Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Just after Chen Fan finished asking, four figures appeared from behind Yan Wei and his companions, moving as if they emerged from shadows. Chen Fan was stunned. He had been so focused on dealing with Yan Wei's ability that he hadn't even noticed the people behind him. Now, upon closer observation, they were identical quadruplets, with blank stares yet full of power. Chen Fan was slightly confused, wondering what four such individuals could do.

As Chen Fan was still wondering what abilities these four possessed, Yan Wei's magnetic voice resonated, soft yet full of menace.

"Are you wondering what abilities these four possess?"

Chen Fan unconsciously nodded, then looked up and saw the smile on Yan Wei's lips. He realized he had fallen into his enemy's psychological trap again. Just as he was about to get angry, he was drawn by Yan Wei's next words, each syllable heavy in the air.

"These four individuals each possess only one ability, and their level is LV4. Furthermore, this is an extreme form of this ability, which is—Space Tear."

Chen Fan felt somewhat nervous, but LV4 abilities were no longer a major threat in his eyes, so he continued to listen to Yan Wei, his expression still serious.

"Although it's only LV4, because all four are quadruplets, their abilities can link together, amplifying each other."

After hearing this, Chen Fan finally understood. And after understanding, fear emerged. An overwhelming, bone-chilling fear. He no longer paid attention to Yan Wei's next words and turned to run backward, his survival instincts screaming.

SWISH!

The leader of the Demon Race blocked Chen Fan's path, appearing in the blink of an eye, his dark aura radiating. Without wasting time, Chen Fan immediately changed direction. At this moment, Yan Wei's irritating voice continued, echoing throughout the battlefield: "When all four focus all their power on one person, they can temporarily reach LV6."

SWISH!

The leader of the Zerg Race blocked Chen Fan's path, his multifaceted body moving with unexpected speed. Chen Fan had no choice but to change direction again, his heart pounding.

"Of course, there will be a price, and that is they will never be able to use Superpower again. Well, are you satisfied? Hahahahahaha…" Yan Wei's laughter sounded hollow, cruel, resonating like a death knell.

SWOSHHH!

Countless burning fireballs, deadly sharp ice crystals, lethal wind blades tearing through the air, and various other Superpowers shot towards Chen Fan, resembling a combination of Erza Scarlet's devastating magic attacks and an unstoppable Shinigami Kidō assault.

"GET OUT OF THE WAY!"

All the Superpowers flying towards Chen Fan bounced back with double the force, knocking down the other enemy groups who screamed in pain. A mighty roar erupted from Chen Fan's mouth, echoing throughout the area. Perhaps it was the fear of his life being threatened, or perhaps he was provoked by Yan Wei's condescending words. Chen Fan's eyes turned crimson, gleaming with the dangerous light of a cornered beast. A faint black aura began to envelop his body, twisting and pulsing, similar to Sasuke's Cursed Seal taking over, or a Dragon Slayer's rampant Dragon Force.

At this moment, fine black cracks appeared in the space around Chen Fan. An immense suction force originated from the cracks, like a Kurohitsugi abyss ready to swallow, or a mini black hole appearing out of nowhere.

Feeling the immense suction from those cracks and seeing Yan Wei still laughing cynically, Chen Fan charged towards Yan Wei, his explosive speed exceeding the limits of normal vision. Yan Wei saw Chen Fan rushing towards him and yelled loudly, "STOP!"

Chen Fan's body froze, halted mid-stride, but only for about one second. The power of Holy Word was only able to restrain him for a moment. Chen Fan then continued to rush towards Yan Wei, as if a burning determination was stronger than a divine command. Yan Wei was also slightly confused upon seeing Chen Fan not fully controlled by his ability, and the spatial cracks around Chen Fan grew larger and larger, threatening to engulf him.

Chen Fan roared loudly, his voice hoarse with anger and despair, "Yan Wei, you're going to hell with me too! OPEN, AHHH!!!"

Countless black spatial cracks appeared around Chen Fan, spreading rapidly, turning into small black threads that spread outward. A dimension-destroying power began to sweep away everything around him, reminiscent of an unstoppable destructive Teigu's power.

