The wolf-like beast growled at Tian Fan. It was twice his size—while Tian Fan himself stood at about 6 feet 3 inches, the beast towered over him. It was likely a mutant beast, one that had already killed the original Tian Fan before Jack obtained this body.

Tian already had all his Ordinary genes maxed out. Suddenly, the System popped up again. Time seemed to stop whenever the System appeared, giving Tian a moment to think and act.

[Ordinary genes maxed out. State your wish.]

The system window displayed text seemingly carved into thin air itself. Tian thought, This isn't technology... it's something else. But he put that thought aside for now and focused on his wish.

His sixth sense guided him toward something he already had—a mutant weapon-type beast soul.

> Mutant Beast Soul: Type – Weapon

Mutant Blood Fang Dagger

The only reason the original Tian had died was due to his lack of armor and cowardice. According to Tian's memories, his parents had even offered him mutant armor, but he'd refused—believing himself superior to others.

Back in the present, Tian thought, he could probably defeat this beast with his adaptive body and the geno arts the original Tian had already learnt- WHAT? Tian shouted the original Tian had never learnt any geno art but not panicking he believed in his adaptive body. But just to be safe... I need armor.

He decided to wish for primitive armor. His sixth sense didn't react, so he didn't think too much about it.

"Give me a primitive beast soul armor," Tian said aloud.

The System calculated, then granted his wish:

[Primitive Beast Soul: Silver Turtle Armor acquired. Eat its flesh #@‡{/+$);#/]

The System glitched in his head, causing a sharp headache.

Summoning the Silver Turtle Armor, a beautiful, shining silver suit of armor appeared and covered Tian from head to toe. He then summoned the Mutant Blood Fang Dagger. Time resumed.

The wolf-like beast lunged forward, attempting to bite off Tian's arm, but thanks to his sixth sense, Tian swiftly dodged and gained distance.

The wolf snarled and leaped again, aiming for Tian's throat. Tian narrowly avoided the beast's jaws and counterattacked, plunging the Blood Fang Dagger deep into the creature's neck. The dagger pierced through flesh and muscle, severely wounding the beast.

Sensing its impending death, the mutant wolf howled with all its strength.

Tian, realizing the danger, began rotating the dagger violently in the beast's throat.

[Mutant Beast: Wind Wolf killed. Eat its flesh to gain 1–10 Geno Points randomly.]

[Beast Soul of Wind Wolf gained – Type: Mount]

But the howl had already been heard. A dozen primitive Wind Wolves emerged from the nearby forest. Tian's sixth sense flared in alarm. Without hesitation, he summoned his newly acquired mount—another Wind Wolf, the same size as the mutant beast he'd just slain.

He quickly loaded the dead mutant wolf's carcass onto the mount's back and climbed up. The Wind Wolf raced off, gliding through the terrain like a breeze.

"I'm really lucky to get exactly the beast soul I needed," Tian thought. Even while carrying the carcass, the mount was faster than any primitive creature.

Soon, he left the dense forest behind and reached a wide, open grass field, where a structure stood.

"Silver Shelter," he muttered.

Taking in the breathtaking view from the mountain, he couldn't help but admire the beauty of the God Sanctuaries. He had only read about them before—never expecting them to be so stunning in reality.

Clad in Silver Turtle Armor and riding the Wind Wolf mount with a mutant beast carcass slung behind him, Tian looked like a war god as he approached the Silver Shelter.

As he rode through, heads turned to look at him.

"Why is everyone staring at me?" Tian wondered. The answer, however, was obvious.

He made his way to his assigned room—each person received one in the First God Sanctuary—and unsummoned all his beast souls. Then, he began cutting pieces of the mutant wolf. There was no rush. He knew Tian's parents wouldn't care—he was the second son, after all, not the first.

His older brother was already a Surpasser, as was their father, even though his brother was only twelve years older. Given that people live up to 200 here, that's like a six-year age gap, Tian thought, while humming his favorite song and cooking the meat.

After preparing it, he took a bite. The meat was waxy, and its texture strange—but it tasted surprisingly good.

[+1 Mutant Geno Point gained]

[+1 Mutant Geno Point gained]

He gained two Geno Points from that meal. "Not bad at all, considering the portion I ate," Tian thought, satisfied. He enjoyed flavorful food.

If this tastes so good, he wondered, how amazing would the truly delicious beasts taste?

His mouth watered at the thought.

Tian didn't want a life of constant battle. He wanted to take things slow, enjoy his journey, and live calmly. He didn't have to worry about money—he was still wealthy, even as the second son.

He decided he would eventually obtain a Super Gene and a Super Body.

With that resolution in mind, Tian made his way to the teleporter, heading home for some much-needed rest. His head still spun from everything that had happened in a single day.
