Chapter 541 - The Truth of the End Emptiness, a Cosmic-Level Crisis

A planetary-level torrent of energy wasn't that terrifying.

What was terrifying was a torrent of energy erupted from the Third Stellar Particle on a planetary scale.

The power of the Third Stellar Particle needed no further explanation. One only had to look at Izayoi's display of strength. Before he had a BDA, as a Codex Holder, he could unleash power capable of shaking the planet. After obtaining a BDA, he could reach the sixth cosmic velocity at full strength.

It could be said that Izayoi's current full power was enough to destroy an entire galaxy.

This was the power the Third Stellar Particle could grant to a mere human.

And the ultimate source of Izayoi's power was the Third Stellar Particle.

No matter how precious the Third Stellar Particle Codex was to humanity, for Earth itself, there was a virtually endless supply.

If Su Mo wished, he could even have the current Earth Spirit, Athena, release all the Third Stellar Particle Codices from within the planet, turning everyone into a Codex Holder.

It was safe to say that Earth contained an amount of the Third Stellar Particle unimaginable to humans. In terms of sheer quantity, Earth held the absolute advantage.

Furthermore, the existence of both the Sword of Promised Victory and the Ame-no-Murakumo—two Star Swords of the Ultimate Phase—indicated that Earth not only possessed a massive amount of the Third Stellar Particle but had also nurtured a vast number of natural BDAs.

From a certain perspective, all the star-forged weapons in mythology containing the root word "Astra" were gifts from the mother planet, but that's a topic for another time.

In short, in both the quantity of the Third Stellar Particle and the variety of BDAs, Earth far surpassed the humans who inhabited it.

But that raised a question. If even Izayoi could unleash galaxy-destroying power with the Third Stellar Particle and a BDA, what about the mother planet, Earth itself?

What if the current abnormal geological activity wasn't caused by simple physical pressure, but by an internal ocean of the Third Stellar Particle?

If that power were to erupt, how much stronger would its upper limit be compared to Izayoi's alone?

The question was so terrifying that even Izayoi dared not imagine the answer.

In the worst-case scenario, a planetary-level eruption of Third Stellar Particle energy could genuinely lead to the end of the world.

And "world" here didn't mean human civilization, the ecosystem, the planet, or even the galaxy—it meant the entire universe.

If that were the case, the End Emptiness was indeed the most terrifying disaster in the history of humanity, and of the planet itself.

At a minimum, it would destroy the planet; at its maximum, it could destroy the universe.

"Are we supposed to fight a monster of that caliber?"

Even Izayoi fell silent.

This wasn't a question of courage; it was simply impossible!

"It's not quite as exaggerated as you think," Typhon said, shaking his head. "Even if the mother planet loses control, it wouldn't destroy the universe... At most, it would destroy a galaxy, or a supercluster."

"That's still incredibly exaggerated, you know!"

Kudou Asuka couldn't help but retort.

She finally understood why Typhon had said the pantheons couldn't handle it. A mere pantheon of gods truly couldn't withstand a crisis of this magnitude; ordinary four or five-digit beings would be powerless against Earth's self-destruction.

"Is it really possible to defeat an opponent like that?"

She couldn't help but ask.

"I don't know," Typhon admitted frankly.

"Of course it is!"

Azi Dahaka, however, declared with absolute certainty.

"Lord Demon King, you know a way?"

Kudou Asuka blinked, subconsciously using the honorific to pry for information.

However—

"I don't know either."

The Demon King of Absolute Evil shook his head without a hint of shame.

"I only know that if we follow this brat's plan, and someone is willing to shoulder the fate of Absolute Evil, humanity's research on the Third Stellar Particle will accelerate significantly."

This had already been demonstrated by the previous supreme authorities.

Human experimentation was a wicked path, but it yielded results with terrifying speed.

"Silence! I will never allow such evil to fester!" Typhon vehemently objected to Azi Dahaka's suggestion. "If humanity can only survive through such means, then we might as well be destroyed!"

He felt that even death was preferable to letting such wickedness run rampant.

"Whichever path we choose, it leads to destruction, doesn't it?"

Izayoi said, a headache forming.

He suddenly understood why the powers that be had resorted to human experimentation to accelerate their research.

Although the supreme authorities had been driven by their own greed rather than the fear of annihilation, their predicament was the same.

They faced a problem that had to be solved, and the fastest way to make a breakthrough was through human experimentation.

Faced with such a temptation, very few could hold fast to their principles.

"Of course, there is a third option."

Looking at the troubled Izayoi, Azi Dahaka said in a playful tone.

"I may not know how to do it, and the Last Son of Gaia here won't know either, but there is one person who is certain to know."

"Who?"

"Why, His Excellency Su Mo, of course! The very one who orchestrated this entire situation!"

The Demon King of Absolute Evil said, his voice low and haunting.

"With a personality like his, why would he have initiated this hunt if he hadn't already found a path to victory?"
