Chapter 81 - Chapter 81: Orga and Murrue's Conversation

As the people of Desert Dawn headed to their camp, the Archangel was hidden away.

Mikazuki Augus sat in the cockpit of Gundam Barbatos, looking at the photo he had forgotten about.

"It really brings back memories. This photo was taken before Barbatos was sent to Jupiter for repairs and upgrades, wasn't it?" Orga Itsuka said, his tone a mix of emotions.

Mikazuki leaned back in his chair and chuckled, "Yeah, I just completely forgot about it there."

"But the most unexpected thing is that Akihiro Altland is actually alive, just like us, and has come here," Mikazuki said.

"But Seabook said that Akihiro appeared two months ago, piloting his Gundam Gusion to help Desert Dawn, and then left, destination unknown."

"That's right, according to the big bearded man's intelligence. Akihiro once said he was looking for comrades, so it's certain that he's looking for us with the same idea we have in mind, and we're also searching for each other."

Mikazuki smiled, looking at the Teiwaz logo on the screen, and said to Orga Itsuka, feeling rather good, "Then, we'll probably meet again soon."

"Oh? Is that your intuition telling you?"

"Something like that..."

"Mikazuki."

Just as Mikazuki Augus and Orga Itsuka were talking, Murrue Ramius suddenly appeared beside the open cockpit, looking down into the interior.

Mikazuki looked up and saw it was Murrue, raising his seat.

"What's wrong? Are the discussions over?"

Seeing Mikazuki rise, Murrue stepped back slightly, smiling. "Yes, they agreed to give us support, and the next route has also been decided."

"That's good."

Mikazuki said, intending to put the photo in his pocket, but Murrue spoke up, "Um... can I see the photo~?"

Mikazuki was slightly stunned, took out the photo that was half in his pocket, and handed it to Murrue.

"Here."

"Thank you."

Murrue then carefully examined the photo, which reeked of gunpowder from bullets. The first thing she saw in the photo was Gundam Barbatos and Mikazuki Augus in the middle, along with two girls and a silver-haired man beside him.

"Are all these people members of Tekkadan?"

"Yes, all of them. But... originally there weren't just these people. There were others too, besides those who weren't at headquarters, there were also those who died..." Mikazuki leaned back in his chair, looking at the sunset already hanging in the center of the sky.

"Everyone who died... did many people die in your battles...?"

"Yes, well... I guess I'm also a dead man..." Mikazuki's mouth curved into a self-mocking smile. This wasn't a joke; the last thing he saw in his eyes during the battle on Mars, where he covered Tekkadan's retreat, was a Gjallarhorn Graze in front of him.

"Uh..."

Murrue was moved, looking at the photo filled with stories, her heart filled with an inexplicable feeling.

Sorrow? Sympathy? Or perhaps... pity for Mikazuki?

Mikazuki didn't know what she was thinking. He stood up and, under Murrue's gaze, deactivated his Alaya-Vijnana System.

"I'm going to help Uncle Kojiro. When you're done looking at the photo, just put it inside. The cockpit will close by itself when you leave. If you want to sit inside, that's fine too."

"Okay."

Murrue sat in the cockpit seat as Mikazuki suggested. The Alaya-Vijnana System connected to her back gave a slight tremor, pressing down on Murrue.

She reached out and touched the Alaya-Vijnana System.

"This is... the Alaya-Vijnana System."

"Captain Murrue."

A sudden voice made Murrue flinch, and she scanned her surroundings.

"Who's there?!"

As soon as the words left her mouth, the cockpit closed before Murrue could react.

"Here, here, in front of you."

Murrue looked down. Gundam Barbatos, which was in an unactivated state, had the Teiwaz logo lit up on its screen.

"You... are you talking?"

The Teiwaz logo on the screen flashed again.

"Yes."

Murrue gasped, asking suspiciously, "Is Barbatos talking?"

If the Mobile Suit was really talking, didn't that mean this machine was equipped with artificial intelligence technology? That would be absolutely heaven-defying.

"No, it's not. I'm Orga, Orga Itsuka. The big brother in the photo next to Mikazuki."

Murrue looked down at the photo, the silver-haired man pulling Mikazuki?

"...Orga Itsuka?"

"Yes, it's me. Don't worry too much about my existence. Murrue Ramius, ever since you and I and Mikazuki met, I've been observing you. You... like Mikazuki, right?"

Orga said a shocking thing, making Murrue's face instantly flush.

"You... you..."

"Answer me, do you like Mikazuki? Although it's rude to ask, it's very important. This is a decision that concerns Mikazuki's future, whether he continues to stay on the Archangel or not."

Murrue's pupils contracted slightly, and she took a deep breath, saying, "Yes, I've fallen in love with Mikazuki."

"Sure enough, Lacus Clyne wasn't wrong. Good."

"Lacus? Wait, what does that girl have to do with this? Does she know you exist? Did she tell you that I like Mikazuki?"

Murrue immediately guessed most of the situation.

Orga did not directly answer Murrue's question, pausing for a moment before slowly saying, "Listen, what you hear and see next, you must not tell anyone else besides Mikazuki and Lacus, because... this is not what happened in your world."

"Uh..."

The cockpit suddenly darkened, then slowly lit up again. Murrue looked at her surroundings, her expression one of shock...

"This is..."
