Chapter 12 - CHAPTER 8 (MAIN STORYLINE) The Charge and Dimension of glittering Aura

Just in time, Ashok was ready. The Rain of Despair began, wiping out two-thirds of Nermis's army. But we knew it was of no use as they would recover soon.

We had to charge the Wind Commander directly. Ashok had a plan. Plan was simple Ashok would take on Nermis, while I handled the army and cleared his path.

"See my power. Thank me later," Ashok said in excitement with mage staff on his shoulder and sword on his right hand.

Before I could respond, he vanished moving at a speed so high, it was almost impossible to follow. I smiled to myself. Really strong, bro. You've come a long way. You have left me behind. Let's finish this!

I activated Sand Torpedo, slashing through the army with precision, clearing a path for him. Confidence surged as my blades cut through the waves of soldiers.

Then, I found myself standing directly in front of Nermis. Chill ran down my spine so terrifying smile

A voice echoed in my mind He is killed… and of course, by me.

It was Ashok but when I looked, Nermis was still alive. His eyes glowed in a faint purple light with murderous intent. For the first time in my life, fear gripped me.

I unleashed the Sand Storm Technique 1, pouring all my power into it, and vanished from his sight. I shouted to Ashok that "He was still alive!!"

We realized that the Nermis Ashok had "killed" was actually just a clone.

And then just in time we got surrounded by knights.

I smiled, confidence unshaken. I raised my sword and swung with all my strength only to hear it snap in half.

My confidence shattered, but Ashok had a plan. He shouted instructions, and I took my stance, activating Sand Torpedo to launch Ashok into the air. Mid-air, he prepared his next attack.

I kicked forward, seized an enemy's shield, and at the perfect moment, Ashok descended with a Waterfall Strike, scattering the knights before him. High-pressure water blades sliced through the knight with effortless precision, cutting down anyone in their path.

It cracked in my mind ,this fight was going nowhere. We needed a way to stop this army completely.

Then, a memory flashed before me. One of the attacks my mother had taught me, the stance. A lethal attack the Leaf of Emerald. I remembered its devastating power… and its drawback. If used properly, it could wipe out 10,000 enemies at once. But if I failed… I would lose my hand forever.

I gritted my teeth. "Here goes nothing." I told to myself

I dashed forward, unleashing the technique. One soldier, ten, one hundred… six hundred… seven hundred… a thousand—gone in an instant.

Meanwhile, Ashok was heading straight toward Nermis, ready to strike his shoulder. I was about to kill a soldier when it suddenly dissapered . One by one all began dissapearing.

I froze. Even Ashok couldn't move. The battlefield fell eerily silent, a strange calm between the chaos.

We realized that Nermis had pulled back his army but he had noticed me. It was now just we two and him.

Why had he pulled back his soldiers? Was he playing with us?

Suddenly, the world around us shifted. The sky, the ground everything turned a deep, eerie purple. I realized we were no longer in our world. We had been pulled into another dimension. It was his aura domain

Nermis walked toward us, his aura darker and more oppressive than ever.

"For the first time," he said, his voice cold and deliberate, "I see you. Ashok right? Your father is Pardeep Shakhawat, am I right?"

His voice turned pale, yet a twisted smile appeared on his face. "I killed him."

A shiver ran down my spine. "Then… who was Brooklyn?" I demanded.

I could sense the desperation emanating from him. His next move was unpredictable, unbelievable.

"I will soon send you to your father as we—"

Before he could finish, I broke through his control. His temper exploded. He unleashed a flurry of strikes so deadly that any normal person would have died a million times over—but somehow, they had no effect on me.

"Let me tell you something," he sneered, his voice icy. "You are just a kid. The son of a traitor. Stop."

"You… you are the real traitor," I shouted, fury burning in my chest. "The real monster!"

Memories of my father surged through me. My father had been a true patriot, serving his nation until his last breath.

But… did he? Or had he fallen victim to his own commander—the man he respected most? The only one he trusted?

"Why?" I screamed, tears streaming down my face. "Why did you kill him?"

He sighed, a cruel, bitter sound. "No one. Not a single person deserves your belief. No one is good. To survive in this selfish world… you have to be ruthless!"
