Inside the candlelit room, the air was thick with the scent of expensive perfume, whiskey, and the raw, musky tang of arousal.

Alex leaned back against the headboard, his lips curved into a smirk. His dark, predatory eyes were fixed on the narrow gap in the velvet curtains.

He knew Jennifer was right there, her breath likely fogging the glass as she watched the "Iron Lady" of the Vanderbilt empire reduced to a shivering, wide-eyed mess in his lap.

He decided it was time to turn the voyeuristic ache in Jennifer's chest into a full-blown fever.

"You both are so very good," Alex murmured, his voice a deep, vibrating rumble that made Vivienne and Helena shudder against his thighs. He reached down, his large hands stroking their hair with a casual, possessive rhythm.

"But you're being a bit slow for my taste tonight. A bit... cautious."

He stood up from the bed, his towering frame casting a massive, intimidating shadow across the room.
