Chapter 18 - Chapter 18 Opening

The Curtain Rises

After reluctantly assigning a task to Yui Yuigahama, Qianshu Lian finally breathed a sigh of relief. Yui Yuigahama liked and was good at karaoke, but this skill was useless for a game development club.

As for the game's background music, Yui Yuigahama was completely unnecessary, as background music was generally instrumental, and parts that truly required human vocals were very few.

Even if there were vocal parts, they were usually choral sections, with no actual dialogue.

So, besides trying to help her improve her cooking skills, Qianshu Lian couldn't think of any other solutions.

Now, for some unknown reason, since she came with Hachiman Hikigaya, Qianshu Lian subsequently dismissed the club.

Immediately after Qianshu Lian walked out of the clubroom door and locked it, countless Black Shadow Troops emerged from the shadows.

They carried the latest graphics cards, hosts, monitors, and other equipment, all of which Qianshu had ordered long ago, as well as some specialized production machines, and even extremely advanced machines that weren't strictly necessary were brought in.

If needed, they could even bring a lithography machine to engrave on-site, but that was completely unnecessary.

After a while, another group of Black Shadow Troops soldiers carried an entire set of kitchen utensils, stoves, and all other tools to begin renovating a section of the classroom area.

This was exactly what Qianshu Lian had just mentioned; the Black Shadow Troops' efficiency was evident.

Even though Qianshu Lian had only just expressed a similar need, the Black Shadow Troops had already swiftly gathered everything required.

By the time they returned tomorrow afternoon, the entire activity room would surely be a refreshing sight.

Indeed, when everyone gathered again at the same time the next day, they all showed expressions of immense surprise.

The activity room, which was originally just comparatively spacious and tidy compared to a regular classroom, had suddenly transformed into a completely different appearance.

The exterior decoration hadn't changed, but the interior now had various computers and other equipment, as well as all sorts of snacks and drinks, chairs that looked incredibly comfortable to lie on, and even a few smaller soft beds.

In another area, there was a small kitchen separated from the main space, and the kitchen door wasn't closed, so one could directly see the situation inside the kitchen.

All sorts of equipment were quite complete, including ovens, induction cookers, gas stoves, dishwashers, and range hoods.

"This change is too big, isn't it? Did one of your subordinate renovation companies get mobilized?"

Hachiman Hikigaya complained while looking at Qianshu Lian.

If it wasn't his own private renovation company, even if he paid someone, it might not be possible to achieve such fast and good results.

"That's not wrong to say, it is indeed a team under my personal command!" Qianshu Lian didn't deny it, but he also didn't directly state which construction company it was under his command.

Anyway, the Black Shadow Troops could also be considered his subordinate team, so saying this couldn't be counted as lying.

"So Mr. Chisaki Ren is a rich second generation? It seems I'm benefiting from you guys and can enjoy myself too~"

Kasumigaoka Shiwa chuckled without any pretense and sat down on a nearby chair. The chair, made of unknown material, perfectly supported her weight, without a single creak or sound.

"This feeling is really comfortable, ah! As expected, only the young masters of wealthy families can enjoy such treatment~"

Kasumigaoka Shiwa stretched her body freely on the chair, feeling a complete sense of relaxation.

"This is great! But all the snacks, coffee, and pastries for today are already prepared. Am I only able to practice my cooking skills?"

Yui Yuigahama sighed as she looked at the various pastries, drinks, and coffee already prepared next to each seat.

She was originally added just to make up the numbers, and now it seemed like she didn't have to do anything, giving her a feeling of being a 'salary thief'.

"You can also play on the computer for a while, or you can exchange ideas with Hachiman and Snow Below. Sometimes good plot inspiration often comes from casual conversations!"

Qianshu Lian said directly. Some things truly couldn't be arranged just by wanting to; without a certain ability, it was useless.

Yui Yuigahama understood this principle, so she obediently chose to go into the kitchen, planning to first practice her cooking skills and see if she could make something for Qianshu Lian and the others to taste.

Then, when she became more familiar and had free time later, she would go and communicate and discuss with Snow Below and the others, so she wouldn't seem so useless.

Hachiman Hikigaya sat down in front of the computer and began browsing, then unconsciously started his complaining.

"Although the computer's configuration makes me happy, I always feel like I'm using a cannon to kill a mosquito. I even feel like I'm not worthy of using such a good computer to write copy!"

"If you feel that way, then try to make your skill level worthy of the computer. It's best if you can surpass the computer!"

Qianshu Lian walked over to Hachiman Hikigaya's side to cheer him on, "At least have more confidence! Isn't liberal arts your strongest subject?"

"With your personality, even if you can't write comedy, I think tragedy shouldn't be a problem!"

Qianshu Lian guided him with a hint of deeper meaning. While happy endings in comedies were pleasing, sometimes tragedies left the deepest impression.

However, Qianshu Lian thought carefully. The original plot in Genshin Impact, due to age restrictions, was always hinted at.

Perhaps it was already quite 'painful', but it clearly wasn't 'painful' too deeply, just like those players who had already been changed by the original miHoYo.

They could already learn to find 'pain' themselves from ordinary plots. How could 'pain' be so inconvenient?!

Haha! Let me try the 'pain'!!!

Qianshu Lian felt that if Hachiman Hikigaya could one day learn that kind of deeply impactful 'painful' writing style.

Then in the future, just by delivering 'pain' and collecting the 'blades' sent by fans, he might be able to get rich.

At that level, even if he only wrote relevant copy or plans at home, he would be able to ensure his standard of living!

Hachiman, I'm laying a solid foundation for your future desire not to go out and work!

Qianshu Lian patted Hachiman Hikigaya's shoulder again amidst his bewildered gaze. No need to thank me, this is what I, your good brother, should do for you!