"AAAAHHH! SHRINKKKK...!" Various miserable screams sounded from all directions. Monsters and people around Chen Fan began to be torn apart, their bodies twisting and disappearing as if swallowed into bottomless dimensional rifts.

Finally, in the last moments, Chen Fan saw Yan Wei torn into four pieces by the spatial cracks and sucked into them. A relieved smile, mixed with satisfaction and agony, was etched on Chen Fan's face, followed by a sharp pain that paralyzed him, and Chen Fan fainted, darkness consuming him.

FLASHBACK OFF

When he awoke, Chen Fan found himself an eight-year-old boy. "Fortunately, I'm a boy," he thought, shuddering. "Otherwise, I really can't guarantee I wouldn't commit suicide!" He made a funny face, as if he had just escaped a comedic disaster.

He observed his surroundings carefully. Gigantic trees towered everywhere, their trunks spiraling, with branches sometimes growing downwards, as if defying gravity. "This isn't the Earth I know," he mumbled, his eyes wide in disbelief. "The trees here… are they defying gravity?!" This was a sight he wouldn't find on Earth.

After carefully sensing his Superpower, Chen Fan almost burst into hysterical tears. He, who was once a top-tier LV5, now barely reached LV1! His ability had almost no significant offensive power before reaching LV3.

"How am I supposed to live like this?! I can't even walk, I'm so hungry!" he complained, his stomach rumbling with a dramatic sound, as if a shonen character had just lost all his power overnight.

GRRRROOOOAAARRR!

Suddenly, a massive roar split the forest's silence, making Chen Fan, who was still whining, jump. He reflexively leaped to his feet, half-crouching, and observed his surroundings with sharply narrowed eyes, like a Konoha ninja ready to strike from the bushes.

Suddenly, the rustling of leaves and branches echoed, and Chen Fan immediately turned to the source of the sound. After a moment, a wild boar, about five meters tall, emerged from the dense forest. Large, sharp, curved tusks protruded from its mouth, and a low grunt rumbled in its throat. Two thick streams of air puffed out of its large nostrils, stirring up dust on the ground. The monster looked more menacing than some of the Garganta he had faced in the past.

Despite its rather spectacular and threatening appearance, Chen Fan felt relieved when he saw it was "just" a wild boar. Then, his eyes darted around as if he had thought of something, and saliva began to drip from the corner of his mouth.

His eyes glowed bright red, reflecting the image of a delicious roasted pig in his pupils. He clearly saw the giant wild boar as a free meal, a walking dinner.

He stomped his right foot hard—TAP!—but nothing happened. He stomped again—TAP!—still no desired effect.

"Damn it!" He then remembered that he was no longer the LV5 feared by everyone and avoided by monsters. Annoyed, he kicked a stone on the ground with a loud grunt.

Fortunately, the stone flew straight towards the wild boar and hit its head with a dull DUNG! sound.

GROARRR!

The wild boar turned towards Chen Fan, its eyes burning blood-red, clearly enraged by Chen Fan's kick.

THUD! THUD! Its front hooves pawed the ground continuously, scraping up mud, its head pointed at Chen Fan, ready to charge.

With a WHOOSH! the wild boar charged at Chen Fan, the ground shaking violently as it ran, like a Pacifista rampaging on a battlefield. Chen Fan, who had just been venting his anger, felt the ground shake and finally looked up, only to see the giant boar's snout already in front of his face. Before he could react,

CRASH! Chen Fan was thrown far, his small body soaring through the air like a rag doll.

It was only when he was thrown into the air that he realized what had happened, his brain processing the event in slow motion. As he flew through the air, he couldn't help but think, "Damn it, I can't believe I got gored by a boar!" A tear of humiliation streamed down his face, like a comedic joke often befalling unlucky and ironic anime characters.

Suddenly, a sharp pain struck, paralyzing his consciousness, and he completely blacked out, still with tears of humiliation on his face, leaving an unexpected scene in that strange forest.
