After the battle with Lancer, Yuuji had a clearer understanding of his own strength. In this world, his power could be considered mid-to-upper tier. After all, there were still many humans who were superior to most Servants.
However, Yuuji felt that if all Holy Grail War opponents were at Lancer's level, Rin's chances of winning the war would be much higher.
When Yuuji returned to Rin's house, he began urging her to accelerate their progress in the war.
"Yuuji, you need to remember that every Servant possesses a unique magical ability called a Noble Phantasm. I know your weapons are powerful, but don't underestimate them." Rin looked at his calm expression and tried to persuade him gently, worried he might get overconfident from his recent victories.
Yuuji knew he didn't fully understand this world, but he also realized that in order to break free of the "game" God had set for him, he needed to push forward faster—before God's plan unfolded as intended.
"Alright, Rin. I'll listen to you." Yuuji finally agreed, not wanting Rin to worry any further.
That afternoon, Rin continued to gather information, while Yuuji sought out Muramasa. After all, he still needed Muramasa's support as a cover during certain operations.
"I'll help you, but I have one request," Muramasa said after a moment of thought.
"What is it?" Yuuji asked.
"Your target is Archer, isn't it? I want you to hold back on him for a while. I want to see him with my own eyes."
Yuuji was puzzled by Muramasa's request. "You… know Archer?"
"Something like that," Muramasa said, his voice distant.
"Alright, I'll hold back—provided I can beat him," Yuuji replied before heading to the Matou household. He had hoped to persuade Sakura, but he already knew it would be impossible. This time, force would have to settle things.
Muramasa watched Yuuji leave, a faint smile forming on his face. "Let's see which will be stronger—the Yuuji of the future or the one who stands before me now."
This time, Yuuji didn't bring Jack or the Nursery Rhyme girl. Bringing them along would only make it easier for the enemy to notice his movements.
When he arrived at the gate of the Matou residence, Sakura and Archer (Red A) were already waiting outside. Yuuji wasn't surprised—Archer's vision and instincts were as sharp as ever.
"Senpai… what are you doing here?" Sakura's voice trembled slightly. It was as if she already knew his intentions, and the thought made her heart ache.
"Sakura… I'm sorry. But for my goal, I have to eliminate you this time," Yuuji said, his tone calm and unwavering as her face twisted in shock and pain.
"Why? Is this all because of my sister? Why do you only think about Rin? Why don't you ever look at me?" Sakura's voice cracked with frustration. Why was Rin always the one who got his attention? Was it simply because Rin was her sister?
"If that's what you think, then fine. Take it as being for Rin," Yuuji replied, not realizing how deeply those words pierced her.
"In that case… Archer, I leave this to you." Sakura's voice was soft, but her decision was firm. Without looking back, she turned and walked into the house.
"Yuuji Emiya, let's settle this once and for all," Archer said, his tone hard and resolute. He had no intention of holding back this time.
"I wouldn't have it any other way, Archer."
Red A remembered their last battle—the strange power of that special sword, and Yuuji's unique swordsmanship, unlike anything of this world. This time, Archer chose to keep his distance and launch ranged attacks first.
Unexpectedly, Yuuji also remembered that Archer had suffered during their previous melee battle. This time, Yuuji would meet range with range—he would unleash Pandora.
Projecting the box-shaped weapon, Yuuji began adjusting its gears.
"That weapon again… another one I've never seen before. Just what have you experienced, Yuuji Emiya?" Archer muttered, narrowing his eyes at the powerful magical energy emanating from Pandora.
The next second, Yuuji switched Pandora into Abomination Mode, transforming it into a crossbow-like form. He fired rapidly.
"So fast!" Archer's eyes widened. He could feel the deadly power behind those bolts. He didn't dare block them directly, choosing instead to dodge as the ground behind him split apart from the impact.
"A magical projectile attack? That's troublesome," Archer thought grimly. He was adept at projection-based weapons, but Pandora's sheer magical force was not something he could easily counter.
"Try this on for size." Yuuji shifted Pandora into Thor Laser Mode and fired directly at Archer.
"Seven Blazing Petal Rings!" Archer called, manifesting the Trojan Hero's Aas Buckler—seven overlapping rings of energy—to shield himself.
At the moment of impact, the seven rings shattered like fragile petals, unable to withstand the full force of the laser. The residual energy blasted Archer backward.
"What a powerful attack, Yuuji Emiya," Archer admitted, blood on his lips. The hit had done far more damage than he had expected.
"Next time, you won't have the chance to fight back. Surrender now. I don't intend to destroy you," Yuuji said calmly, his expression unchanged.
"That's not possible. I am a Servant. If I fail to fulfill my Master's will, then I am no hero at all," Archer replied, his eyes blazing with determination.
Yuuji's gaze was steady. Archer's resolve didn't waver. He began chanting.
"I am the bone of my sword…"
"What kind of skill requires chanting?" Yuuji muttered, watching closely. He didn't rush in to interrupt. He wanted to see what Archer's trump card truly was.
"Steel is my body, and fire is my blood…I have created over a thousand blades…Unknown to death, nor known to life…Have withstood pain to create many weapons…Yet, those hands will never hold anything…So, as I pray…Unlimited Blade Works!"
A blinding light enveloped them.
When Yuuji opened his eyes again, he was standing in a desolate realm alongside Archer. The sky was filled with turning gears, and countless swords pierced the ground, stretching infinitely in every direction.
"So this is your ace… an inherent barrier?" Yuuji muttered, recalling Rin's warning about this rare magic—the closest thing to true sorcery.
"Yes. This is my inherent barrier, my Reality Marble, and my Noble Phantasm," Archer declared. "Yuuji Emiya, welcome to Unlimited Blade Works. Here, you will be judged."
"If this is your trump card, then I'll answer with my strongest move," Yuuji replied.
With unprecedented focus, Yuuji adjusted Pandora's mechanisms. Two massive rings unfolded from the device, forming a seat that lifted Yuuji into the air. The rings rotated and aligned, with multiple weapon muzzles emerging from their surface.
"This… is Pandora's final form—Pandora's Reincarnation."
