Chapter 8 - 8

When the Golden Lotus Gang was negotiating with the Gable Gang, they sent Benson to provoke Huang Hong, deliberately inciting him to sign a death match agreement. However, the Golden Lotus Gang never expected that Benson would be no match for Huang Hong.

Moreover, there were quite a few people watching the match at the time, so the Golden Lotus Gang couldn't directly make a move on the ring.

Therefore, after Huang Hong left the karate dojo, the Golden Lotus Gang sent people to shoot and kill him. However, this incident caused too much of a stir and attracted the attention of the police.

Since many people in Chinatown were complaining to the police and demanding a quick resolution, the police dispatched a sergeant to handle the case.

And the man Benson had just seen off was the sergeant in charge of this case.

After the Golden Lotus Gang paid a certain price, the sergeant was ready to help them close the case. As for the murderer, the Golden Lotus Gang would naturally find a scapegoat.

In fact, the Golden Lotus Gang had already planned to make Huang Wen the scapegoat. Of course, they would quietly eliminate Huang Wen, disfigure him, and make it look like he was shot dead by the police.

Unfortunately, Huang Wen now knew everything.

"Ding! Mission One: Investigate the cause of the original host's father's death, completed. Reward: One draw for a supernatural item."

Huang Wen finally heard the system's prompt again, but it was still just that one sound.

Huang Wen's mind stirred, and after summoning the system, the system page appeared before his eyes.

"Current Missions: 0 / 2 (Incomplete)

"One: Avenge the original host. Reward: One draw for a supernatural skill."

"Two: Expand the martial arts gym. Reward: One draw for a supernatural character."

"Completed Missions: 1 / 1 (Reward: One draw for a supernatural item. Do you wish to draw?)"

"Draw." Huang Wen glanced at Benson, who was trembling and awaiting Huang Wen's disposal after finishing his explanation, and his mind stirred.

With a "swish!" Huang Wen saw a flash of white light before his eyes again.

"Ding! Congratulations, you have obtained a supernatural item: Tuxedo (an optimized tuxedo from the movie 'The Tuxedo')."

"Wait a minute?" Huang Wen was stunned the moment he saw the tuxedo. "Hey! System, isn't 'The Tuxedo' an American blockbuster? How did it become a domestic production? You're infringing, aren't you?"

Unfortunately, the system showed no intention of answering Huang Wen. Whether Huang Wen looked or not, the tuxedo was there, neither arguing nor fighting... ahem.

Of course, this tuxedo was not just a single piece of clothing, but a whole set, including a jacket, pants, shoes, a bow tie, and even a watch.

Seeing that the system had no intention of answering, Huang Wen had a vague guess in his heart. Could it be that this domestic film and television lottery also included Sino-American co-productions? Wouldn't that mean he could see many of Uncle Long's movies?

Huang Wen didn't know where the line for Sino-American co-productions was—whether the protagonist had to be Chinese, or if it was enough to simply have Chinese people involved.

However, now was not the time to dwell on it. Huang Wen looked at the tuxedo in front of him. He didn't know if this tuxedo draw was considered good or bad at the supernatural level, but Huang Wen knew that this tuxedo was bulletproof.

This was very important to Huang Wen. As for its other abilities, such as controlling the host's body to attack, it was somewhat similar to the feeling when Friday helped Iron Man fight Captain America during the Civil War, automatically selecting fighting styles.

However, Huang Wen was a Wing Chun master, so this aspect of the tuxedo was not of much use to him.

"Do you wish to extract the tuxedo? Hint: When not worn, it can be stored in the system." Huang Wen saw the prompt below the tuxedo draw and couldn't help but nod. This was convenient; he could put it on and take it off at any time, comparable to Iron Man's one-button transformation.

"Extract." Huang Wen nodded, and the next moment, he was standing in the darkness, wearing a handsome tuxedo.

"So, it has so many functions!" Huang Wen felt the information transmitted from the watch. Aside from not being able to generate weapons like guns and ammunition or fly, this tuxedo could be considered a lightweight battlesuit.

It could not only be bulletproof, walk on water, scale walls, and even become invisible, scan surrounding information, and modify or shield cameras.

Huang Wen could achieve all of this simply by communicating with the watch in his hand through his consciousness.

It's worth mentioning that the tuxedo's bow tie even had a function similar to Conan's voice changer, capable of imitating countless voices.

"It looks very high-class." Huang Wen was very satisfied with the well-fitting tuxedo, and a smile appeared on his face.

"You! You!" Benson, who was waiting for Huang Wen's judgment, suddenly constricted his pupils, looking at Huang Wen with a face full of surprise and doubt, "You're a mutant?!"

"Mutant?" Huang Wen was stunned for a moment. Wait, there are mutants in this world? What happened to it being a Marvel movie? Why are there suddenly so many experts and crises?

Moreover, if the X-Men exist, wouldn't the timeline of this world be completely messed up?

However, even though the X-Men haven't appeared on the screen alongside the Avengers, you can't say that the X-Men don't belong to Marvel movies. At most, you could say they don't belong to Marvel Studios.

Soon, Huang Wen recovered. It didn't matter. The Marvel world was probably chaotic enough already; adding the X-Men wouldn't make much difference. Perhaps he could even see Wolverine's adamantium claws scratch Captain America's shield!

"You! You monster, don't come any closer!" Benson seemed to understand why he was no match for Huang Wen. It turned out this monster was a mutant!

"Don't worry, let me ask you, how much do you know about mutants?" Huang Wen, having caught a sheep, was certainly going to shear it completely. "If you can explain clearly, I might let you go!"

"I don't know!" Benson shook his head in a panic. "How would I know about monsters like mutants?"

"So, are people afraid of mutants now?" Huang Wen thought for a moment and changed his question.

"Everyone is naturally afraid of these monsters!" Benson gritted his teeth and hissed, "Everyone wants to wipe out the mutants!"

"So, I still can't tell which timeline this is!" Huang Wen spread his hands helplessly. "However, with the bald wizard present, at least there won't be any 'Days of Future Past' situations. Things that happened in the past cannot change the future..."

"What are you talking about?" Benson was stunned, looking at Huang Wen with some confusion.

With a "crack!" Benson felt a sharp pain in his neck before he could finish speaking, and then he lost his life.

"How should I deal with this?" Huang Wen looked at the corpse in front of him and began to ponder. If he just left the body here, it would surely be discovered very quickly.
