"President?" everyone exclaimed, surprised to see Robinlu's figure appear in the midst of the destruction.
"I am the president of Cat Inn," Robinlu said in a calm voice. "Thank you very much. Thanks to you, we defeated the Six Demon Generals and stopped Nirvana. Thank you very much." He bowed respectfully. Behind him, the other members of Cat Inn also bowed.
"You're welcome. We didn't do anything. It's what we had to do," Erza replied while helping Robinlu stand up. "But, what did you mean by what you said earlier?" The others also looked at Robinlu, waiting for an answer. Robinlu glanced at Chen Fan, who returned it with a small nod, giving him permission to speak.
"Everyone, I'm sorry for hiding this. We are not descendants of the Nibit tribe, we are the Nibit tribe. I was the one who created Nirvana 400 years ago," Robinlu raised his head, with tears welling up in his eyes.
"What?!" they all exclaimed at once. "No way! 400 years ago?!"
"400 years ago, to prevent war, I created the magic 'Nirvana', which can reverse good and evil," Robinlu explained. "Nirvana was supposed to be a symbol of peace. But as I expected, too much power will give birth to an opposing power. Nirvana turns darkness into light, and darkness will also envelop Nirvana."
"That's right," Gray mumbled, remembering Richard and Sorano's words.
"Darkness wrapped around us. It was hell," Robinlu continued. "We killed each other, and I'm the only one who survived."
"How could that be?" Wendy covered her mouth with her hand, her voice trembling.
"No, that's not accurate. My physical body died a long time ago. I exist as a thought," Robinlu smiled sadly. "I have been waiting for someone who can replace my weak soul and destroy Nirvana. For 400 years, I've been watching. Now my mission is complete."
He closed his eyes, and one by one, the Cat Inn members behind him turned into specks of light that disappeared.
"What's happening?! Everyone, Maguna, Beibel!" Wendy yelled hysterically. The faces that were disappearing returned her with a look of relief.
"Don't go! Everyone, please don't!" Wendy cried, desperate.
"I'm sorry," Robinlu said with a voice full of regret. "All the guild members are ghosts that I created, similar to thought bodies."
"What did you say?!" Natsu yelled in shock.
"Ghosts with independent personalities," Jura mumbled, amazed. "What powerful magic."
"To protect Nirvana, I stayed in this village," Robinlu continued, looking at Wendy with affection. "Seven years ago, two teenagers brought a little girl. When I saw them, I knew my mission would soon end!"
"Who were those two teenagers?"
Robinlu looked at Chen Fan, who was hugging his shoulder and remained silent. "When I met Chen Fan, I knew he was the one I had been waiting for. He saw my identity. He and the other teenager asked me to take care of Wendy."
"But! But there's no Chen Fan in my memory," Wendy asked, confused. "Didn't I meet Big Brother Chen Fan during a mission?"
"That's a lie. He asked me to erase your memories," Robinlu replied.
"Why, why did you do this?!" Wendy asked, tears streaming down her face.
"I don't know, but I promised," Robinlu looked at Chen Fan, who still had his eyes closed. "He said that one day he would see Nirvana's destruction, and I had to awaken you."
"Now I understand," Robinlu smiled, this time genuinely. "He did this for me. He didn't want me to have any regrets. I'm happy to have been with Wendy and Carla. Thank you, Chen Fan!" He closed his eyes.
"No! Please don't disappear, President!" Wendy cried, hugging Robinlu's leg.
Robinlu opened his eyes, touching Wendy's hair one last time. "Wendy, Carla, thank you for giving me so many years of happiness. Now you don't need fake friends." He looked at all the Fairy Tail wizards. "Don't you already have true friends?"
Robinlu's body turned into specks of light that gradually disappeared. The guild emblem on Wendy's shoulder also vanished with him.
"Chen Fan, thank you, thank you very much. You let me feel the warmth of a family before I disappeared. From now on, I leave Wendy to you," Robinlu said, then his body disappeared completely.
Wendy fell, sobbing uncontrollably. Chen Fan knelt down and hugged her. Everyone felt a deep sadness. The newfound warmth had vanished.
In the sky, a large magic airship called 'Devil's Heart' was soaring.
"President Hades, you might have heard," said Urrutia, who had just entered.
"What is it, Urrutia?" Hades asked.
"The allied forces defeated the Six Demon Generals and destroyed Nirvana," Urrutia reported.
"I expected as much. But that's our goal," Hades replied, unperturbed. "We need the key to seal Zeref."
"Yes. The loss of Nirvana doesn't have much of an impact, but...?" Urrutia hesitated.
"But what?"
"It's still unknown whether Zeref can defeat that person," Urrutia admitted her anxiety.
