I entered the cave and I could hardly see, I saw Silvia easily enough that was about it. After about three minutes of walking the cave ended I found out by running into the wall. I winced and rubbed my nose I looked around and didn't see anything at first that's when Silvia ran to one side and started scratching at the wall I followed wondering what she was scratching, at and in the dark I saw the am arrow stuck in the ground. There was no note on it I reached out to grab it the head came out of the ground easily enough. But the head was silver I stared at it confused "did they want me to grab this or something" I say looking around thinking I missed something. That's when I heard footsteps entering the cave I looked toward the entrance and saw a female walking towards me that's all I could make out about her I stayed still noticing she was carrying a spear. She also had a bow slung over her shoulder she stopped in front of me she had long brown hair green eyes tan skin and camouflage clothing she crossed her arms squinting at me "how did you see that arrow." she said "uh it was just over there." I said confused "that arrow has special enchantments on it so that only the hunters of Artemis can see it." "wait you mean like the Greek goddess?" "Duh who else." "…the Greek gods are real!?" Her eyes widen "you don't know? How old are you." "I'm 16." "you definitely smell like a demigod but nothing like I've ever smelled before and your sixteen how are you not dead yet?" "wait hold on demigod? Your telling me that I am the son of one of these Greek gods?" "I'm not sure, your definitely a demigod but I don't know if it's the Greek kind you could be Roman but camp Jupiter is far from her so let's get you to camp half blood." "wait what where those notes about you said "it was time"?" "Oh that I, thought you were someone else, not many people who walk around the forest with a fox. A silver one at that." I look at Silva "fair enough, do you want this arrow back or should I put it back." she paused thinking "keep it if you can see it then you should keep it." "if I can see it? what do you mean." "I said only the hunters of Artemis can see I can't even see it if you can then something is different about you, that arrow is a relic it was used to take down a major threat it was a long time ago so I'm not sure what but the hunter died while firing that shot she took it down with her they made a shrine for that arrow to commemorate her death and sacrifice." now I felt like I really shouldn't be holding it "oh, uh I didn't see a shrine." "the shrine could have decayed by now it was only the arrow that was made to last." she said while walking away, I followed, when we emerged from the cave I looked at the arrow it was a bodkin and the feathers where in perfect condition along with the rest of the arrow, but they were stained red blood I assumed, but it almost looked like the blood was still seeping through the feather. "so…I'm a demigod? And your taking me to camp half-blood." I asked lowering the arrow "yes and no." "wait what." "yes you are a demigod no i'm not taking you to camp." "how am I supposed to find it?" "It's off in that direction." she said pointing right nearly hitting me in the chest "so I just go in that direction until I find it?" "Yup, im sure your fox will help." I was so confused about everything I didn't even notice that Silvia was following next to me "okay but shouldn't I have a weapon? Isn't being a demigod dangerous?" "Yeah okay take my spear." she said handing it, to me I took it "uh okay, that's it? Your not going to train me or anything?" "Nope I want to see what your capable of." I sigh well I'm dead I think to myself, I held the spear in different ways until it felt comfortable "there you go you got it now go on your wasting time." "oh right." I say stopping I look in the direction she pointed and look back about to ask her a question but she wasn't there "…wha- oh never mind then." I look down and see Silvia rubbing her face on my leg like a cat, probably telling me to get a move on I reach down and pet her and then start walking with her following. the sun is setting but it's still relitivly bright out well, bright enough so that I could see the trees infront of me, we walked for a while without much happening I decided to practice with my spear doing thrusts, lunges, swing, blocks and parry's I felt ridiculous "well if any monster sees me they'll probably die of laughter" i say felling utterly ridiculous after a while my stomach growled and I realized I had no food or water.
