"Quiet! You pervert!" several women shouted, their faces flushed.
"If you keep talking dirty, I'll give you a lesson you'll never forget!" Erza threatened. Loki was startled and quickly ran away.
"How annoying! Another weirdo!" Carla said.
"Don't be like that, Carla. Brother Chen Fan seems so happy. And if he's happy, I'm happy too," Wendy said to Carla.
Mira and Erza exchanged a look. They were worried about Wendy's future. Chen Fan wasn't a good guy. They tacitly agreed that Chen Fan should not be allowed to get too close to Wendy.
"Wendy! Come with me!" Chen Fan suddenly called out.
"Okay, I'm coming!" Wendy replied. "Carla, let's go, Brother Chen Fan is calling us!" Carla immediately flew.
"Ooooooo..." Natsu whimpered, wanting to go with them.
Happy looked at Natsu. He was the only one who understood. "He says he wants to go too."
"Then let's all go together!" Gildarts said, and he and Chen Fan ran toward the wall, laughing.
Just as they were about to touch the wall, it crumbled into dust. Lucy was shocked. "This man is truly strange. Are all Fairy Tail members this weird?"
"By the way, is Chen Fan really a playboy? He hasn't been flirty lately," Lucy said suddenly.
Mira and Erza also realized it. Chen Fan's behavior had indeed changed recently. Although he still talked nonsense, it was rare. His actions weren't as flirtatious anymore.
Erza remembered when Chen Fan attacked her at Nirvana. After that, Chen Fan was imprisoned for two weeks. Maybe that was what changed him.
Chen Fan had already brought Wendy, Carla, Natsu, and Happy to Gildarts' house.
Before Gildarts could say anything, Chen Fan spoke to Wendy. "Wendy, check Gildarts' wounds. Can they be healed?"
Chen Fan's words shocked everyone. Natsu had never seen Gildarts injured. He couldn't believe it.
Gildarts was surprised. "I should have known, I couldn't hide it from you!" He took off his coat. His waist and shoulders were wrapped in bandages. His left arm and leg were severely injured.
"I told you not to take that hundred-year mission! You're lucky you didn't die there," Chen Fan said.
"Oooooh..." Natsu whimpered, his voice filled with anger.
"Alright! Stop whining, I'll take off your bandage." Chen Fan removed the bandage from Natsu's mouth.
"Gildarts! How did you get hurt? Who did this?!" Natsu saw the wounds on Gildarts' body.
"Ah! Uncle Gildarts is hurt!" Wendy was shocked. If the strongest wizard was severely injured, how strong was his opponent?
"Natsu, wait, don't talk yet. Wendy, see if you can heal him," Chen Fan said.
Wendy's hands emitted a light, covering Gildarts' wounds. But the light dissipated.
"Ah! No, Uncle Gildarts' magic is too strong. My magic broke apart when it touched him," Wendy said, wiping her sweat.
Chen Fan stroked Wendy's hair. "Okay, then you and Carla wait outside. I'll be back."
"Okay!" Wendy nodded, then went outside. Carla saw Gildarts' wounds, and something caught her attention.
"These wounds are hard to heal," Gildarts said.
Chen Fan nodded. "I know, they must have been caused by a dragon!"
"How did you know?" Gildarts was shocked.
"A dragon...!" Natsu was surprised. "Was it Igneel?"
Gildarts shook his head. "No, it was a black dragon. It radiated malevolence and a desire to destroy the world."
Natsu was disappointed. "Where is he now?"
"Why do you need to know? He wanders. What could you possibly do if you ever met him?"
"I would, of course, ask him where Igneel is!"
"All these wounds were inflicted in an instant. My left leg and arm... what could you have done?"
"As long as I use my magic, dragons and everything... a dragon..." The words failed him. A 'Dragon Slayer' sounded cool, but if he couldn't defeat a human, how could he defeat a dragon?
"I won't stop you if you want to go," Gildarts said.
"You bastard!" Natsu shouted, then ran away. "Natsu...!" Happy shouted.
Wendy came in. "Brother Chen Fan, Brother Natsu ran away."
