Chapter 2 - The Call of Power

Chapter 2 – The Call of Power

Before he left his mark in the Convergence Point...

Before he challenged the echoes of the greats from past and future...

He was just a young man, living in a forgotten region of a world no one knew or acknowledged.

Everything about him was shrouded in mystery.

First: His name.

No one knew it. Not because he hid it... but because no one ever thought to ask.

When people spoke of him, they didn't feel anything was missing.

His name… was absent from collective awareness.

As if it couldn't be named at all.

Second: His origin.

No one knew where he came from.

Nor when he appeared.

Not even he himself knew.

Third: His identity.

Everyone who saw him never named him... but referred to him with a single word:

"unknown."

The strange part? No one found that strange.

Fourth: His body.

From his earliest moments of awareness, his body was unlike any other.

It was extraordinary...

It healed itself and grew stronger at astonishing speeds.

It possessed many strange qualities — most of which would only begin to reveal themselves.

And yet… what truly set him apart wasn't just the body, but the mind.

Whenever he imagined a battle, new techniques would surface in his thoughts.

At first, he believed they were pure fantasy...

But he didn't know they were real.

He didn't realize he would soon be forced to try them for real.

But the most unique thing about him…

Was that inner call.

When he heard it, something stirred inside him.

An unexplainable feeling — like something was being born deep within.

A call no one else could hear…

A call without voice or words,

Yet one that changed everything:

"Become stronger."

In an open field, stood a young man with an athletic build.

Not bulky, not thin. Balanced — as if made for battle.

He held a wooden staff, repeating the same movement:

> "Horizontal slash… from top to bottom."

– 1580

– 1581

– 1582…

Then he paused.

"Alright, that's enough to recall part one and part five of the technique."

This was unknown.

He wasn't just training… he was reinventing combat itself.

Attack, defense, speed, agility, balance…

Everything was being refined by him, alone — with no teacher, no guide.

He was no longer just a fighter…

He had become an entire combat system, in human form.

---

He finished his practice and wiped the sweat from his brow.

Then murmured:

"What kind of food should I eat today?"

A soft knock on the door.

– "Who is it?"

– "It's me, uncle."

He opened the door to see a middle-aged man, hair streaked with white.

His face calm and wise, radiating warmth.

This was his uncle...

The only person who had been with him since the beginning of his awareness.

But —

Because great stories cannot be told without understanding their beginnings...

Let's rewind a little.
