickers," he said. "Now I roll dice with the universe."

As the final choice locked in, the space around him shuddered.

The six powers ignited like stars, forming a glowing halo around his body. Golden symbols etched themselves across his skin. His eyes glowed with a light not meant for mortals.

Even G looked impressed. "You're going all-in on power, utility, and long-term advantage. I've seen many reincarnators, Kaito… but you may be the first to treat rebirth like a venture-backed startup."

Kaito grinned. "I lost everything by playing someone else's game. This time—I'm building my own."

G spread his arms. "So. What's your world?"

"High School DxD," Kaito said without hesitation. "Devils, dragons, politics, sacred gear… and enough chaos to bury myself in."

"Ah," G chuckled. "The land of overpowered perverts and underdressed battle angels. Classic choice."

He snapped his fingers, and the interface dissolved.

"And where exactly do you want to land?"

"I want to be Millicas Gremory—born to Sirzechs Lucifer and Grayfia Lucifuge. Keep the name, keep the bloodline—but this time, with me inside."

G whistled low. "That puts you right in the center of the Underworld's royal court. You'll be watched. Feared. Expected to be... 'proper.'"

Kaito's smirk widened. "Let them watch."

"You really are insane," G muttered. "And I love it."

He clapped once—and reality cracked.

Somewhere in the Underworld...

A newborn opened his eyes.

Crimson irises stared out with unnatural sharpness. Too focused. Too calm.

Grayfia Lucifuge, exhausted and radiant, looked down at her child. Her silver eyes widened."He's already… aware?"

The baby didn't cry. Just stared. Observing. Calculating.

From the corner of the room, Sirzechs Lucifer chuckled softly. "He's going to be special. I can feel it."

Grayfia smiled faintly. "Millicas… welcome to the world."

The name echoed through the ancient halls of Gremory Manor.

But inside the infant's mind, Kaito's voice whispered—full of amusement and danger.

[System Initialization Complete.]Welcome back, Kaito Fujimoto.Daily Sign-In Available.Would you like to draw your first Gacha roll?

Kaito mentally grinned.

Oh, hell yes.
