Chapter 42 - Episode 42: The Moretti's Way

Betty's eyes widened in shock, and she felt like she'd been punched in the gut. She dropped to her knees, her hands clasped together in a pleading gesture.

"Oh, Mr. Moretti, please forgive me!" she begged. "I had no idea you were...the Leo Moretti!"

Ryan's eyes darted to Leo, then back to Betty. "Y-y-yes, Betty. Mr. Moretti is...the world's richest young master," he stuttered.

Betty's face turned pale, and she looked like she was about to faint. "Oh no, oh no, oh no..." she moaned, still on her knees.

Leo's eyes narrowed, his expression unyielding. "Get up, Betty," he said, his voice firm. "And apologize to my children."

But Betty just stayed on her knees, begging for forgiveness

Leo's eyes flashed with anger as he raised his voice. "Get up, Betty! And apologize to my children!"

Betty scrambled to her feet, still begging for forgiveness. "Oh, Mr. Moretti, please forgive me! I didn't know...I didn't mean to..."

But Leo was unforgiving. "You should have thought of that before you insulted my children," he said, his voice cold.

Ryan, Max's father, looked on in horror as Leo turned to him. "Ryan, you're dropping down to rank 5, effective immediately."

Ryan's eyes widened in shock. "B-b-but, boss...!"

Leo's expression was unyielding. "You should have controlled your wife. Now, get out of my sight."

Next, Leo turned to Miss Stella. "You're fired, effective immediately. I don't want to see your face around Elmwood Academy again."

Miss Stella's eyes widened in shock. "B-b-but, Mr. Moretti...!"

Leo's voice was cold. "I'm the biggest sponsor of this school, and I won't have incompetent teachers like you working here. And let me make one thing clear: you're not to be offered any job around America. Do you understand?"

Miss Stella nodded, tears streaming down her face. "Y-y-yes, Mr. Moretti."

Finally, Leo turned to Betty. "And as for you, Betty...you're losing your rank in the socialite class. You'll be lucky if you're invited to any parties again."

Betty's face turned white with shock. "N-n-no, Mr. Moretti...please...!"

But Leo just turned and walked away, leaving Betty, Ryan, and Miss Stella in stunned silence...

Elmwood Academy was one of the most prestigious schools in the country, and Leo Moretti was its biggest sponsor. He had just demonstrated his power, and no one dared to cross him again

As Leo walked away, Betty collapsed onto the floor, sobbing uncontrollably. Ryan tried to comfort her, but she pushed him away.

"How could you let this happen?" she screamed at Ryan. "You're supposed to be my husband, my protector!"

Ryan looked on helplessly as Betty's tantrum continued. He knew that he was in trouble, and that his marriage was on shaky ground.

Meanwhile, Miss Stella was frantically packing up her belongings, trying to process the sudden turn of events. She had never seen anyone as powerful as Leo Moretti, and she knew that she was lucky to have escaped with her dignity intact.

As she left the office, she ran into Luca and Aria, who were waiting anxiously for their father.

Miss Stella fell to her knees, pleading with Luca and Aria. "Please, kids, you have to forgive me! I didn't mean to be so hard on you, I was just trying to do my job!"

But Luca and Aria just looked at her with cold, unfeeling eyes. They didn't say a word, just turned and walked away, following their father out of the office.

Miss Stella was left alone, kneeling on the floor, tears streaming down her face. She knew she had lost everything, her job, her reputation, and her dignity...

As they walked out of the office, Luca and Aria couldn't help but look back at Miss Stella, who was still standing there, tears streaming down her face.

"Daddy, what happened to Miss Stella?" Luca asked, his voice filled with curiosity.

Leo's expression was stern. "She was fired, Luca. She wasn't doing her job properly."

Aria looked up at her daddy, a hint of satisfaction in her voice. "Good. She was never nice to us anyway."

Leo raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean, sweetie?"

Aria shrugged. "She always thought we were scholarship students or something. She was always mean to us."

Luca nodded in agreement. "Yeah, Daddy. She never liked us."

Leo's expression turned cold. "Well, she's paying the price for her incompetence and her attitude."

As they walked out of the school, they were greeted by their driver, Diego, who was waiting for them in the limousine.

"Hello, Mr. Moretti," Diego said, tipping his hat. "Welcome back, Luca and Aria."

Leo nodded, his expression still stern. "Take us home, Diego."

As they drove away from the school, Luca and Aria couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. They knew that their daddy was a powerful man, and that he would always protect them.

They smiled at each other, happy to be going home with their daddy

As they arrived home, Luca and Aria couldn't wait to tell their mother, Lily, about what had happened at school.

"Mommy, Mommy! Guess what?" Aria exclaimed, running into the house.

Lily looked up from her book, a smile on her face. "What is it, sweetie?"

Luca and Aria took turns telling their mother about Miss Stella's firing, and how their daddy had stood up for them.

Lily's expression turned serious. "I'm glad your father was able to take care of the situation," she said.

Just then, Leo walked into the room, a warm smile on his face. "Lily, I need to talk to you about what happened at school," he said.

Lily nodded, following Leo into his study. Luca and Aria watched them go, wondering what their parents were going to talk about.

As they waited, they couldn't help but feel grateful for their daddy's protection. They knew that they were lucky to have him as their father...

As they walked into the study, Lily turned to Leo with a questioning look. "So, what happened at school?" she asked.

Leo closed the door behind them and leaned against his desk. "Miss Stella was fired," he said.

Lily nodded, her expression thoughtful. "I'm glad you took care of it," she said. "Our children deserve to be treated with respect."

Leo explained the situation, telling Lily about Miss Stella's attitude and incompetence. Lily listened intently, her expression growing more and more concerned.

When Leo finished, Lily nodded thoughtfully. "You did the right thing," she said. "Our children's well-being is the most important thing."

Leo smiled, relieved that Lily agreed with his decision. "I'll always do what's best for our children," he said.

Just then, Luca and Aria walked into the study, looking curious. "Mommy, Daddy, what's going on?" Luca asked.

Lily smiled, hugging her children. "We were just talking about what happened at school," she said.

Aria looked up at her parents, a smile on her face. "We're glad Daddy stood up for us," she said.

Leo smiled, hugging his children. "I'll always be here to protect you," he said...
