Chapter 51 - You shouldn’t kill your guide

"None of your business, old man."

I said with a cold sneer.

Then the man chuckles, as if he found something amusing. And he said. "Little fool, no one gets away with mocking me."

Then he ran toward me with the sword heading toward my face. I dodged to the side and twisted my head to the side while the sword went past my ear.

My body felt the hum of the dark powers, and they whispered to me like a temptation.

Get rid of him.

The voice says in my mind, and I obey it without question. He needs to pay for hurting what belongs to me.

We fought for a while and everything near our fight turned into dust and broken rocks. The man mocked me but I ignored him. I didn't care what he said and after a while, the man seemed to get tired.

His breathing turns heavy, and the next second he flew backwards into the wall. And the demon snake crawls to him wrapping its body around him in a protective hold.

I grinned, my smile turning evil. "Not even your pet can save you."
