"Ye Liang, this person is actually the Kasumi Kage of Kasumi Country! He specializes in Kasumi Country's Kinjutsu. You must be careful!" Naizi shouted urgently from outside the arena.
Ye Liang's face turned pitch black.
Sure enough, jealous glances came pouring from all around.
They suspected him of being secretly chosen again...
"You little punk! You dare lay eyes on the Princess?! Just for that—I'll make you suffer right now!" Ibuki Ichiro growled, immediately slicing off one of his fingers!
Blood splattered onto the ground as thick black mist suddenly rose up!
"What the hell? Self-mutilation right at the start?!" Ye Liang stood aside, stunned.
"F***!" He hadn't even understood the opponent's intention when black mist from beneath his feet suddenly coiled around him! He tried using Sage Chakra to block it out, only to find the Sage Chakra completely ineffective against this mist!
It was as if Sage Art ranked lower than this black mist!
"Could this possibly be Undying Energy too?"
This black mist resembled the Phantom Dragon Nine Seals Jutsu Ye had faced before—it was also an energy far superior to ordinary chakra! Even more so, this mist seemed stronger than [Phantom Dragon Nine Seals Jutsu], matching even the Immortal Xieshen's energy!

Although powerful, this energy wasn't overwhelming in quantity. Though the black mist had invaded his body, Ye Liang wouldn't die from this alone—at least not anytime soon.
Moreover, Ye Liang still possessed large quantities of Undying Energy inside him!
With merely a finger severed, this technique granted by Kasumi could never truly consume him!
Before long,
the invading force indeed halted its progress. Eventually, after losing connection, it even showed signs of being absorbed by Ye Liang's undying ability.

Ye Liang's expression shifted — from pain to pallor, then cold sweat broke out on his brow!
"Put in a little more effort! He's almost done!" The spectators couldn't help shouting encouragement.
At this point, Ye Liang had already become the target of universal hatred. If someone could take him down, that'd be fantastic — for everyone else.
Ibuki Ichiro persisted, furiously channeling his dark aura. Midway through, he broke another finger. Ye Liang's face grew even paler — shifting from a normal white to an ashen white, like the color of a radish.

This creature was entirely black, with a red sphere at its core. But its power felt extremely unusual. Ye Liang could feel it — this thing definitely didn't belong here.
"The Yomi Guide cannot be defeated by conventional means," Ibuki Ichiro said coldly. "Since you resisted the dark aura, I assume physical attacks won't work against you."
"The Yomi Guide?"
Ye Liang had never heard of that before!
This monster actually appeared much later in Boruto's story. When Ye Liang died initially, that part hadn't even aired yet!
Damn! It must've been me again — the world just changed once more! Realizing this, he immediately started retreating backward.
He had a feeling that conventional ninja tools absolutely wouldn't work against this creature. He had to pull out all the stops!

"Roar!" It roared furiously, grabbing Ye Liang's arms with both hands. Then, with a sudden inhale, the chakra within Ye Liang's body was violently yanked right out!
"What the hell! This thing is actually this powerful!"
"Ye Liang was startled. He quickly shook off the annoying thing and leapt back. At this moment, how could Ibuki Ichiro possibly let such a golden opportunity slip away? He drew a shuriken and hurled it at Ye Liang!
'Dream on!' Ye Liang had already noticed him long ago.
Right then, his figure flickered. Right before Ibuki Ichiro's eyes, he suddenly vanished into midair!
