Chapter 2 - First Glance of Admiration

Nadia's POV

After fangirling over Elijah and admiring only him for four whole years, I'm finally going to meet him.

I can't afford to be late for my flight. This is my one and only chance to see him in person before I get old! Hahaha.

I've even handmade some gifts for him and written letter straight from the heart. I really hope he likes them.

After landing in [City Name]...

At the Fan Meeting...

Elijah.

He's here.

Right in front of my eyes.

Is this even real? Am I dreaming?

Ugh, those girls are hugging him. How frustrating!

Hey-he's mine. Only mine!

I was so lost staring at Elijah that I didn't even realize it was my turn.

I walked toward him with a big, bright smile. Oh no-did I just flash my teeth?

Ughhh... how ugly. Why am I like this?

He's only a few inches away now.

And he's looking at me... like that.

Wait-why is he staring at me like that?

Oh.

...I froze.

Great. I completely froze. Amazing.

I handed him the gifts I made with so much love. We clicked a few photos together.

And then I told him:

> "Remember, Elijah... I'm always here to support and love you. You're doing great. Never look down on yourself."

He gave me a gentle smile and nodded.

But the only thing he said was:

> "Thank you."

That's it?? Just thank you??

Is he serious?!

Thank God I didn't say "I love you." Imagine the embarrassment!

But... why did he look so lost?

I was so overwhelmed that I left right after.

Don't worry though-the concert hasn't even started yet.

Elijah's POV:

What... was that?

I've met millions of women-

From different countries, religions, and age groups.

Beautiful, gorgeous, average-looking, or not conventionally pretty.

But...

Why?

Why does she seem so different?

So eye-catching?

So quietly unforgettable?

Who is she?

She looked so lost in me.... am I really that handsome?

But then-

Why am I the one drowning?

She handed me some gifts-carefully wrapped, delicate. We took pictures together, and she even tucked one of those pictures inside the letter she gave me.

Then she said something-

> "Remember, Elijah... I'm always here to support and love you. You are doing great. Never look down at yourself."

I've heard things like this from fans before-countless times.

But when she said it...

It felt different.

Like her voice had carved out a small space in me.

Like her words weren't just admiration-

They were comfort. A quiet vow. A feeling.

And that nervous smile on her face-

It completely undid me.

All I managed to say was:

> "Thank you."

Just that.

A nod. A smile.

She left after that.

Soft. Sweet. Dreamy.

But it's alright.

She'll be at the concert anyway...

Right?

Later at the concert...

Wow-this never gets old.

The crowd is screaming again,

And I'm getting excited all over.

Their energy, their love... it never fails to lift me.

They're so sweet.

Always protecting me. Always cheering me on.

The concert begins.

-----------

Eyes in the Crowd:

Elijah is on stage-

Singing his heart out, moving with the rhythm,

For a moment, forgetting all about her.

But Nadia...

She's in the audience-

Eyes locked on him, completely captivated.

There's love in her gaze.

Admiration.

Obsession, maybe.

Her smile carries every shade of affection.

It's like the rest of the world disappeared for her

Only Elijah exists.

Every note he sings, every move he makes-

She watches him like he's a miracle happening right in front of her.

Elijah glances at the crowd, connecting with his fans...

Then-

He sees her.

Nadia.

Something tugs at him.

A strange pull.

Her face... it looks familiar.

He feels a little lost.

Caught in the moment.

Is it really her?

But... he doesn't even know her name.

He quickly shakes the thought.

No distractions.

He refocuses on the song, the lights, the cheers.

But her?

Her eyes haven't left him for a second.

She even brought a small camera-

Not just to record the concert,

But to capture him.

So she wouldn't forget even a second of this night.

Not his smile. Not his voice. Not his presence.
